329 Haiku Poems for your spiritual practice

This is my first book, published on the 10th of October, 2018. It was published in the very first year when I started up writing, which was exactly in May 2018.

"329 Haiku Poems For Your Spiritual Practice" is a collection of Zen free-form haikus that are created to inspire you more in your practice, on your spiritual path.

Each haiku (short 3 lines Japanese zen poem) is intended to be read slowly and meditated upon. It will bring mindfulness and improve meditation to the one who practices it.

The book is organized in 29 categories, all related to virtues, human traits and spiritual terms such as acceptance, awareness, compassion, mindfulness, freedom, nature, Buddha-nature, contemplation, emptiness, Enlightenment, equanimity, gratitude, humbleness, presence, joyfulness and so on.

Currently, the book is available as an eBook on all major platforms and also as a print-on-demand softcover book, only on European Amazon websites.

I am planning to record this eBook as an Audio Book soon, for those of you who are usually on the run and have less time to read.

Here's the GoodReads link to the book

Excerpt from "329 Haiku Poems For Your Spiritual Practice"

Mindfulness

1. A lily’s scent passes on
Over the trees
Of the silent mind, at night.

2. The painting tries to express
The mixed feelings of the painter
A butterfly rests effortlessly on its corner.

3. And at some point
Mindfulness arose all of the sudden,
Out of the thousands gaps of meditation.

4. A full day in mindful spirit
Cleans up thousands of unaware moments,
I am washing carefully my hands clean.

5. Not sloppy but also not too tense
Finding my balance
In this fast paced world.

6. Inside my mind
Empty of thoughts,
Everything else reflects as in a mirror.

7. Poised with concentration
I rest alert, with a clean mind,
Everything is as it should be.

8. Everyday, digging the fountain of mindfulness,
The more I dig,
The more water it can hold.

9. The more tranquil my mind is
The more unique and beautiful
My drapes have become.

10. Me and the curtain close to me
Are inseparable friends
In whatever I write.

11. Being one with any object I might choose
From my immediate surroundings
The bigger the object, the more peaceful my mind is.

12. This cup of coffee
Contains in itself
All my future mental projections.

New book coming up

I'm in the process of finishing up editing a Zen haiku love poems book, that will probably be available next year (2020), somewhere in January or February.

The book will first be available in eBook format on all major online stores and after 1-2 weeks also in paperback (softcover format), only on European Amazon stores + a few others, as print-on-demand.

It will be a delight to read, especially for you dreamers out there with a sense for romance, passion and kindness.

I personally think it is the perfect Christmas gift or something that your girl or partner would definitely appreciate. I tried to keep the poems meaningful and focused on love, in all its aspects.

Namaste
