Egyptian God Thoth

Hello witchies, this is Yessy Blue coming back at you with another episode of Witchy and Bitchy. And today we're going to talk about something that's really deep, parallel worlds, and shifting your reality. So, it's been hard times, I don't have to tell you guys why. And it feels like you have to work so hard to make a dime. You want to get ahead, but you hate the fact that you have to spend money, to make money.If you want to get that job, or that promotion, you’ll have to take an additional class or get a certificate, or even get a whole degree.
How to shift into a desired reality
Only now you're barely making it, you're paying your bills and you just have enough for the month and then you have very little leftover. But you want to live life, you want to have fun. You don't want to live to work, you want to work to live. You want to travel the world. You want to buy that fancy car, or you just want to feel alive. Most importantly, you want to feel like a human being. And you're tired of feeling like some droid stuck in some dead-end, corporate job. Well, the solution is not what you think. It's not to save more money, to sacrifice and live like a pauper, to starve yourself, or work three jobs. The solution is to shift your reality. And in this video, I'm going to show you how, by appealing to the ancient Egyptian god known as Thoth. So, stay tuned.
Understanding the Egyptian God Thoth
Now, we've seen the Egyptian god Thoth, on television before. He was most notably played by the late Chadwick Boseman in the Blockbuster movie that was good, but not so good called Egyptian Gods. And may he rest in peace and lie with the ancestors. And later of course, the Thoth role was reprised by the one and only Demore Barnes, Starz’s hit series American gods. Thoth is often depicted as a sharp, clean- cut individual, who wears spectacles and speaks in a very articulate manner. In Egyptian mythology, he is often pictured as having a head of an Ibis. In fact, his name was Ibis on American gods. Or he was seen holding a baboon with a crescent moon. Thoth is a moon god, he was self-created, along with his beautiful goddess, female mate, Maat. He is also accomplished in writing, and he is an official courtier of the underworld or the afterworld. Besides, he did write one of the best-selling books of all time, the Book of the Dead.
How to shift reality for beginners
However, the Egyptian god Thoth has a much deeper meaning and purpose. Along with writing spells, and telling stories, he is a master of shifting from one reality to another. So, you guys know that I've been writing virtually my entire adult life. And from this experience, I can tell you that writing can sometimes be easy or hard, depending on my mood, or the connection that I have with nature or the source.
Most writers, including myself, believe that stories are already written. It only takes someone who can open up their minds and of course, have a bit of patience, to piece all of those stories together, and bring it together in a way where it's coherent and make some kind of sense. Now, listen, you may not be a writer like me, however, I'm here to tell you that the same rules of writing also apply to you. And also, the same rules of writing apply in magic, in manifesting. Everything that you need, everything that you desire, everything that you want, is already here. It's created, it's actually created in this mass, multiverse that we live in. Yet, we have to open up our minds, and we have to open up our souls, and we have to bring ourselves into alignment, to bring that into reality. Let me explain to you how that works.
How to shift reality easily
So long ago, people thought that the world was flat. So, there were explorers who took off on this adventure, of finding fame and of course, finding glory. So, not only did they realize that the world wasn't flat, they soon found out that there was a whole world on the other side of the planet. And you sitting there watching this video, believes that the reality that you're living in, is the only reality, is the only world. But I'm here to tell you that that is far from the truth. In truth, we are living in a multiverse that consists of billions, if not trillions of worlds. And if you are able to go out and explore those worlds, you can find your fortune as well. And so, we have to understand how this multiverse works. It works much like nature, where there’s billions of planets that are being born, and billions of planets that are dying each day. So, when one planet is born, another one dies. Each of these planets have their own framework, their own realities. And metaphysical scholars would call these worlds, parallel realities.
Do parallel universes exist and are there parallel worlds
Now there's an easier way to understand this concept. The best way to understand it is to think about a television set. Now when I think about a television set, I think about the old, bubble screen TV with rabbit ears, and yes, don't shame me because I am that freaky old. Back in the day, you would sit in front of this television and you only got like seven channels, and the ones that did come in were blurry. And so, now we know that technology has come a long way. We don't have 7 to 12 channels, some of us have 200 channels or 300 channels, depending on our cable package and cable provider. And you can spend days sifting through all the channels to find something that you want to watch. Now listen, I want you to imagine that those television channels are parallel worlds and parallel realities. Each channel has its own programming. Each channel is equipped with movies and comedy shows and commercials. Each channel has its own movie characters, film directors, and producers.

How to shift your reality while awake
Now, let's take this concept bit further. We understand that nothing in our multiverse is created, everything already exists. If you have a problem, there is a solution. If you're sick, the remedy is on the other side. If you have a dream of becoming a movie star, or a famous YouTuber, that reality already exists in a parallel world or parallel reality. All you have to do is, shift through all those television sets, those parallel worlds or universes and find the one that fits you best. Now, I know what you're thinking. You're thinking that if it's so easy to manifest by just shifting your consciousness, then everybody will be doing it. Besides, people are suffering and we will all love to have our problems solved by just shifting from one reality to another.
Well, there's a reason for that. There's reason why people have a difficult time shifting reality, and manifesting the reality in which they want to live in. And two reasons come to mind.
How to manifest by shifting your own reality
One, people don't have enough ashé. Number two, people don't have enough awareness. You see, we're constantly using our power and our ashé to fuel someone else's dreams. So, instead of us shifting the channels when on our own television set, we're watching someone else's television set. And guess what guys, they determine the shows, the movies, the actors, and the programming. In short, they determine what our own reality is going to be. So, instead of us living out our dreams, we give our ashé and our power and our attention away. So, others can live their dreams, while we continue to suffer. Just look around you, attention is the new currency. Where likes and views and social media statuses, determine your self-worth. Yet, it doesn't have to be that way. You can keep your own power, you can keep your own energy, and you can keep your own ashé, and start to shift your reality by changing your own damn television set.
How to shift your reality while sleeping
And you can start by visiting the underworld but hold up. The underworld is not what you think, it's not a scary place with pits of hot bubbling lava and scary tunnels that you have to sift through. Rather the underworld is your subconscious mind. And your subconscious mind is the gateway to this multiverse. There, you can have a seat and start sifting through all of those channels. And you can determine which one suits you best, and which ones don't suit you best. And don't worry, sifting through those channels doesn't have to be hard, in fact, it can be quite easy. And the truth of the matter is, it gets easier over time.
How to shift into your ideal reality

Now the best way to start, is to call out to the Egyptian god, Thoth and start writing stories. And don't think that writing stories is difficult because it's not. Just write! Most stories or forms of creativity come from the subconscious mind anyway. And if you think is too difficult, you're in your head too much, you're using your conscious mind and not your subconscious mind. And so, in order for you to kind of get out of the habit of using your mind too much, you can set a timer, set it for 5 minutes, sit for 10 minutes, 15 minutes, but you're going to write for that entire duration of time or 5 minutes or whatever. And I want you to write about yourself, where you want to be, who you want to be with, what you want to look like. And when you do this, you're going to be able to shift your reality and do a deep dive as to who you really are. I think so many of us are so consumed with stimuli and there's so many distractions that we never take the time to self-explore and discover who we really are. And that makes it even more difficult for us to manifest what we truly desire.

let me tell you a little story. It extends all the way back to when our ancestors were cave men. They grunted, groaned, and when they wanted to have sex with women, they didn’t ask. They just clunked them over the head with a club and had their way with them. When and if the woman wanted to leave her abusive cave man partner, he would grab hold onto her hair and drag her back to his cave. And if she dared to lay with another man, well, she would just get clubbed to death. You see our cave women ancestors understood that men were always going to be physically stronger. Yet, they knew that they were never going to be energetically stronger. This is when women started to gather and begin to share secrets of the craft and magick. They learned about spells and charms and how to control their husbands by using sexual energy. Sadly, much of this knowledge is lost and now many modern-day women, much like their cave woman ancestors are being clunked over the head and allowing men to just have their way with them. But in this video, I am going to tell you how becoming a black magic woman will help you get this mojo back.



