📚BOOK OF THE WEEK 11: X Files: Voltage📚

As a writer, I felt I learned a lot doing novelizations like X-files: Voltage. It’s really a reverse adaptation. Taking something that’s visual, and distilling it back down into internal imagination. It was great fun and a skill-building exercise.

For writer’s out there, I would suggest it as a skill-building exercise – take a scene from something that you love, and try to turn it into prose. Figure out ways of capturing not just the visuals, but the tone, t...

Is the Earth’s “heartbeat” of 7.83 Hz influencing human behavior?

📚BOOK OF THE WEEK 11: X Files: Voltage📚

The Schuman Resonance, created by global lightning strikes surrounds the earth. It’s considered the earth’s “heartbeat.” Is electricity alive in some way?

Something to think about while reading X-Files: Voltage, this week’s book of the week!

📚BOOK OF THE WEEK 11: X Files: Voltage📚

Something very cool about our Book of the Week #11, X-Files: Voltage, is that the actual episode of the TV show featured two teens at the very beginning of their careers, who have both gone on to become celebrated actors: Darren Oswald, the kid with the lightning, was plaid by Giovanni Ribisi, known for his roles in Sneaky Pete, and Avatar, among dozens of other roles. And his best friend/side kick was none other than Jack Black!
