Beta Readers
Hello,
To any fans who are curious and willing fans, I'm looking for beta readers for my drafts to help along with the process.
If anyone's curious, feel free to reach out to me here, on Facebook, or on Twitter. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

HOTR The Soldier's Tale update
Okay.
Currently in Mexico visiting family/celebrating graduating college. Wifi is a bit tricky out here, especially in our area in Michoacán.
I had a lot of back and forth with a friend of mine in the states, and she was able to forward me some files to help correct my error with HOTR The Soldier's Tale. After following a lead from a local, and wandering around for a few hours, I managed to find an Internet cafe in Zinapécuaro and was able to resolve the issue. Also found a bitchin' place for helado, but I digress. The book will be live within two days, hopefully, and I'm contacting Amazon to send an update to those who purchased a copy on the 15th, 16th and 17th of December.
I'm still green and I'm still trying to get the process down with publishing, so pardon the lack of professionalism. I'm going to keep working to improve the process. After all, you have to be bad at something before you get good.
Cheers.

Second HOTR
I ran into an error and had to unpublish my book. I'm currently in Mexico and don't have easy access to wifi.
It's not delayed inevitably; perhaps another few days to a week.
I'll try forwarding an email to Amazon so anyone who did buy the book on the first day can be sent an update.
Pardon.

Still Going...
Salutations.
Since my last two posts were on the same day--which I didn't mean to do--I figured it was appropriate to give a little update to those kind enough to follow a greenhorn like me.
Well, there isn't really much to say other than the fact I'm 90% through my first draft. Though, truthfully, this last portion has been a bit of an obstacle to overcome, especially with academia sucking all of my brain's energy. It's going to be a bit of a slog for the last stretch, but I'm sure I'll make my previously stated projection of December. Perhaps even sooner if my new artist finishes around the same time I finish the editing phase.
I hope the next book can entertain as much as the first book.
Until next time,
B.C. Handler

HOTR Second Edition
Welp, instead of going back and forth with the Zon about trying to get a mass update pushed so everyone who purchased my book can have the proper version, I just updated the content and published a second edition. Now, nothing's changed aside from the formatting issues and glaring details, so the first edition should just assimilate into the second edition without much fuss. People who have their devices to auto-update should get the update if they purchased the ebook.
I went down some crazy rabbit hole trying to get some clarity and answers, but all should be well now.
I'll be seeing everyone, hopefully, in December.
Cheers.

Thus far...
Well, today is my birthday, and so far things have gone very mostly smoothly regarding the launch of my first book. Still, even after making a huge goof and uploading my second to last draft, I got a lot of positive reviews, and it warms my heart to no end. Currently, I have twenty four reviews on Amazon; 63% five stars, 29% four stars. And a lot of the positive reviews held some valid criticism that'll definitely help in the next book. Of course, I got one low review from someone who admitted to giving up reading the book about a fifth in. Interesting view point, but oh well. Honestly, I braced myself for a lot of nasty reviews (it's like going into a fight expecting to get hit), so it was a huge relief that a lot of people shared their praise and thoughts to help me grow; for that, I am truly, truly grateful.
At this point in time, I'm attending my fourth year in college. Needless to say, I am very busy. However, that won't mean that the second Heart of the Resonant book is on hold indefinitely. If nothing flanks me in the coming months, the next book should be ready by mid-December. This is my own optimistic projection of course, so I apologize in advance if I fail to meet that mark. I would never throw out a book just to get it out there if I wasn't happy with it. My hiccup with the wrong upload will be the first and last time. I want people to be deeply immersed in a story and enjoy themselves. For that to occur, I have to give my story plenty of care and time. It took me ten months for my first book. I intend to do the second with a higher degree of polish and in less time. That is my goal.
Thank you, my dear readers.
Hope to be hearing from you soon.
