HOV Lane Cheaters Using Mannequin

It seems that in the NYC area, some drivers have resorted to using a mannequin in an attempt to circumvent the HOV (high occupancy vehicle) laws. Looks like the police aren't falling for it though. :)

Download My Novel For Free on Amazon

Hello All,

Hope everyone is having a good week. My novel, It Could Happen Here is available as a free download on Amazon today through Saturday. Don't miss this chance to add a modern masterpiece to your TBR pile. :)

No, it is my first attempt at a book. It has some rough edges. Hopefully, these won't detract from your enjoyment.

A huge thank you to everyone who has reviewed or rated the novel already. It means a lot.

Robot Reporting

I've heard of artificial intelligence (AI) software being used in business and sports reporting. A program generates a brief snippet of an article using stock quotes, final scores, or similar data. However, I was unaware that AI is expanding into full-fledged reporting journalism to provide human reporters with "rough drafts and story templates." There is the familiar reassurance that "it is not a threat to human employees. Rather, the idea is to allow journalists to spend more time on substantive work." I'm not convinced. A Thank You

Thank you to Halley, Rebecca, and Stacy for reading and reviewing my novel, It Could Happen Here . We all have a huge TBR pile and other things going on in life. I appreciate it.

Also, a thank you to those who have downloaded the book on Amazon. As noted in an earlier post, the book will be available as a free download on Amazon through Sunday, January 27.

In hindsight, I regret not making the Kindle version of the novel free on a permanent basis. Next time, I'll do that.
