What BeetleJuice Taught me about spirit guides
This meditation practice is for those of you whose life is a complete mess. For some reason, things are spiraling out of control, and you don’t know why. Besides, you tried to do everything right, yet things keep going wrong. What’s your problem? Well, your problem is you got too many spirits in your house. And when I say spirits, I am talking about daimons, spirit guides, angels, you need to get your life in order and put all those spirits back in line with this spirit guide meditation.
How to connect with your spirit guides
For some reason, the movie Beetlejuice always resonated with me. Now, looking back, the movie was corny with some really bad special effects. But I liked it, because it was original and more importantly it was a cheesy movie about death and the afterlife. But, much like all of Tim Burton’s movies, there is a hidden supernatural theme that must be decoded. And the theme of Beetlejuice was, get your damn spirit guides in line. If you don’t, they’ll wander around restless and some, may even wreak havoc on your life.
What is the meaning of spirit guides?
I talked about spirits and demons in my other video, Mr. World, the Pagan Slayer. In it, I talked about how we are disconnected from our nature. Many of us have been cut off from the supernatural and spirit worlds that contain, angels, demons, daimons, egguns, and ghedes. And thanks to millions of years of indoctrination, we’ve been trained to believe that all spirits are bad. As a result of this, many of these spirits are roaming around restless and in despair. To add insult to injury, we believe that all spirits are bad, and thus neglect to give them offerings or even tend to their needs. This results in some spirits being a little disheartened and even malevolent. Take Beetlejuice for example, he was a thousand-year-old ghost who grew tired of the bureaucracy and monotony of the afterlife. He wanted to live again, even if he had to cow and even manipulate naïve spirits like the Maitland's to do so.
How to talk to spirits?
Now, if you were going to watch this film, you would learn that everybody, and spirit wanted something. The Maitland's wanted the Deetz’s out of their home. Papa Deetz wanted peace and quiet. Momma Deetz wanted to transform the Maitland’s home into an art piece. And Lydia, the goth, teenage daughter, wanted a family who truly cared about her. Everybody has wants, and everybody has needs. But all the characters in this movie have one thing in common, their needs were being neglected. And this my friends is a very important key in working with and summoning spirits. You have to ensure that their needs are taken care of, always. This is why when people work with spirits, they normally put up an altar with some foods that that spirit may have enjoyed, or a picture to bring back nostalgic memories, or some wine, or rum for those loved ones who have passed on and looking for a treat. Now, keep in mind, your spirit guides aren’t actually going to consume the food. However, the gesture of giving is part of a love language that tells your spirit guides that you care about them.
How to remove negative energy from the home
The Deetz’s made a huge mistake when they found out that their house was haunted with ghost. Instead of welcoming the Maitland's and sharing the home. They wanted to exploit them. The vision was to create a haunted house, filled with cheap thrills and party tricks that people would pay for. The Deetz’s even wanted to use the ghost pictures and the book of the Newly Deceased as proof of life after death. All of these things are a big No.No. Spirits and spirit guides should never be exploited or degraded to a point where they become your slave. Remember, they were once human, and still possess many of our human emotions. This is why when you encounter a spirit guide, it is best to understand what their needs are. And work to satisfy them. Not as payment, the relationship that you have with your spirit guide is not transactional, but as a display of kindness and love.
How to deepen your relationship with your spirit guides
The second thing that you need to understand is that idle spirits are everywhere. Their walking around shopping malls, in quant old villages, in used cars, and yes, even in your house. Most people who are familiar with ghost and the supernatural, understand that the first thing that you do when you move into your home is clean it with some smoke sage. By doing this, you’re getting rid of some of the malevolent spirits, while inviting some of the more friendlier ones in. Once you give them offerings, and make them part of the family, they will start to work for you. And no, they are not your slaves. Rather, they are spirits who can handle the odd and tough jobs that you can’t get to. And if you’re reading this and you’re offended or turned off by the word spirit, or spirit guides, now is the time to understand that spirit guides come in all shapes, sizes, and colors.

For example, arc angle Rapheal is a spirit guide that can be summoned for group healings. Also, you may have been born with a guardian angel who works exclusively for you. Or maybe, you’re old school and like to work with Native American spirit animals such as snakes, owls, and spiders. The world is crawling with spirits and I am sure that there is one that is well equipped to help you out of any sticky and tough situation. However, we must use caution, because there are some spirits that may not have your best interests in mind. Many of these spirits have died a gruesome death, live in purgatory, or they were just terribly people in life, and now they are just terrible people in death. Avoid these spirits like the plague. Much like Beetlejuice, these spirits are out for themselves and they will use trickery and deceit to get what they want. And worse, these types of spirits are hard to banish, they carry a presence that may linger on forever.

However, it’s important to understand that while there is a growing number of distressed people in our world. There is also a growing number of distressed spirits. This is not entirely a bad thing. Once, we understand that spirits don’t want to be treated like slaves, but as our equals. We can then begin to summon more of them, and thus rely on them to make our lives better. Here’s how.
I see the spirit guides as my ancestors. And when I am in a pinch, or simply don’t know what to do. I call out to them. I go into a deep meditation, asking them for help in a certain situation. However, you must understand that my ancestors are not working for free. They are working to help me in matters of life, in which they also benefit from.