Understanding the black goddess





The cave man mentality is not really gone. A lot of men have fancier clothes, they can stand upright, they shaved, and have learned to use under arm deodorant. But their demeanor screams barbarian. In truth many of these men are cave men with an emotional maturity level of a toddler. And any time they feel threatened by an independent and modern-day woman, they feel that they need to clunk her over the head with their proverbial club and drag her by the hair back to their man cave. In truth, the power dynamic between the male and female has shifted, causing the female to lose her power and causing the male to have, well too much of it. Now, if you’re a male, you may think that having a great deal of power over a woman is a good thing. However, I am here to tell you that women being disempowered hurts you just as much as it hurts us. Let me explain.



Understanding Black Goddess Worship



In my other video about Mr. World, I spoke about how the New World Order hijacked Christianity and used it as a tool to colonize and exploit. As a result, paganism and pagan gods were completely wiped out. However, the war against paganism and indigenous gods didn’t start or even stop in Europe. In Africa, there was also a war against the witches. You see, in a lot of indigenous African cultures, it was the women who held the power of sorcery. If a man got out of line, or worse, abused or upset his wife or wives, a whole council of women would descend upon him with mystical sorcery and wrath. As a result, men grew afraid of these women and the mysteries that came about with being a black magic woman. And women grew powerful. They fought in battles, died in wars. They were known to use their magic to take down tribal enemies. However, somewhere along the lines, the powers that be found a weak spot, kryptonite so to speak. They learned that they could take a witch down using toxic energy.





The fall of the ancient black goddess





However, these soldiers began to use rape as a war tactic. You ever wonder why good men turn into monsters during war? Well, they are not only suffering from battle fatigue. They’re also backed up, and I am not talking about semen. I am talking about negative energy. Soldiers are in the constant state of flight or fight. Their energy levels are always high, and their stress levels are through the roof. As a result, they are looking for some form of release. And thus, plant their sites and seed on easy prey, the causalities of war. However, this type of energy Is incredibly toxic, and not only ruins a woman’s psyche, but also her ability to cast spells and conduct magick. Once these women were assaulted, they were considered, damaged goods, removed from the village, leaving behind children, husbands, friends, and loved ones. In essence, the assault on the witch not only broke down the nuclear family, but slowly eroded the community as a whole.





Understanding the power of the African Black Goddess



And the clubbing doesn’t stop there. Get it! Anyway, moving on. These women who were damaged didn’t stop doing their magick. Why would they! Only now, their energy was much more toxic. And soon, the beautiful goddess who loved, protected, and inspired her family, transformed into a hideous, deformed, and evil beast. We’ve seen the beldam witches, old and ugly, wrinkled and haggard. Women tend to lose their beauty, innocence and light when weighed down with too much negativity. Now, a lot of people confuse negative energy with evil, when they are in essence, two entirely different things. Negative energy is a fuel source and can be used for manifesting. Evil energy sprouts from degradation. And the best way to think about degradation is to think about rot. When fruits and vegetables are eaten fresh, it gives you fuel. However, once that food rots, you no longer can eat it, because it will make you sick. And that my friends is what’s been happening throughout the years. Many of us are being dumped on and the energy is making us sick, spiritually. Or worse, we’re being clunked over the head by cavemen, so he can have his way with us. This is especially the case with women of color.



How to become a witch



And it was Zora Neale Hurston who said it best, “black women are the mules of the earth.” Her being a hoodoo doctor understands the inner workings of energy and magic and realized that black women throughout the years has been used as not only a scapegoat, but also a dumping ground for negative energy. Afterall, people were never really black before. And the color black being evil is a relatively new concept. In the old world of sorcery and witchcraft, the color of evil was red. And since black is a dominate color that observes all energy, many of us continue to take on negative energy from collective unconscious. And things have gotten so bad, that people don’t even realize that we’re dumping. Well, until now.





How to release negative energy from the body, mind, and soul



You have to understand the power of the black goddess. And that power is birth and rebirth. It is our nature to take in negative energy, but it is also our nature to dispel it. This is the science and metaphysical art of alchemy that only a black magic woman can do. Contrarily to popular belief witches didn’t hex or curse, or intentionally harm people. That’s just something that Hollywood made up to scare people. In truth, they healed. They did this by taking someone’s negative energy and transforming it into positive energy. They did this by taking lust and transforming it into love. This is a process that worked well for people in relationships, because neither one had to carry all of the pent-up energy. The women’s ability to perform alchemy made the man stronger, and thus enabled him to reach a higher level of consciousness. Once there, he no longer felt the need to clunk a woman over the head and have his way with her.





Here’s how I release negative energy:



I visualize myself, surrounded by my ancestors, angels, or daimons. They have pales of buckets and they are thoroughly cleaning me. Once, I am cleaned. I am positioned in a pool with towering waterfalls. Here, I am able to visualize, create, and heal my own wounds and others.



Being a black magic woman is all about using negative energy as a fuel source. And then using that energy to manifest your desires.

Chernobog: The left-hand path sorcerer

I don’t know about you, but it was love at first sight when I set my two eyes on Chernobog. I know a lot of people would go for Shadow Moon, but seeing Chernobog all hot, bloody, and hairy, well that was kind of a turn on for me. I don’t know what it is, maybe it’s because I love black men. Or maybe it’s because I have an unhealthy fascination with the left-hand path. All I know is that the god of evil and darkness sure looks good in his t shirt stained with animal blood, his swallow and wrinkled skin, his cigarette dangling from his mouth. And don’t even get me started about his bloody hammer. So, in this episode of witchy or bitchy we’re going to talk about the infamous Chernobog and his quest to becoming the left-hand path sorcerer.

What is the left-hand path?

Are you someone who is attracted to danger? Do bad things constantly happen to you and you can’t understand why? Are you the quote unquote negative person in your group? Do you have ruminating and invading thoughts, but feel like you can’t share them with anyone? Do people always tell you to think positive, but yet you can’t help to think about the worse possible scenario? Do your worst fears come true? Well, there is a reason for that. You my friend are a left-hand path person, forced to travel the right-hand path. Like many left- handed people, you were forced to conform, making you irritable, and a little apprehensive, and somewhat weird. Not to worry, you didn’t do anything wrong. And being a left-hand path person doesn’t mean that you’re demonic or evil. It just means that you have another fuel source. That fuel source being dark energy and dark matter.

