First draft of 4th book complete.

The first draft of 'Journey Across the Galaxy' is complete. Will begin proofing in the morning which will be followed by playtesting. This one has been a long haul, so there'll likely be plenty to correct before it is ready for publishing.

I haven't vanished

Just letting everyone know I'm still hard at work writing my next book. It's just proving to be quite a long one, hence why I haven't spent much time blogging! Hope to see its release in the next month or so.

The Mystery of Dracula is now available as a Hard Cover Edition

The Mystery of Dracula is now available as a Hard Cover Edition, exclusively from Lulu Press via direct link (so you won't find it via General search). It is a non-ISBN book, so it won't be available via other online stores. I've only made this edition available in case there are any gamebook collectors who prefer to own hard cover editions. I would've done this sooner (such as, on release) except it took me awhile to get to grips with everything Lulu.

Defenders of Dusk now available at more places.

I've had a devil of a time getting this one across other distribution streams, primarily because of its smaller trim size vs my traditional 6 by 9 inch, but Defenders of Dusk has finally been listed on Book Depository and Fishpond as an alternative to the usual Amazon marketplaces. Writing challenge completed!

So recently I set myself a new challenge; write a first draft of a 400-section gamebook within 40 days. I actually completed the first draft in 29 days, and am now going through proofing and its first playtest. Its not just a practice book either, it will actually see a release! I will say after my first day of proofreading, that I make a tonne more mistakes when I write something this quickly! :)

ERRATA for The Mystery of Dracula

ERRATA: For those who have already purchased a copy of The Mystery of Dracula, note that there is a sentence missing from section 233. It should include a short sentence saying "Write down the keyword CLUE#25." For whatever reason this was in the final proof but was missing from the final manuscript. It has been re-added for future releases, but early copies bought from Amazon will contain this error!

Finished my 50 book reading challenge this week!

I don't think I'll set another challenge for a little while as I'm too busy writing, but its good to get this challenge done!
