D. Raye was raised in a small town in Southeast Kansas, where riding horses was part of her weekly routine. After struggling through high school and everyday life, she was diagnosed with dyslexia in her early twenties. Eager to overcome this adversity, she continued to educate herself.
Her love for art and culture has taken her to many countries where she explores her talent for photography. D. Raye is the owner/creator of Clay Foundation Sculptures where she creates custom one of a kind sculptures.
Dance has always been part of her life – from a young child through adulthood. She participated and led a Praise and Worship team for thirteen years.

A Note From The Author

I am blown away by the support of my first novel, Birth of Darkness. I sold 72 books at my book launch, SOLD OUT! I then took orders for 10 more copies and since the launch, I have taken orders for more than 30 copies. It has been an amazing week and I am very grateful. Thank you.