Guide to the left-hand path

We left-handed path people are the weirdos of society. Mostly because we refuse to conform and secondly because we are not taught how to use our own power. The second we are born we are forced into some form of religious rite, community, or organization. Our mind is hijacked, and our free will is stolen as we spiral further and further into a life that really isn’t for us. Yet, we are afraid to leave, partly because we fear the loneliness, isolation, and judgement. So, in order for us to manifest as our whole and complete selves, we have to reject society and the limits that they put on us. This is scary for a lot of people, especially if you were knocked over the head and forced into being a right-hand person. However, it is not so scary once you understand your power and how to tap into it.


Down the left-hand path

Now the biggest difference between the left-hand path and the right-hand path is fuel source. Right hand path people are getting a great deal of their energy strictly from earthly matter. What does this mean? It means that they’re getting most of their energy source from the communities from which they belong to. When people of a certain sector or fate come together in worship, they’re pulling their power together and making it stronger to siphon from. Just think about a program like Tanda. It’s a community of people creating a pool of money, where one lucky person hits big and gets the whole pot. Or people can simply pull their money/ energy together and divide it into equal sums. However, we all know that things don’t always go as planned. Greedy and corrupt officials are constantly dipping in the pot, making it more difficult for others to receive real benefits. Yet, we are constantly forced to join this organization and that institution. When these organizations really don’t do much to help us grow.

Left hand path v right hand path

And that my friends is the right-hand path. It is a path where winners take all, and many people are forced to live in deprivation and/or abject poverty. Yet, the Left-Hand path is all about breaking away from these systems. It’s all about finding your own way, creating your own rules, and to reject the system entirely. And that’s what the dark lord Chernobog from American Gods represents. To the right-hand path people, he is the god of evil and darkness. To the left-hand path people, he represents rebellion, destruction of outdated values and norms, and non-conformity. He is the god that teaches us how to tap into the alternative fuel source, dark matter. Let me explain to you how.

Odin and the left-hand path

There is a reason why Odin needed Chernobog to join his war. In case you didn’t know this, Chernobog is Bielebog’s estranged brother. In Slavic methodology, he is called the black god. And in Western culture, we understand anything or anyone who is black to be evil, violent, and deadly. In Slavic literature, Chernobog is only briefly mentioned. His disciples or followers were known to sacrifice dozens if not hundreds of cattle in his name. Those who didn’t make a sacrifice was stricken with misfortune, suffered through a long famine, or died from malady and disease. Chernobog was believed to be an evil deity, who thrived on pain and suffering. He takes pride in causing others pain. However, this was the Christian interpretation of Chernobog. Other sources said that Chernobog and his brother were in a constant battle. When Beilobog, the white lord won, their disciples would be blessed with a long endless summer, abundant crops, and fertility and love. When Chernobog won, the evil and dark brother, the disciples were hit by endless winter storms. In truth, the brothers work like the yin and yang forces of Eastern philosophies. One, ruling the dark aspects of life and the other ruling the light.

The right hand path

It is very difficult to understand the deities of yesterday. Mostly because many of us have been indoctrinated with right hand path ideologies of how the world worked. For example, our ancestors were more in tune with nature. This meant that they didn’t demonize dark energy, or black gods. They simply accepted darkness as an integral part of who they were. As a result of this, they didn’t suppress negative energy. I go on major Bitch rant on how suppressing negative is bad, bad, and bad in my other article on Dexter and shadow work. But please don’t let me digress. Getting back to Chernobog and his disciples, when they suffered through hardships, or long cold summers, they would simply switch to another fuel source, the fuel source of dark matter. This allows them to manifest miracles and to find strength when they believed that all hope was lost.

Left hand path metaphysics

Now the left-hand path isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. Oh no. It’s comes with its own hardships and struggles. In fact, I believe that the left-hand path is a harder road to travel down than the right. It is a process that involves constant pain and discomfort, and it encourages you to overcome your fears. Like I said, it’s not for the faint of heart. However, if you can master the left-hand path, you will be powerful beyond belief and be able to create a life that others can only dream about.

How Mr. World destroyed paganism and pagan gods #AmericanGods

Now, you’ve probably watched a million movies about how to slay your demons. Besides, there are numerous video games, television shows, and even cult classics that brand demons as the bad guys. Only problem is, demons, aren’t really that bad. Well, at least they weren’t back in our ancestor’s day. Demons actually derived from the word daimons were considered benevolent spirits by many scholars. They were summoned to help people navigate the world of the supernatural and reach out to their dead. However, with the birth of Christianity and the rise of globalization, demons were rebranded as evil and baneful spirits. And no show captures the whole concept of demons and demon slayer better then American Gods. So, in this video, I am going to explain how Mr. World destroyed paganism and pagan gods, rebranding them as demons and banishing them to hell for all eternity. Stay tuned for that.
The creation of evil pagan gods

Now great art is often a reflection of the real world. And the reason why I like the series American Gods is because it strikes so many of the right cords. I was blown away by season one finale, when Odin, Mr. Wednesday confronts the new gods. He tells them that they don’t really do much for their worshippers, aside from giving them a distraction. While the old gods inspire them and encouraged them to seek wisdom and knowledge. This scene is powerful because this war between the old gods and the new, is not something that is really new. No, it’s something that has happened before, hundreds of years before.

Roman Paganism practices in Europe

It was right after the classical era when the Roman Empire finally fell. Europe’s lack luster leadership caused a great deal of corruption and a huge disparity gap between the rich and the poor. To make matters worse, Europe was hit by a deadly plague called the Black Death that killed nearly a third of the population, coupled with climate changes that affected live-stock and crops. Most people were living hand to mouth, and some, were literally starving to death. In fact, this period, also known as the Dark Ages, was the first time that society actually regressed. So, in times of dire straits what do people do? Well, they prayed. Only problem was that there were too many gods to pray to. The Roman Empire had spread far and wide, spanning across Europe, Asia, and Northern Africa. And each area had their own god. People in Northern Africa prayed to Isis and people in Europe prayed to Diana and Freya.



What do pagans’ worship

Now, this proved to be a huge problem, since people began to break off and form into sanctions. A better way of saying this is that they formed gangs. And these gangs begin to attack other worshippers in other gangs. There was the Isis gang and the Diana gang, and the Freya gang. And they were all fighting amongst each other. Two of the biggest rivals were the followers of Mithra a Persian god, and the followers of Christ. There is archeological evidence that Christians attacked Mithra’s underground temples and mutilated their statues. If you want to know more about that, check out Religion for Breakfast. As a result, many of Mirtha’ followers were forced to convert to Christianity, thus strengthening the Christian influence over the European world.

Pagan history and Origins

Only problem was that people didn’t really convert. They just pretended to. So, they would go to worship Christ but still have altars of Isis, or Freya, or Diana in their home. Even worse, they still fought amongst each other. They needed to prove that their god was the right god. As a result, many Christians began to incorporate certain pagan rituals and even pagan gods into the pantheon.

Paganism Holidays and Festivals

We saw this in American God with Ostara, the goddess of the spring equinox and the winter solstice. Besides, Easter was her day, until Christ was prayed back to life and thus her worshippers became his worshippers. Yet, the New Gods struck a deal with Easter, allowing her to live on. Her worshippers could then paint eggs, eat chocolate bunnies, and plant beautiful flowers, all in her name, without knowing her name. If that makes any sense. Now, there were people who chose not to join the side of the new gods. Or people who simply refused to become Christian. As a result, there was a weird dichotomy that developed, where either you were for, or against the Christian Church. Those who were all for it, we’re the good people. And if they were really good, some of their gods and goddesses could be incorporated and even revered as saints or angels. But if they were bad, then their gods were bad too. Thus, creating demons such as Satan.

