Gratitude

#MercifulPouringGraceGratitude. Gratitude is among the most important ingredients for happiness. It is more than a feeling but an action. Gratitude and appreciation are one in the same. We appreciate our relationships, our blessings, our experiences and our God given life. We show gratitude by taking good care of all these aspects. Being grateful for our health, physical and mental means we make good decisions, exercise, stretch, eat well and get good rest. We appreciate our gifts by putting them to use no matter how challenging. We make the best out of every situation by focusing on the positive. We spend time with, teach, comfort and give affection to those we love. Helps to say, thank you to God for each awesome member of your family and pets each morning, express how much we love them and ask they be blessed as we make the sign of the cross on their precious heads. We say thank you to God daily for his love, waking up, our health, all that we have, all that we do and are by offering the sacrifices of righteousness and putting forth our best effort. We show God our appreciation in our constant obedience especially in the face of adversity and doing what is right by him, even when it’s uncomfortable, unpopular, difficult or at whatever the personal cost. We take care of our home to the best of our ability, grateful to have. Even the simple things are beautiful when clean. So grateful to God we pray daily for everyone, put Jesus first and give our heart in everything we do especially when dealing with others. When things go wrong, we are grateful it’s not worse and it is God’s will. We are grateful for all the lessons received especially the tough ones, learn from them and use it to help others. We are grateful to share the cross with Jesus, so we praise him. We do all this because we are grateful for our lives, to be given this chance knowing it’s a gift and we gladly give it back, be it God’s will. Forever so grateful for the life lived nothing more we want and all we need is God. #GodisTheCure #InspiredByTheHolyGhost #Godisgood 11/01/21 😌❤️🙏

Praise God

Out of the mouths of babes comes words of wisdom. Praise God. Our children drive the message home as the chant “trick or treat”. In other words, “can you see we are being tricked to celebrate the Devil? Or are we wooed by the costumes, candy that will be overly consumed, drinking and immortality that we consider a treat. Kids don’t ever get tricked on Halloween it’s the adults that do thinking it’s innocent fun. But if we are not against it, we are for it. Unlike religious holidays such as Easter and Christmas morning most holidays are celebrated in the evening and not much good happens at night. We will know them by their fruits. What makes Halloween unique is that the most evil occurs and celebrated. Should we also celebrate in unison if it is a betrayal to God? Who clearly said have nothing to do with anything that is of evil in any form. Should we look the other way because we aren’t directly experiencing it. The enemy will make evil appear innocent and fun at first even get you to believe things are going good for a while but eventually it wears off and we pay for bargaining with the dark side whether we are able to make the connection or not. Do we commit to God 100% or just when we agree? We all must meet our maker and the here and now determines our fate. Choose wisely. We Can’t serve both good and evil and only God truly loves us and his blessings last a lifetime unlike the temporary fake happiness the enemy entices us with. If Halloween is the greatest Evil feast there is, we shouldn’t be a part of it since it’s not of God, but we are and we should be as loyal to God as he has been to us. #GodisTheCure #InspiredByTheHolyGhost #Godisgood 10/31/21 😌❤️🙏

To Have Faith

#MercifulPouringGraceHaving relentless faith must be one of the ultimate goals. Faith in God can help us survive anything with grace and dignity. Faith is trusting God amongst great adversity and extreme challenges. Faith is doing our part and taking a chance even if it seems unachievable because we have have God who is omnipotent. Faith is not giving up and always believing God is any possibility for the greatest good. Faith is knowing everything is God’s will, trusting that it is perfect and accepting it with serenity and peace. Faith is standing by God no matter what even at the prospect of being tortured or killed. Not everyone gets the opportunity to be a martyr. Those are very few. Maybe as few that go to heaven while the rest of us will go to purgatory. But in more practical ways, most everyone deals with demons. If we allow Demons to fester in our soul we can get in a difficult bind. Faith is praying through your tears, anger and lose of hope, knowing God will eventually help. Faith is committing to God’s truth no matter how difficult and unpopular. Faith is embracing the cross even though we don’t understand. Faith is believing God knows best even if it feels and seems wrong. Faith is when we don’t get discouraged when it doesn’t happen for a while or we are still struggling but pray more instead to increase the probability. Faith is giving it up all for God, even love of self. It also means giving it your best effort. Faith is never letting go of God as he never abandons us. Faith is not about things going right but about pleasing God and handling it well. Faith is another way of saying; “God I love you.” Faith is the one thing that best will save us. With faith, everything is a miracle, love is a priority and it all matters. #GodisTheCure #InspiredByTheHolyGhost #Godisgood 10/30/21😌❤️🙏

So We Have a Jealous God?

