March Newsletter
Hey Everyone!A lot that has been going on since last month.My first nonfiction book in seven years, Digital Fortress is out, and it hit the number-one spot in the Internet and Networking Computer Hardware category for several weeks in a row. I’m making it free for one day only on April 5th for my reading group. The audiobook is now available on Audible and the Apple Books store. I’ve decided to create a newsletter devoted exclusively to cybersecurity news. It will be available free of charge to my readers. Keep an eye out for an invite in the coming weeks.In addition to having my books for sale on Amazon and other retailers, I’m launching my online store. Without further ado, let’s get into the fiction updates.
The second developmental edit for Cosmic Squeeze is winding down, and I hope to have it in my hands in a week. My editor has been under the weather, so the edits were delayed. So far, the latest draft is up to 60k words, and the story isn’t finished. I suspect the book will be at least as sizable as Cassidy’s Fleet. The book should still be on track for a late summer release if all goes well. My comic book artist has produced more pages for the Blast Off standalone graphic novel. The first issue will be in the fall, and I will soon give everyone a sneak peek of its progress.While waiting for the dev edit for Cosmic Squeeze, I’ve been expanding Treeka’s cyberpunk universe. Seraph of Immolation: Book 5 of Cyber Hunter Origins has about 15k words written, and the story is just getting started. Hey Everyone!I can’t believe that winter is almost over. It felt like the holidays were just yesterday. I have a lot to share on the book front. Cosmic Squeeze, Cassidy’s next book, is in the developmental editing stage. I rewrote the book since last fall, and it better integrates into Interstellar Online. Also, special editions for the first two books are now available on Amazon. Blast Off has more steamy content, and Blast Off and Cassidy’s Fleet have exclusive comics. The audiobook versions are also done. Cassidy’s Fleet Special Edition audio is undergoing the QA process. I expect it to be on the Audible and Apple stores soon. I will publish the ebook editions in all other bookstores next week.
My first nonfiction book in seven years, Digital Fortress: Navigating Cyber Threats, is being published under my David Goodin pen name early next month. A few of you have already asked for advanced copies, which will be sent on Thursday. Please reply or use the ‘Contact Us’ form at davidgoodinauthor.com to this email if anyone else wants an advance copy to read and review.
I’m also launching continuing subscriptions to expand the Cyber Hunter Origins and Cyber Overture series in the Spring. Each week, I will release new content. Keep an eye out for an invite to the latest content soon.
