Back From the Dead
At last, news on the Boiling Seas! In an auspicious and unexpected set of circumstances, the void finally shouted back – James, my friend and cover illustrator for the Boiling Seas, is not only alive but working on the artwork!
So, tentatively, the book should be ready for uploading to Amazon within a few weeks…

New Year Update
Happy New Year! Not all that much news, I’m afraid.
I’ve just submitted my entry for the 2019 Publisher’s Prize (at the eleventh hour!), which is a good start to the year. Watch this space for updates – whether or not it’s accepted, it’ll be posted here eventually.
Currently I’m working on a very strange piece that has spiralled into something much larger than I originally intended. It’s sort of a reimagining of part of Lucian’s True History – so it’s really weird, but a lot of fun to write!
As for the Boiling Seas, it is coming, honest – I’m just waiting for the cover art to be finished, and as soon as that’s done it’ll be straight on Amazon for everyone to read.

Publisher’s Prize 2019
To my pleasant surprise I am once again eligible to enter the UCL Publisher’s Prize! (Despite having left university, nobody tell them.)
Apparently all I have to do is write the revolution…
