Breaking the Silence: A Fight for Justice

Silence!

Stupefied,

Not By your behavior,

But an expected silence!

Bewildered,

Yet, we knew about it,

The dominant never had empathy!

But,

When we rise,

By the power of the Almighty,

We the People,

Will stand,

We will fight for What is right,

We Demand our Answers,

We Demand Sanity,

We Demand Justice!

Voice will flow,

Flow to break the Nefarious Lucifer,

And We The People will rise.

Mindless Sufferers: A Royal Rhyme

Is there a King,

Who can Sing?

Yes Sir, Yes Sir,

He can only Sting!

Sting Who?

Sting Who?

The Enemy! (Applause)

The Enemy! (Applause)

No Sir, No Sir,

He’s a stinging Donkey!

How Dare?

You call your king a  Donkey!

Guards! Send them all to the gallows!

No Sir, No Sir,

He is a Stinker,

But Definitely a Donkey,

Who does a lot of Hula Hoop,

With all the….

Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah,

Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah

Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah,  Blah

Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah…

I See… I See…

But who gives all….

Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha

Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha

Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha

Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha

Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha

Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha

No Sir, No Sir,

We are the Stingers,

We Suffer,

We are the Stinkers!

Yes Sir, Yes Sir,

We are the mindless sufferers,

We have no solution!

Told You, Told You,

Long Live the King!

Long Live the King!

Long Live the King!

We The Stinking Pile,

We Obey the King!

We the sufferers,

(In Chorus)

THE PARADISE CONFLICT – REVIEW #5

The Paradise Conflict

Author: Abhishek Ghosh

Review by Neelam Mungekar

Rating : 4/5

‘The Paradise Conflict’ by Abhishek Ghosh is a story that revolves around Mitra who is a bounty hunter of the Civil Imperial Regime. He is looking forward to take revenge from the rebels and looks forward to live in peace after completing his revenge. Then we have Judy who is working as a spy for the rebels and is currently spying on the admiral. Once known as the greatest city flourishing with trade and technology the city has now turned into ‘The Ghost City’ due to pollution caused by the fire/smoke. Most of the water resources got contaminated during the ‘The Great Fire’ or ‘The Great Smoke’ and there is a fight going on for this between the rebels and the officials. So, the water resources which are not yet contaminated are now under tight security of a few officials and the water is rationed depending on the number of members in the family. The conditions are getting more and more drastic over water and people can go to any extend to win this war over water. Will Mitra be successful in completing his revenge with the rebels? Who are the Rebels? Is the fight between the two parties valid? To know read ‘The Paradise Conflict’.

Thoughts:

The plot is interesting and really thought provoking. While reading the book the only thought that came to my mind is we should really respect our mother earth and not pollute our surroundings in any way. But the way things are going how many years do we have for these natural resources to go on. We should really think about our future and act wisely while using these resources and not just waste them.

The characters are well developed and strong. I liked each and every character and how their past is interlinked to what is happening today. There are some things that lead Mitra to believe that rebels are his enemy but when he learns the truth he is very hurt.

Language is simple and lucid. The narration is done beautifully. The book cover and the title of the book are apt to the plot of the story.

Overall, this was a very interesting read.

Book: The Paradise Conflict
By: Abhishek Ghosh

Blurb:

A QUESTION, WE ALL MUST THINK ABOUT: WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THE WORLD WE KNOW WHERE WATER IS SCARCE AND PUT UNDER CONTROL BY A POWERFUL REGIME? From an unknown future, where the water resources are controlled by the Civil Imperial Regime. The water bodies and rainforests which survived from the industrial wastes and exploitation are heavily guarded. If there is any unauthorised entry and consumption, the common people will be shot, imprisoned or forced into labour camps. But, there are rebels in the world who are fighting against the Imperial Regime. The surviving tribes rejected the Imperial Rule. The Rebels and the tribes have formed an alliance to topple the ruling regime. The rebels are fighting to restore the world, so that the world is free from further exploitation of natural resources and uniting the world together to restore balance in nature and humanity.

Review:
Ever thought what would our lives be if water wasn’t ours???
It becomes a resource to be controlled by the authorities who are not kind but torturous..

Living in the time when water is under the Imperial Rule and it’s a game of death to disobey the laws.

But as we all know where there is autocracy there are rebels. Just like Mitra, Judy The rebels prove there wits until there last breathe.

Coming to plot, it’s amazingly developed with such a unique theme and a message to all for our coming future. The way we are wasting the resources. It could be dangerous in the coming future.

The characters are strong. The narration is great.
Language used is easy to understand and the cover is just appropriate as per the title and the theme of the book.

This book is a message to all in an amazing way.

A great read.

THE PARADISE CONFLICT – REVIEW #2

Rating 4/5

My Ratings – 4/5 stars

I read the blurb and immediately decided to pick this up. As the concept of the book is really different than the books that I read. Plus this type of book should be encouraged. I will briefly summarise the blurb. The author has created a different world. A world that is controlled by a powerful regime. The people are divided into two groups. There are common people, who must obey. They are shot and forcefully made them work in labour camp and others are in tribes who rebels against the authorities. The water bodies and rainforest are polluted from industrial wastes and they are guarded by authorities and the tribes want to restore the world. Read the book to unfold further plot. I loved the plot. I never imagined that I would love such plot. It’s been imagined wonderfully. I liked all characters. The narration style of the author is crisp. I liked how the story took the course and how it ended. The language of the book is lucid so that everyone can enjoy reading it. Overall it was really good and different read for me. I really enjoyed reading it.