How Satan became a demon

Satan was thought to be a fallen angel, working against gods’ wishes, praying on the meek and innocent and tempting them with sin an evil. Besides, we all heard the stories of Adam and Eve, and virtually everyone believes that Satan was the bad guy. But in truth, Satan was simply a rebel, fighting against a corrupt and patriarchal system that didn’t serve the needs of the little man. Why does this sound so familiar? Satan was obviously a threat, so in an effort to destroy him, they had to defame him. And what better way to do that, then to control the narrative, the story line so to speak. Besides, people in the dark ages were starving. Their children were dying from bubonic plague and the winters had become bitingly cold and cruel. They needed to believe in something to get them through it. Or they needed a scapegoat. They needed to blame someone for all of their troubles and heartaches. So, then the gods that people once worshipped devolved into demons and anyone who was caught worshipping them were persecuted. The irony of all this is that as Christianity as a religion rose steadily in power and was used as a mean for globalization, so did globalization`. Who would have thought that the art of war included demonizing people’s gods and deities? Yet, this is something that has been happening throughout the years to not only maintain order, but to expand the presence of the powers that be.

Mr. World the Demon Slayer

American Gods does a really great job of explaining how powerful entities colonize using tools such as religion and demonization. Mr. World has been incredibly powerful, absorbing information and knowledge from all over the world into his book of life. The only issue that there is a rebel in a mist. A demon who goes by the name of Mr. Wednesday and his son Shadow Moon. Mr. Wednesday doesn’t follow the rules, why would he, he knows that the game his rigged. Of course, he’s known as a trickster and a con man, but he gets the fact that everything about Mr. Worlds’ world is a simply an illusion. However, much like in the Dark Ages, Mr. Wednesday and Shadow Moon become public enemy number one. In true colonizer fashion, Mr. World controls the masses through fear, using the father and son team as scapegoats and seeking to demonize them for all eternity. However, we have to watch and see if Shadow Moon and his father Odin are able to come back from this attack.

Goddess Ostara

Now, I don’t need to tell you how bad these lasts couple of years have been. We’ve been hit by a plague that not only took lives, but jobs, careers, and businesses. For the first time in my life-time whole cities were shut down in effort to save lives and restore balance. Many of us have had a difficult time manifesting. Some of us, have had a major string of bad luck. We just can’t seem to catch a break. In this video, I am going to explain why we go through entire bouts of bad luck. And how we can change our fates and future by reaching out to the beautiful goddess of Easter, Ostara.





Who is the goddess of spring?



Ostara played by Kristin Chenoweth was most recently featured on American Gods Season one, episode eight. In it, she is bubbling, bursting with light and joy, and quite content with her arrangement that she has with the New Gods. You see Ostara made the same deal as Old Saint Nick. Both Easter and Christmas would be major Christian holidays. But pagan rituals such as Santa Clause’s Christmas tree, and the Easter bunny’s-colored eggs would still be observed. This allowed the Old Gods to siphon energy from the one and true god, Jesus Christ. But after just one encounter with the old god of war, Odin, Ostara decides that she’s not happy with her new arrangement. In fact, she feels misrepresented in the media. Afterall, her worshippers had taken her for granted. They failed to pray to her. They failed to make proper sacrifices. And most importantly, they failed to understand the purpose of rebirth, sacrifice, and balance.

Ostara is traditionally known as the goddess of fertility. And she was often summoned during the spring and vernal equinox to bring about a strong and fruitful harvest. However, with the manufacturing of farming and agriculture, there isn’t much of a need for an Ostara pagan festival, or the need to worship and pray to Ostara for that matter. Now, if we’re hungry we jump into a forty-thousand-dollar cars and head out to the grocery store. However, long ago, finding food was very difficult. In fact, our ancestors were literally starving while hunting. And sometimes it would take them days even weeks to land a good meal. Many of them died in the process, and those who did, were offered up to the gods for their sacrifices. Crops and livestock were just as difficult to maintain. Droughts and cold weather made vegetables and fruits difficult to grow, and chicken coups and pigsty were often raided by foxes and wolves.



The history of the goddess of Ostara



Today, we don’t have a problem with food. In fact, it’s safe to say that we probably have too much of it. Only today, we have a different problem, money. Money, much like food is eaten way by creditors, bill collectors, and children who constantly need new clothes and shoes. We suffer from demotions and job losses that can put us into a real financial drought. And we are constantly marauded by the wolves that are also our business competitors. In many cases, we’re doing just as badly as our ancestors did. We’re not starving for food, but we’re starving for money. And we all know the kind of stress that we endure when money is tight. Poverty simply isn’t good for our mental health or state of mind. Yet, as the years progress, it seems that more and more of us are slipping into the depths of destitution.



Understanding the goddess of fertility and easter



Now, I go on a major bitch rant in other videos about manifesting and abundance. While there are others who simply believe that manifesting is all about belief. I believe that manifesting is all about energy, or chi, or ashé, or power source. And many of us simply cannot manifest because we don’t have enough energy. In many cases, we don’t know how to tap into this energy, and in others, we fail to make the proper sacrifices to attain this energy.





Did the Aztecs sacrifice humans?



And this is the piece of the puzzle that many of those manifesting and law of attraction gurus get wrong. Manifesting is all about sacrifice. And the more you wish to manifest, the greater the sacrifices you must make. Our ancestors knew this, that’s why they had cruel and even inhuman practices of sacrifices by today’s standards. In fact, it wasn’t unusual from them to throw people into fiery hot pits of lava. In the Aztecs culture, people would often volunteer to be sacrificed. Afterall, it was an honor to have their corpse grounded and then stirred up into soup or dinner dish. I know, all of this sounds odds to us, and fortunately, we don’t need to kill and eat others to make our sacrifice.





Human sacrifices are necessary



We can make our sacrifice by simply letting go of the things that no longer serve us. We can make our sacrifice by letting go of toxic people, a dead-end drama infested job, or even a bad habit that is stunting our growth. I talk about nature’s balance in many of my other videos. If there is too much negative energy, then nature will whip up some natural form of disaster to destroy those negative elements. Sadly, since many of us are removed from nature, we have intrinsically forgotten how to purge our souls, bodies, and minds, from negativity. As a result, degradation sets in. And we spiral down into a rut of apathy and self-destruction.



Making sacrifices on the Vernal Equinox



In this state, you won’t be able to manifest much of anything. Or worse, you’ll manifest all of your pent of fears and the horrors of your subconscious thoughts. And then, you’ll give up, thinking that none of this stuff works. When in truth, the magick didn’t work, because you didn’t do it right. The first thing that you have to do is make a sacrifice, a real sacrifice. Now, intrinsically, you know what that is. It’s something that you’re afraid of walking away from, or someone you don’t want to let go. It’s a bad habit that has been eating you up alive and stunting your growth. Then, you can work to recalibrate by reaching out to the goddess Ostara. You can do this on the vernal equinox, the day of balance, where there is just as much light as dark. And lastly, start to think about the world that you want to create. Think about the joy, the happiness, the prosperity and good health, and most importantly, think about sacrifices that you will make and continue to make on your journey to manifesting.

