A Self-Published Author’s Rant, Vol. 2
Have you ever had something been stolen from you? Do you actually know what that feels like? The violation… The frustration… The disgust…
I had something been stolen from me. Something extremely precious. And I only found out about it last night.
Somebody had stolen my book and had been sharing it on a website for pirated books for the past few weeks.

Hello awesome nerds and happy Thursday everyone.
It feels hard for me to express exactly what happened over the past few hours. Long story short though, last night I found out that an unauthorised share/copy of my book had been uploaded on a quite suspicious, fishy website, where people could (and I honestly hope they can’t anymore) download the book for free.
Isn’t it enough that once every few months I, personally, share my book via Amazon for free? Did those people feel such an extreme need to do something illegal? Did they feel proud of themselves for stealing my intellectual property and share it like that, without my consent?
G! For the love of God!
Why do people need to do stuff like that? Can’t they just sit down and write their stories if that’s what they want to do? Do they have to steal MY BOOK?
Naturally, I have already contacted Amazon, Google and Twitter (where the link was initially found) and I do hope that they are going to resolve this issue SOON!
If you guys want to support and help me, make sure you check the link I shared on my Twitter account and report this particular tweet. The more people that share and report this, the sooner this incident will be resolved.
You can also support me by following that link and actually buying the book. As I’ve mentioned in my last rant, being a self-published author gives you certain freedoms, but it also means you have way more responsibilities and you need to fight HARD to protect your work, your stories, your intellectual property.
So, I won’t let, under any circumstances, a fraud to come and STEAL my hard work!

I honestly didn’t want for this to happen and I hope this will never happen again.
But as mentioned above, in order for this to be resolved as quickly as possible, make sure you report the tweet AND buy the book from Amazon (on Paperback or Kindle form).
Thank you all so very much for coming here once again. It truly means the world to me and I want you to know that I most certainly don’t take your presence here for granted.

BOOK REVIEW: Bloodlines (Bloodlines, #1), by Richelle Mead ~ The PERFECT summer read! *SPOILERS & DISCUSSION*
~ Bloodlines (Bloodlines, #1), by Richelle Mead

Hello, hello awesome nerds and happy Monday everyone!
I hope you’re all safe and healthy, I hope you had a phenomenal weekend and I hope you stick around because OH MY GOSH, I can’t wait to share with y’all my thoughts and feelings about this amazing book!
I’m talking about none other than Bloodlines, by Richelle Mead, the first book in the spin-off series of the Vampire Academy.
For those of you who don’t know, Vampire Academy is one of my all-time-favourite series, it is the reason why I managed to get out of my reading slump back in 2017 (if I remember correctly), and it is the reason why after reading these six books, my boyfriend standards went extremely high. And how couldn’t they, considering that Dimitri Belikov is the ULTIMATE book boyfriend!
