William B. Travis: Victory or Death

I am besieged, by a thousand or more of the Mexicans under Santa Anna – I...

[ALERT] New Community ‘Patrol’ Raises Red Flags

I find this video report from One America News just a bit disturbing.

I am reminded of the Muslim “no go zones” that have sprung up in countless European cities. I am trying to understand why the venerable NYPD needs any ethnicity-specific “community police” group? Do we now — or have we ever had —  Black, Hispanic, Japanese, Italian, German, Korean, Vietnamese . . . or dare I say, Christian, community patrols?

In the city where nineteen Muslims killed 3,000 Americans — and many more have sin...

Jussie Smollett’s Problem with Truth

Okay, if there is any doubt about the recipient of this week’s “Stuck on Stupid Saturday” recognition, ya must have just gotten back from the moon. Yes, this week’s award goes to Nike for the blown out basketball shoe on the left foot of Duke freshman sensation basketball player, Zion Williamson.

Alright, just kidding, but did y’all see how Nike stock dropped the following day?

Very well, our real and true unanimous winners — yes, it is plural — for this week’s “Stuck on Stupid Saturday” reco...

Two Tales: Triumph and Tragedy

I had a fantastic day in Jackson, MS, with conservative grassroots members of the Convention of States movement. I finally got the opportunity to meet and spend time with Mark Meckler who has built an incredible organization. But I was thoroughly impressed with the dedication of the volunteers who believe in the Article V principle of our Founding Fathers as enshrined in the US Constitution.

Think about it, a black kid, born in 1961, raised in Atlanta, GA, earned the opportunity to be recogni...

Letter From Clint Lorance

Faithful readers of the Old School Patriot know that I have been a longtime supporter of a pardon for young US Army 1LT Clint Lorance wrongfully imprisoned by the Army in Ft. Leavenworth.

I recently received this copy of a letter from 1LT Lorance. It’s beyond unconscionable that Clint is writing letters from prison while Bowe Bergdahl and Bradley Manning are free. Of course, Manning was released because he suffers from the mental condition of gender dysphoria. Thanks to an Army activist judge...

Jussie Smollett Case and How the Left Rolls

Right now we have a lying former Deputy Director of the FBI running around on all of the liberal progressive news media outlets, being praised as some kind of dystopian hero. Yes, I am alluding to one Andrew McCabe.

Just imagine if a Deputy Director of the FBI conducted themselves in like manner and conducted a covert counter-intelligence operation against Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton? Then again, why did they get a pass on the Uranium One episode, and how many millions of dollars from Rus...

Syracuse University v. US Constitution

Tuesday morning I had a radio interview with Chris Salcedo. He asked me a very pointed question about how we got to the point where socialism is finding a home in these United States of America. The answer is simple: academia. We no longer have a true system of education, but rather a system of indoctrination.

We have come to a point where a former US vice-president and senator, would go before a crowd in a foreign nation and refer to our country as an “embarrassment.” Then again, his former...

AOC: From Green New Deal to Great New Deal

You’ have probably heard the saying, “Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive.” Then, there is this one, the national anthem of the progressive socialist left: “Do what we say, not as we do, hypocrisy is how we roll . . . but it ain’t for you.”

Ya know, yesterday ol’ “feel da Bern” Sanders announced he was going to run for President . . . Granddaddy Socialist. But, isn’t he the same Bernie Sanders who has several lake houses up there in Vermont? Oh yeah, didn’t his...

The Global Response to Terror

If there is one thing that has caused great confusion, it is the lack of a global strategic vision in how to best confront global Islamic jihad.

First of all, we have what can only be termed as weak elected officials who have failed to classify this engagement as it is, a war against Islamic jihadism, or Islamism. We have gone too far down the path of referring to this as a “War on Terror.” Terror is a tactic used to further a strategic objective. No nation can fight a tactic, as well, we hav...

The Real American Dreamers: Our Angels

First, I have to say congratulations to the University of Kentucky Blue Nation for their resounding basketball victory over my Tennessee Volunteers Saturday night in Lexington. It was a great run for the Vols to be ranked #1 in college basketball for a month. I did not get to watch the game as I was in Colorado Springs speaking at the 4th Annual Angels of America’s Fallen Gala at The Broadmoor Hotel. Awesome place, folks!

The mission of the Angels of America’s Fallen, headed up by a dynamic h...