We’ve been told that our DNA is something that is etched in stone. We’re told that if there are certain characteristics about our bodies that we don’t like, we either have to endure a painful and expensive medical procedure to change them. Or, we have to just live with them. Yet, we all know that pretty privilege is real. And we all know that there is a politics of beauty. Beautiful women tend to make more money, date and marry affluent men, and throw their pretty privilege in our face. Yet, we don’t have to lose at this game. We can still shapeshift, if not our bodies, then our minds. We can do this through the power possession, which will enable us to become goddesses and demigods.



Changing your appearance through meditation



Virtually all ancient civilizations believed in polytheism. They believed that there was a god of war, a goddess of love, a god of sex, a goddess of fertility and abundance, and a goddess of healing. People now days probably think that it’s stupid to believe in a whole bunch of gods when you can just pray to one. However, it was a stroke of genius on our ancestor's part. Besides, they could shape-shift and become any god that they wanted to. If you were a soldier marching off to war, you could shape-shift into Ogun. If you needed to become aroused in the bedroom you could shape-shift into Aphrodite. If you needed to be deceitful or play a dirty trick on someone, you could of course shape shift into the Norse god Loki, or the Egyptian god Set. We can still shape shift today, but it has to be done in a different way. We have to shape shift through the power possession.

Changing your appearance with the law of attraction



Only today, people are afraid of the spirit possession and the power possession. So instead, we dream about it. We live vicariously through the lives of supernatural heroes such as the X Men and wish that we had all of their abilities. The mutant who I admire the most is Mystique. I haven’t read the comics, but I’ve heard that Mystique is even more of a bad ass in X Men Forever Miniseries. In this series, Mystique was exposed to dangerous levels of radiation, which greatly enhanced her shape-shifting abilities. Her powers were expanded to include night vision, wings that she could suddenly grow on her back, talons that she could grow when she wanted to scratch someone’s eyes out, and skin that hardened into natural body armor. Mystique could also shape-shift her organs, moving vital organs out of the way of deadly bullet wounds and knife slashings. She could even make herself invisible through the act of camouflage. Yet, while Mystique is the ultimate shape-shifter, she wasn’t the prettiest thing to look at in her natural form. In fact, some would say that she was butt ugly.



Can meditation change your appearance?





And there lies the issue. Most of us are walking around in our original form. We have no powers, we have no abilities, no supernatural mutations that can give us a leg up in this cruel dark world. Instead, we accept the default settings, and expect the world to accept us as we are. But we understand the game is rigged, and all of those rules that we abide by, are just designed to keep us down. Yet, we feel like our hands are tied, there’s not much we can do. Besides, we were just born ugly, fat, with a big nose, small breast, and a flat ass. We start to beat ourselves up and become society’s doormat and punching bags. Yet, we fail to understand that within our genetic code, we can shape-shift into anyone and anything that we need to be. Now, we all understand that X Men is a science fiction show about mutants being subjugated in a dystopian future. It's not real. But your ability to shape-shift is. Are you going to be able transform into an entirely different person like Mystique? No, of course not, it’s a television show guys. However, you can take on the attributes of some of your favorite deities, ancestors, and gods. You can do this through the power possession.



Can you change your body through meditation?

I talked about the spirit possession in my other video, The Last Dragon. And since then, I decided to rebrand the spirit possession by calling it the power possession. Besides, it sounds less scary and less threatening to be honest. Anyway, in that video, I talked about Bruce Leroy, and how he was able to channel an ancestor, Bruce Lee. By doing this, he defeated Sho Nuff, the Show Gun of Harlam. Now, the whole concept of channeling ancestors and deities isn’t something that is new, especially to those who practice African spirituality. We understand that in order for us to manifest, we need ashé and lots of it. And in most situations, that ashé comes from our ancestral line. Or, the energy can come from a Lao, or an Orisha that a practitioner is studying under. However, what many people do not understand is that when your priestess of a certain goddess. You’re slowly shape-shifting into that goddess. A priestess of Oshun won’t physically become Oshun. However, she will be able to take on the attributes of Oshun. She will become more loving, more kind, more sensual and sexual. A follower of Loki will never be as powerful or sinister as Loki. Yet, he can began to take on the attributes of Loki. And become just as cunning as the trickster god.



Can you change your body through meditation?





Here’s how it works. If you feel compelled to worship or study under a certain deity. That deity is probably part of your ancestral line. Or, your ancestral DNA so to speak. Why is that important? It’s important because all of your ancestors’ memories are laying doormat inside of you. While Mystique and other shapeshifters need an imprint, or some type of guide needed from them to transform. You have the imprint of virtually all the ancestors and the deities inside of you. Only problem is, the switch that enables you to access these memories are on the off position. So, shapeshifting is as easy as moving that switch from off to the on position. Sounds too good to be true, right? Well, that’s because it is. On the flip side, because you have access to so many ancestor memories, you’re going to have to figure out what buttons to turn on and what buttons to turn off. Besides, you don’t want to make the mistakes of turning on the wrong switch.





How to become a demigod?



However, I can make this easy for you. But first, you need to decide what kind of demigod you want to be. You need to figure out which deities that you resonate with, and start making your offerings, your sacrifices, learn their prayers, and meditations, and so forth. I did this when I was going through a particularly difficult time in my life. And like many women of color, the politics of beauty doesn’t always favor my aesthetic. So, I reached out to Oshun. I walked almost daily by the river, giving her offerings of honey and yellow roses. And from this experience, I realized that beauty was only skin deep, pun intended. But I also realized that my default settings had trained me to think that attractiveness was just about how I looked. This my friends is far from the truth. In truth, the energy that I project far exceeds physical beauty. And as I grow older, and wiser, that energy only gets stronger. While physical beauty slowly fades away. So, what’s the moral of this story? When you start to shape-shift into a demigod, your physical appearance will change, but also the energy that you project. This kind of change is more sustainable, and cheaper than plastic surgery, just saying.

What Motherland Fort Salem taught me about the witch’s mark

I have a witch’s mark, it’s on my butt of all places. At first, I thought that it was hideous and even considered getting it tattooed over. Then, after watching the series Motherland: Fort Salem. I was intrigued. Besides, all the witches on the show had the hideous devil’s mark, and the more active they were sexually, the more it glittered and glowed. I know, it’s a show for teenagers. However, after watching the first episode, I decided to do my own research. I needed to find out why all witches have the mark. And how it affects their ability to manifest, work with magic and cast spells. That’s all coming up next.



Motherland Fort Salem Episode One

Motherland: Fort Salem has been on my list of shows to watch for some time. Yet, it was only when I got settled back into the United States that I decided to start my binge-watching sessions. Season one, episode one ‘Say the Words’ is all about three teenage witches being recruited into the US armed forces to fight against a deadly and tenacious military group, called the Spree. The Spree are the supernatural version of insurrectionists. They want to wreak havoc and tear apart a government system that they view as corrupt and unjust. And naturally, an army brigade filled with witches trained in supernatural combat are what’s needed to stop them. There is strait laced Abigal Bellweather who comes from a long legacy of distinguished and decorated soldiers. Tally Craven, a virgin and member of an all women society joins despite admonishments from friends and family. And lastly, Raelle Collar, the blonde hair, blue eyed, bad ass witch, with side braids. Raelle is clearly over it, and only joined the army to investigate her mother’s mysterious death. Yet, the other two girls, Abigal and Tally need to pull Raelle along, kicking and screaming if they have to. Besides, their success is dependent on them working as a team, and that includes Raelle getting her shit together and not letting her teammates down.

