Free Yourself…

Is there someone in your life you need to forgive? Perhaps an ex, a parent, or even yourself? Forgiveness is hard. We hold onto past hurts, giving them life, but keeping the pain inside hurts us. It robs us of living fully today.

I had to forgive my parents for years of emotional and physical abuse. Fortunately, the damage they did to my self-esteem wasn’t permanent. By actively practicing gratitude, over time I was able to see my parents more clearly, understanding why they acted the way they did. I forgave them, and I was free. You can do it, too. Start with gratitude…
