Let’s talk about the covers of Scorpion Shards, my Book of the Week. It’s amazing how a cover can make such a difference. The original cover, to the left, is among my least favorite cover of all of my books. It"s too busy, makes the story look comical.
It does, however, illustrate a key moment in the story when the characters fall through a tear in space into the “unworld” – a place I describe as “the place between the walls of worlds.”