#MercifulPouringGraceSo we have a jealous God? If like me you’ve had a hard time with that statement being that God is perfect, doesn’t mean it’s not true. It is in the Bible, so I thought about it. Imagine creating children with great love and care, blessing them with gifts and providing for them. Including a world resembling paradise. Giving them your all to the point of sacrificing your only son for their sake because the first two betrayed you. Always by their side, helping them, forgiving them and never giving up on them. Guiding them with comfort by providing the word in the Holy Bible. Always loyal to them, never changing and true. Loving them unconditionally at whatever personal cost. Yet some of these children forgot about you, spend more time admiring singers, actors, tik tokers, politicians or themselves, don’t find you important, don’t believe you or believe in you, became lukewarm thinking they know better, ignore that you exist when they act badly, reject you and hurt you, despite trying twice to get them to come around and even after the impact Jesus made. Would it not at least hurt your feelings? Jealousy is hurt feelings. Imagine being married for 33 years. You give your husband children, your entire being and all your time, but suddenly he finds someone else more interesting. We would get Jealous that he is paying her more attention and is ignoring us with all we gave to him not even close to what God did for us. What if he stops believing you and becomes argumentative as if what you say is not valid or worth believing and often thinks he knows better? What if he stops putting you first and only thinks of himself? Or you stop being the center of his world, his success became more important. What if he only listens to you half the time and still does whatever he wants even if it goes against your wishes? What if he no longer comes in your defense but takes the road of least resistance? What if his heart grew cold and he is insensitive about hurting you? More than Jealous we would be, but also deeply hurt. What we spend more time with is our God. Even if most of our days are consumed by work or being out and about, we can still include God by telling people “God bless you.” Something we hardly hear these days. When God said be courages and of good cheer. We are basically saying what he says doesn’t matter when we are afraid to be sick by forcing masks with all the treatments available and the high survivability rate. When we lose hope, we are no longer believing God can, God is hope or he loves us and wants what is best for us. When he says don’t involve yourself in any activities dealing with the dark side, we believe we know better when we celebrate Halloween. When God said be pure of thought and action, we hurt him when we do the opposite. When we reject him and his teachings we break his heart. When we love people more than God and believe what others say rather than the word of God, or worry about what people think rather than what is right by God, we fail to put him first. When we don’t expose what is evil, do our part or stand up for what is right, we don’t love him how we should. It seems as if we never stopped betraying him. So Jealous I can believe at the very least. Nonetheless, God still forgives, loves us and has not given up on us. that is perfect. #GodisTheCure #InspiredByTheHolyGhost #Godisgood 10/29/31 😌❤️🙏

Oh how grateful we are for God

#MercifulPouringGraceNot only are his promises comforting but his word lifesaving. That guides us to live better and love best. We believe loved ones even when the enemy uses doubt to impede because God says it is love, 1 Corinthians 13:7. We don’t loose hope in the midst of great trials, endure and bear everything that comes our way, because we love God even more so and most importantly we believe God above ourselves, anyone or anything. We are continuously thorough and strive for excellence in all we do because just as God’s love is constant, he says be consistent, be perfect as my father is and sloth is a sin of which we do not want to offend him. We resist the temptation to get upset, because God says be slow to anger. It only causes division and God promotes unity. We are kind and gentle in accordance with the Holy Spirit. We are not vindictive because God says vengeance is mine. We learn to let God because he says I will fight for you. We take the humble approach because Jesus was the greatest example and pride destroys. We make ourselves last because God said make me first. We don’t Judge because God says not to do it and he will do it for us. We become obedient to God in everything, not our flesh to be in conformity with the Lord, our God, whom we love above all things and it leads to holiness since he calls everyone to be saints. Doing the right thing always trumps being right and God gives us wisdom in knowing what we should do. Never feeling empty as God completes us daily. Couldn’t be lonely with God always be our side. We don’t get fooled by Satan’s lies when discovering God’s truth. Sadness cannot overwhelm as God’s peace is happiness and a relationship with him is bliss. #GodisTheCure #InspiredByTheHolyGhost #Godisgood 10/28/21 😌❤️🙏