The one thing that these three girls have in common, is that they all come from long and powerful lines of witches. Now, I talk about the power of ancestral lines in my other videos. I explain that we need to have chi, ashé, and power to do virtually everything, including manifesting. In fact, almost everything in nature needs some type of power source to operate, and witches and mystics are no different. The easiest and most accessible source of energy is through your ancestral lines. I go over this in my other videos, so I am not going to get into it here. What I haven’t gotten into in other videos is that there is this level of competition for these fuel sources. What that means is that everyone in your family doesn’t have access to this fuel source, only the selected ones. And these people tend to have the markings of the witch, indicating the power that they possess. In most cases, the most powerful person in the family line has access to ancestor energy and everyone else, well, they kind of get left behind. Nature is always going to reward the species that is the strongest and fittest. It does this because it wants a species to evolve and fulfill their own level of self-actualization. So when it comes to ancestor energy and blood lines, it is a case of winner takes all.



Witch mark meaning

However, there are rare exceptions where a witch with her markings is challenged. As a result, a duel or battle takes place to determine who is the strongest and who is the weakest. We have seen all of this take place in Black Panther where T’challa and Eric Killmonger fight it out for the legacy and the throne. We see it again when Raelle, and Abigal duke it out on the first episode of Motherland: Fort Salem. And please correct me if I am wrong, but it was hinted that Raelle, and Abigal share the same blood line. But the battle for ancestral lines isn’t something that is new. It happened thousands of years ago, in an old empire named Benin. The Edo people had a beautiful queen named Idia whose face was disfigured by an evil sorceress. Despite her hideous markings, she caught the attention of Oba, the king of the Edo people, and became his bride. She then birthed two sons, who were pit against one another for the crown. Idia being a skilled witch and sorceress, used her power to lift her favorite son to the throne. And even used her magic and sorcery on the battlefield against her son’s enemy. Oh, and by the way, witches always fought in battle. And no, it didn’t just start or end with Joan of Arc.



Devil’s mark and what it is

The CIA recruited mind readers to spy on the Soviets during the Cold War. It all started with a highly classified project in California in the early 1970s titled Project Stargat. The Army along with the Defense Intelligence Agency decided that psychics and people with extra sensory perceptions would be notable soldiers. Especially since there was compelling evidence that the Soviet Union was dumping loads of money into their KGP program, where psychics known as remote viewers were used to locate and predict the latest moves of their enemies. And even though women were banned from fighting in World War II, a group of women called the Night Witches formed a special unit where they flew fighter jet plans across enemy lines. Three women, in their late teens and early twenties were responsible for dropping 3000 tons of bombs and 26000 incendiary shells. So now, it’s no secret that the military recruits' powerful witches to serve in combat. And just maybe many of these ancient battles were won because of them.

Baran Samedi and tapping into the dark side

When you think about the dark side, you probably think about Darth Vader and his imminent demise. You think about scary movies such as The Purge, where people have one day to release all of their pent-up anger, inner hate, and frustration. And they have just one day to rob, rape, kill, kill and pillage. Movies like The Purge have put the fear of death in us. We like to watch the chaos unfold on television, all while we suppress our dark impulses. Afterall, we’re afraid that we might spiral down the path of despair, much like Darth Vader and become someone who is unrecognizable, even to ourselves. So, we remain afraid of the darkness, of opening up those forbidden doors, and spiraling down a path that we can’t come back from. However, I am here to tell you that the path to the dark side, doesn’t need to be that scary, especially when you have Baron Samedi on your side. So, in this video, I am going to explain to you who Baran Samedi is, and how he can guide you through the darkness, by leading you into the light.





Baran Samedi Folklore and Origin in Haitian Voodoo



Baran Samedi is a Hattian Loa and ruler of death and the underworld. He commands a huge army of the Ghede and can be called upon for virtually all issues involving life and death sickness and health. He has been seen on Netflix television shows such as The chilling Adventures of Sabrina. He is often portrayed as a man of big statue, with a skeleton painted face and large top hat. He is known to carry a staff or cane, loves to drink rum and to smoke cigars. Baron Samedi is a lady’s man, but he also quite fond of his loving wife and companion Maman Brigget. He is featured in season two, episode five of American Gods, where he is tasked to resurrect Laura Moon. Many people on the outside find Baran Samedi frightful. And they think that all loas or spirits that are associated with the Vodun religion or fate are inherently evil. This couldn’t be further from the truth.



Baran Samedi folklore and experiences



In my other video, Mr. World destroyed Paganism and Pagan Gods. I talk about how the powers that be used religion to colonize. As a result, pagan religions were not only wiped out, but pagans gods were demonized and considered evil. Naturally, some pagans’ gods were light enough to pass, but most were merely forgotten or rebranded as baneful and/or evil spirits. However, it is time to take this concept of angels and demons a little bit further. But first we need to understand one simple concept about magic and manifesting. We need energy, and lots of it. This energy is often described as chi, or power, or life-force. We get our energy from numerous sources, the first one being our ancestral lines. The second thing that we have to understand is that back in our ancestors’ day, there was no such thing as good or bad. People were more in tune with nature and didn’t believe in absolutes. Rather, they believed in seasons. For example, there was a dark season and a light season, and one season wasn’t inferior or superior to the other. But something happened when we made this shift into dualities, where everything was either good or bad. We then had a concentration of very negative energy. Let me explain.





Baran Samedi and Voodoo Zombies



You see when people invade other countries, they don’t just kill the soldiers. Oh no, they kill the women, the children, the live-stock, and the crops. By doing this, they are not only releasing all that pent up energy that they have inside of them, Purge style, but they are dumping a great deal of negative energy onto the people they colonize. Just think about villagers, all drinking and bathing from one stream or river. The villagers are depended on that stream for clean drinking water, but also to water their crops and to feed their livestock. But what happens when someone comes in and pisses into that river? Okay, the river gets a little polluted, but you can still drink from it. But then, someone comes in and dumps massive amounts of sewage into that river. Now, the water is so polluted that it is rendered useless, and worse harmful to the villagers. Out of desperation for water, the villagers drink it, but get sick. Now, the water no longer has the nutrients or minerals to sustain them. Just imagine that this river is your ancestral line. You don’t draw water from it, but you draw your ashé from it. Only now, it’s polluted and the energy that you draw from it is going to make you sick. This is why people have a negative view of black magick. And this is why when people tap into this energy, it makes them crazy. We’ve all heard of the stories of the people dibbling and dabbling into black magick and just losing their fucking minds. This is because the energy that they’re using is so polluted and so polluted that it made them sick, both mentally and physically. Furthermore, this energy can’t be used for anything good, it’s simply too toxic, it only can be used for evil. Again, you’ve heard the stories of spells backfiring and/or turning sour.

