Fall into a New Perspective — Find Peace in Challenging Times
I am looking out at the deep blue, cloud-studded sky in Santa Fe today, enjoying the immense natural beauty around me. At the same time, I am experiencing a sense of confusion and anxiety and stress around the politics in the U.S. right now. Beauty, appreciation, fear and sadness — it’s all here at the same time.

A koan is usually a short question that may seem paradoxical, used in Zen Buddhism. You can sit with these questions, discuss with a teacher and use them as fodder for contemplation. The koan that keeps coming back to me these days is: “The opposite of what you believe is also true”.
