Born at the beginning of the 1970's in Berkshire, England, Jason found his passion for technology when the Spectrum 48k was launched in 1982. He taught himself how to code using books from the library, and later took the first 'O' and 'A' levels in 'Computing' available in the UK. Always attracted to new tech, Jason was often seen driving around the local area in a Sinclair C5 at the age of 16.

After spending time in Cambridge and France, he attended Aston University to read Business Management, later specializing in Law. However, the lure of new technology was simply too much to resist and Jason went to work full time at Cable & Wireless and later Microsoft.