However, what you haven’t heard is that there are certain deities or Laos who can come and clean out this energy source. Laos like Maman Brigget and Baran Samedi can drain the swamp, all pun intended. These two loas, represent the dark and light forces, working together, and not against one another. Their relationship represent the yin/yang aspects of nature, the dark and light aspects of nature, the masculine and feminine aspects of nature, both working as one. Now, we all know that Maman Brigget and Baron Samedi are the overseers of not only death, but also the Ghede. And the Ghede represent our ancestors and ancestor lines. And so, before we do anything, we need to start by cleaning out our ancestor lines. Or more importantly, we need to disassociate ourselves from ancestral lines that adversely affect our magic and manifesting processes.

Many of us fail to realize that we are constantly pulling from this contaminated energy source. And as a result, we are subconsciously manifesting a great deal of struggle and strife. Furthermore, we become susceptible to negative energy. We not only hold onto it but allow people to dump all of their negative energy into our fuel source, or another way of putting it, our ashé supply. Sadly, we’ve been dissuaded from getting help from the entities that can help us, the Haitian Loa. And as a result, degradation sets in, and the Purge of taking lives and ashe continues.

And sadly, many of us are starving for love. In most cases, we received some level of disappointment early in our lives, where we were neglected by a parent or loved one. This was very much the case with the main character from Memoirs of a Geisha. Chiyo was stricken with hardship once her mother fell ill, forcing her father to sell her to a Geisha House and her sister to a neighboring brothel.

Early trauma, neglect, and even abuse can block your sexual energy, in particularly your second chakra. These blockages can not only cause you to close yourself off from love completely. But can also cause you to become insecure and even jealous. This was the case with Chiyo and her nemesis Hatsumomo. Hatsumomo was breathtakingly beautiful and alluring, but had a rotten temper and foul attitude. The moment she set eyes on Chiyo she vowed to destroy her. By first getting her to destroy her rival’s Mameha’s expensive kimono and accusing Chiyo of being a thief. Chiyo, a young girl looking to get away from Hatsumomo, and a stepmother who abuses her and works her like a slave, plans her escape. Only, she injures herself while fleeing. The mother of the geisha house tells Chiyo that she is now a bad investment. And instead of her training to become a geisha, she will work off her debt by becoming a slave. Only issue is that Chiyo was born in the year of the rooster. She has a very strong sacral chakra; this means that she is able to command the element of water. What does the element of water represent? Emotions, love, fear, hate, lust, and most importantly inspiration.

Chiyo gets her second wind when she meets a kind gentleman who treats her to some sweet ice. He gives her some coins, but instead of Chiyo buying food or clothing, she makes her first offering. This was her sacrifice. And with that sacrifice she vowed to become a renowned geisha. As with all wishes, years pass before they are granted. And right when Chiyo was beginning to lose hope, she is approached by the beautiful Mameha. Mameha makes a deal with Chiyo’s mother, telling her that she will pay for all training and will step in to be Chiyo’s mentor and older sister. The deal seems too good to be true. Especially to Hatsumomo who does everything in her power to ruin Chiyo, including lying about her virginity and luring her into a deadly trap. But as Chiyo trains to become a geisha she learns about the power of seduction and beauty. And with that she learns about the sacred power of femineity and sexual energy. Now, the movie made it clear that the geisha aren’t courtesans. Rather, they are artists. They are moving pieces of beautiful art. Now here’s where people get things confuse. They mistakenly believe that sexual energy is only used for sex. However, sexual energy is used for virtually all facets of creation. And most importantly, sexual energy is used to arouse the feelings of ecstasy and yes love.

Kundalini awakening process

There are very old practices that teach women how to use their sexual energy. One practice that is still common today is called kundalini. This is a practice where energy from the chakra starts to churn and travels throughout the body, enlightens each chakra, so that sexual energy is transmuted into loving energy. The best way to think about this process is to think about the rungs on a ladder. Sexual energy is on the lower rung and needs to rise up to create loving energy. And as I said in my other videos, loving energy has the highest vibrational frequency. So, by engaging in the process of kundalini rising or kundalini awakening, you are then activating the chakras and filling yourself up with loving energy. Now there are people who are probably watching this video and are like, so what? Who cares about sexual and loving energy? I want to get men to obsess over me. Well, that’s exactly my point. Once you’re able to master your own energy, you can then begin to inspire those same emotions in other people.

Case in point, Chiyo’s dance. It was lovely, but technically, there are better dancers out there. But the whole point of this scene was not to show off how well Chiyo danced. It was to show she was able to affect the audience and the people around her. In short, great art isn’t just about technique, it’s how you can make people feel. And if you’re overflowing with loving energy, that energy is so contagious, that people are going to want to be around you. So, in truth, desirability doesn’t start with people just admiring you. It starts with how you make others feel. And that starts with being able to control your sexual energy through your sacral chakra. And some people are naturally blessed with a strong sacral chakra. For example, Chiyo was able to get the Chairman to pay for all of her training and basically turn her entire life around. And she was able to do this, just being a mere child. Did the chairman complain? Did he call her a gold-digger? No! He was honored to support her, because what she was given him, and others surpassed all the money in the world. She was given him love, hope, inspiration, and joy.


The biggest problem that I see with many women is that we suffer from feelings of unworthiness. And so, we try and overcompensate those feelings of unworthiness in other ways. Many of us use sex as a transactional tool to get admiration or love. And others use sex to control and dominate. These behaviors may be part of an ingrained defense mechanism to keep us from getting hurt and experience pain. But sadly, these behaviors blocks us from receiving the love and the joy that we are entitled to. Naturally, you can overcome these fears by working on your sacral chakra.

I lay flat on my back. I shape my hands into a pyramid and place them on my lower belly. I close my eyes and imagine an orange light getting brighter and brighter. The light rises up to the third chakra, becomes yellow, and then to the fourth chakra, where it turns green. I do this until I can feel the energy circulating in my feet and in my hands. After this practice, I feel lighter. I no longer feel the need to compete, feel jealous, or be afraid of neglect or abandonment. I understand that people are like water, and they will flow, in and out of my life, for a reason, and for a season.

How Love Witch movie is a tribute to the Wiccan Goddess of Love

Hello witchies, this is Yessy Blue here with yet another episode of witchy or bitchy. And I think that I’ve been a little too heavy handed and dark with my content, The Shining, and Dexter, and American Gods, it’s all a little bit much. So, I decided to lightening things up a little bit, by talking about a movie that is slowly becoming a cult classic. Yes, you guessed it, the Love Witch. Now all the people who have analyzed this movie have said it’s about women’s liberation, and feminism, and pussy power. However, I believe that the movie revolves strictly around one concept, love spells, and of course the wiccan goddess of love that created them. So, I am going to talk about all of this in more in this video, so stay tuned.

How to cast a love spell

I have a little dirty secret, I used to cast love spells. But it’s not what you think. Many people confuse love spells with domination spells when they’re two different things. Firstly, love spells were casts by many of the goddesses in pagan religions. Priestesses of these goddesses would create temples. In these temples, women would be trained, geisha style on the art of lovemaking, seduction, and just learning how to be all out temptresses. Back in those days, the men didn’t choose the women. Rather, the woman chose the man. If a woman had her eye on a particular beau, she would go to the temple, where a priestess of Aphrodite, Oshun, or Freya would ensnare him in a love spell. Yes, I know, it all sounds like a fairy tale. In fact, it sounds too good to be true. Could you imagine getting any man that you wanted with just a little old love spell? Well, before you get too excited, let me explain this whole concept of love spells a little better.

