Zoltán Boldizsár Simon is assistant professor at Leiden University and research fellow at Bielefeld University. He has written extensively on the theory and philosophy of history and on the challenges posed by technology and the Anthropocene for journals ranging from History and Theory and the European Journal of Social Theory to the Anthropocene Review and the History of the Human Sciences. He's the author of two books: History in Times of Unprecedented Change (Bloomsbury, 2019), and The Epochal Event (Palgrave, 2020).
