Anthony Vincent Bruno is the pseudonym of the bestselling category author of The Long Road to Auschwitz (Heartbreak and Tyranny 1) and its follow ups - Leah's Story: Auschwitz to the Arctic Circle - The Road of Bones to a Stalinist Gulag and Rescuing Zia - the Bloodied road to Damascus. These three novels warn of extremism, both Left and Right. After warning of the dangers of Hitlerism and Stalinism, "Rescuing Zia - the Bloodied Road to Damascus" exposes the misuse of Islam's archaic sharia law. Not all Germans of the period were Nazis and not all Russians were Soviet hardliners and in the case of the third book, the author points out that not all Islamic fundamentalists are bloodthirsty jihadists. Honest reviews

I have read a few books of late that have been bitterly disappointing. A great many readers buy a book based on reviews already posted but I am now becoming aware that the field is not as level as it should be. I wish people would take more care in reviewing individual books, actually take the time to review them on merit, rather than other reviewers ratings and author's past glories.

“No one heals himself by wounding another. Saint Ambrose of Milan.”

“We must fear God out of love, not love Him out of fear. Saint Francis de Sales.”
Anthony Vincent Bruno, The Wisdom of the Saints

“It ought to be a cause of confusion to us that, being placed on this earth in order to fit ourselves for heaven, we yet think so little of our home, and speak of it so rarely. Saint Elzear.”
Anthony Vincent Bruno, The Wisdom of the Saints

“Lord Jesus, make Thyself to me A living, bright reality; More present to faith’s vision keen Than any outward object seen; More dear, more intimately nigh Than e’en the sweetest earthly tie.”
Howard Taylor, Hudson Taylor's Spiritual Secret

“I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.”
Marilyn Monroe

“Do I think it was inherent nobility that brought us out here?” He shook his head. “Maybe. I don’t call it nobility, though. I think it’s our innate human need to champion the underdog. We are constant optimists. We’re the emotional descendents of the caveman who stood defiant in the front of the wooly mammoth. We rebuild cities at the base of Vesuvius, get back on the bicycle when we fall off, whack that hornet’s nest every spring. Humans cheer for the couldn’t be, believe in the shouldn’t be. We love causes; the harder, the more lost they are, the more we love them. Is that nobility?Maybe. Maybe it’s a pernicious genetic defect that makes our species susceptible to shared delusion. Whatever it is, it keeps life interesting.”

Anthony Bruno It seems to me that Goodreads have allowed Librarians some sort of dictatorial power over how author's bookshelves are presented? Someone, unknown to even Goodreads, has messed with one of my series.....why? How can an individual be allowed to do this? The fact that it has happened, and makes an author look absurd, should not be allowed. Either be more select with these "LIBRARIANs" or get rid of them and choose another system.
The Long Road to Auschwitz does not belong in the AND THEN SOME series. Who added it to that series and where did the second book - AND THEN SOME TWO go? It was not like this, until recently, when someone, arbitrarily, changed it? Very troubling state of affairs.

Majenta Hello, Anthony! Thank you for contacting me! Congratulations on your books. Happy reading, writing, and everything else. Blessings!

Anthony Bruno Greetings.

Can anyone recommend an author similar to David Ignatius? I have read all his work and need more of the same.
