Production Diary 2 – EWIST

Were farther along into the process now, and things are starting to go from images in my head to actual realities.

First off, a new cast member has been added to fill the role of Elmer. Hes the perfect fit the one I was truly hoping for when I was scouting and Im so pleased that hes agreed to do this. The character is suited entirely for him, and I think hes going to really bring it to life.

Ryota and Elmers Pistols

Next off, weve got guns. They started originally as dollar store children...

Henry Told Me – A Short Story

I wrote another short story, so I wanted to put it up on my blog. I find that some good things come out of my head when Im sick, while other times, I cant even write without my head feeling like a screwdriver caught in a fan. This is, fortunately, one of the former examples.

❧ Henry Told Me

Henry told me he was one of the Gods. I didnt know what that meant, so when he offered to show me, I went along willingly. He was never the best brother, in truth more of a friend to me instead of a...

Production Diary 1 – EWIST

Exactly Where I Saw Them Production Diary 1

I thought that as I keep working on the film, I might start a production diary on here to document what Im doing. Just to catch you up on whats been going on lately, Ill run through a couple things quickly.

First, there were the two VFX tests that I uploaded to my social media, as well as to the EWIST page on the website.

This was the gun test. I wanted to be sure that I could make a pistol look realistic going off, so pretended to shoot my...

Rosa – A Short Scene

This is a short scene that I recently wrote. Once I finished it, I found myself completely in love with it, so I thought I would post it here.

On one end of the room, to the left of the doors, was a flower vase three feet tall, its surface adorned with baroque patterns etched in gold; from the mouth of this protruded many long, green stems, each one tipped with a deep crimson rose, petals fully blooming. Above the doorway, the image of the same flower hung from pins bolted into the wall a...

Some Updates

Its been quite a while since Ive really given an update on whats going on in my life regarding my work, so heres a little check-in.

Whats really been taking up most of my time lately has been my upcoming film, Exactly Where I Saw Them. Shooting is planned sometime during this summer of 2020, so gathering a cast, equipment, and sets and props has been quite a task. As of writing this, I have one confirmed actress for the starring role of Queenie, but I still have the rest of the film to...

New Projects Underway

With the final read of the Plight of Steel finished, I thought I might start some new projects while I wait to format. A new novel is already started and a script for a stage play is already half done.

The Novel Ceres

Early concept for the Ceres book cover.

My first and biggest side project is a novel entitled Ceres. It is set in a science fiction universe created entirely on metaphor and symbolism, and centers around three characters who are all searching for something, whether it be love,...