I am sure that no one has ever told you this, but falling in love, is indeed a spell. When you meet that special someone and there’s that sudden spark, followed by butterflies in your stomach and stars in your eyes, you are indeed creating your own little love potion. We get an instant high off these emotions and feel like we’re walking on clouds when we are around our love interest. We’re besotted, consumed by lust, and want the honeymoon phase of our new relationship to last forever. Then, reality hits, and we find ourselves longing to make a few minutes of love last a lifetime. Now, back in the old days, the priestess in the temples were masters of illusions. What does this mean? It means that they had spent years mastering the art and process of falling in love. In truth, your mind can’t differentiate something that is real from something that is imagined. So, when you watch a fantasy movie, or read that lofty and spunky romance book, your body is still responding, pumping out all of those feel-good hormones and making you think that you are in love. This is why the romance genre is so popular.

And that’s what the pagan witch mastered, the art of falling in love. And through rituals and dancing that involved sex magick. They styled their hair and wore make up in such a way, to create the fantasy. And by creating the fantasy, they could evoke certain emotions within a man. Emotions that made a man feel weak, and in most cases, caused him to lose control. So, low in behold the domination spell took place.

What is a domination spell?

Now, let’s be clear here. A domination spell isn’t something that was created by males. Rather, it is a spell that was created with masculine energy. At a certain point love spells, potions, and love casting was strictly feminine. Women back in the day had a great deal of power. Their influence over men was significant and men in power felt threatened by their female energy and power. Before Christ, women would gather in temples and worship female deities such as Aphrodite, Freya, and Oshun. But it was Constantine the great emperor of Rome, who decided that everybody should worship just one god, and thus began the witch hunts. Hundreds if not thousands of priestesses were burned, tortured, whipped, and hanged. And many of their secrets about love potions, love spells was hijacked, and rebranded as evil sorcery.


The importance of Wiccan love spells

Now, we associate love spells with domination. We cast love spells in a weak effort to not only find control within ourselves, but also in other people. And much like the character Elaine in The Love Witch, we can never get the love spell right. Why? Well because society has taken something so loving and pure and contaminated it with ego and gluttonous desire. Now, the movie Love Witch, tells the cautionary tale of how witchcraft can be bad. However, the hidden message is that witchcraft is only bad, when the people who practice it are truly broken. Let’s do a deep dive.

The Love Witch Movie

Elaine can be described as a hopeless romantic. Or, put in better terms, a witch. The first scene is all about character development, as Elaine, dressed in mid 60s clothing and driving a very vintage car arrives at her new home, a Victorian style mic mansion, with an apartment designed for a pagan queen. Almost immediately, we are introduced to the interior decorated Trish. Trish brags about her beloved husband Richard, preaching about the benefits of being a modern woman, and being loved for who she is, as opposed to a fantasy she needs to present. Elaine is green with envy. Afterall, Trish has something that she wants, a loving husband, and Trish’s ideals around relationship differ greatly from hers. Later, while both Elaine and Trish are having drinks in a tea house, Elaine gets a flash of victory. Richard is attracted to her. Elaine is besotted by the power that she has over this man, and later uses this power to bring him to his death. But before she gets to Richard, she decides to sink her teeth into another man.


Understanding the domination spell

Elaine’s next victim is Wayne, a professor at a local college. There is an instant attraction that leads them both to a cabin in the woods. Elaine whips up another one of her love potions, forcing Wayne to drink and hallucinate. Dinner is then served and followed by night of sensual love making that brings poor Wayne to tears. He is obsessed by her and cries out for her all throughout the night. Elaine is disgusted by his behavior. Afterall, she wanted a love affair, not an obsession. Wayne dies from a heart attack soon after and Elaine’s honors his death with a witch bottle and a poor man’s funeral.

Love spells in a jar

Elaine soon finds out that poor little Richard is all alone. She invites him over, seduces him with another love potion and an exotic dance. Only, Richard much like Wayne becomes obsessed with the vixen. So much so, that he ignores his wife Trish, all while drinking himself into a restless stupor. Soon after, he takes his own life, feeling that the longing for Elaine was just too unbearable. Elaine’s quest for love seems to come to an end when she meets a handsome, squared jaw policeman named Griff. Griff is a man’s man, a brute, but also a gentleman. He moves and speaks in typical Dragnet fashion, working to uncover the murders in his town.

What is a black magic love spell?

He is alerted to Wayne’s grave at the cabin. There, he finds Elaine’s witch bottle and learns about the town’s coven of witches. He learns about white magic, which is healthy loving magick and black magic, which involves animal and human sacrifices, and rituals of greed and of self-interest. Now, I truly believe that calling evil magick black is racist, so in this video, let’s just call black magick, baneful magick. But anyway, I digress. Griff hunts down’s Elaine and immediately, there sparks. Griff falls in love and completely dismisses Elaine as a suspect. Yet, Elaine is still working on him, having her coven perform a fake renaissance marriage and a sex ritual.

What is a white magic love spell?

Meanwhile, Trish is grieving and seeks consolation from the uncaring and cold Elaine. Elaine then boast how she is in love and about to get married. Elaine gives Trish her ring, and hurries off. Trish, deciding on being a good friend returns her ring. In this next scene, Trish wants to transform into Elaine, believing that if she could become a man’s fantasy, she too could be loved. Upon this transformation, Trish discovers that the fantasy is very twisted in dark. She finds dolls, love potions, and other paraphernalia of all the men Elaine seduced, including her husband Richard. She gather’s Elaine’s things as evidence, intending to bring them to the police station. However, she is confronted briefly by Elaine, they engage in a quarrel where Trish threatens to ruin her.

What love spells in witchcraft is all about

Elaine seems unphased by all of this. Besides, she found her true love, and that’s all that matters. Later, she meets Griff in a bar, and is taken back by his sudden coldness. Griff, a man driven by facts and data could no longer ignore the facts that Elaine has been linked to three murders. The first one being to her husband, who died of an overdose right before he was about to get remarried. Griff confronts Elaine, telling her that no man could ever love her enough. And that he plans to bring her in for all the crimes she has committed. The fellow bar stoopers eavesdropper on Elaine’s and Griff’s conversation, hear the word witch, and immediately start to chant, Kill the Witch. They snatch up Elaine with the intentions of raping her, only she is rescued by her beau Griff. Together they escape the rowdy crowd, finding peace back in Elaine’s apartment. There, she tries to feed Griff another one of her love potions. He slaps it out of her hands, indicating that he would never be a victim of her spells. Elaine pulls out a knife, stabs Griff in the chest, and then becomes lost in her demented fantasy of her and Griff being in love, forever and ever, and ever.

A relationship that last forever

The Love Witch is a story of how society turns good people into monsters. Elaine was victimized virtually her whole life, from her husband calling her ugly and unruly, to the male cult leader who sexually abused her, to the people who taunted her and called her chubby. It emphasizes how females are in desperate need of powerful priestesses’ of yesteryears, but yet, we can’t find them. Because now, the art of seduction, love, and sensuality has been taken over by egregious male gods who are self-serving. The Love Witch is a movie about a woman who was lost, seeking love and direction, neglects to find it, and then slips into the darkness that is the madness of her own mind.
