Novella

So, just to keep everyone who has very kindly read and rated either Pure Angst or Raging, I am currently (I would estimate) around 90% of the way through a novella about Ronnie Slater. Ronnie is a corrupt police detective who first shows up in Raging. The novella traces his 80s roots as a beat cop. It explores the desperate reasons why he initially becomes corrupted, and it explains why he has such an enormous vendetta against crime boss Dougie Donaldson by the time he shows up in Raging. The events of the as yet, untitled novella take place around the time of Pure Angst. Some of the events, in fact, overlap the first novel, so you are witnessing key events from another point of view. The aim at this stage is to release this as a permanently free Ebook to hook people nicely into the series, so keep an eye open for this release! Writing it has certainly kept me sane through this period of lockdown that's for sure, how has everyone else been dealing with their own personal version of Groundhog Day?
