Dearest Stalker: Part 1 is now FREE on all venues
“What do you want?” I rasped. “Who are you?” “My only purpose right now is to make you feel better. I don’t like seeing you cry,” he answered hoarsely. “You’re not alone, Kate.” I was momentarily stunned that he knew my name.
Had this man been at the party going on at the mansion? I assumed he had been since he knew who I was. Who else would know my name? Other than old friends, nobody knew me here in Florida anymore. I shivered as his hands traveled up the material of my plain black dress and came to rest on my very average-sized breasts. I knew I shouldn’t be letting a stranger feel me up, but God, his touch was like magic. “You’re not wearing anything under this dress,” the voice said disapprovingly.
Okay, I kind of found it humorous that some unknown male didn’t like the fact that I wasn’t sporting a bra. “I don’t need to. It’s not like I have that much to hold up.”
Actually, I’d hesitated to shuck my bra when I’d gotten ready for the funeral services, but the dress had patches of lace at the shoulders, and I hadn’t had a black bra to wear under it. In the end, I’d taken it off.
It’s not like anybody would notice that I wasn’t wearing anything underneath.
Or so I’d thought…
