K.T. McGivens is best known as a poet and her poems have been published in newspapers, community publications, and anthologies. She has written six books of poetry and is the recipient of two First Place awards.

An anthology of her best poems, titled "Dimming the House Lights" is available on Amazon.

With much trepidation, Ms. McGivens has now ventured into the world of mystery novels. She has begun writing a series of short mystery books featuring her character Katie Porter. Her stories are geared toward young adults but all ages will enjoy reading them!
