Daily Drawing: Elephant 16

Astro Elephant!
I hadn’t drawn anything outer space-y in a while. Now I have.

Daily Drawing: Elephant 3

I didn’t really have a plan when I began this one. I guess this is some sort of circus thing? Maybe? What do you think?

Daily Drawing: Elephant 2

They say an elephant never forgets, but that’s partially because they don’t know much to begin with.

Daily Drawing: Elephant 1

Happy New Year! It’s 2018! Can you believe it? Where does the time go?
It’s a new year and a new monthly theme for my daily drawings. I decided to repeat my first ever daily drawing theme from 2015: Elephants. These pachyderms should be fun.

Daily Drawing 2017 Year in Review
As you know, I decided to draw and post a small ink drawing every weekday of 2017. Now the year has come to an end and I have completed 260 illustrations. The graphic up above shows all of them together. (Click on the image to see it somewhat bigger.) And I never missed a day. There were a few days where I barely squeaked by and posted late in the evening, but I always got something posted. I think that’s pretty impressive.
Some of the drawings are favorites of mine and wound up in my portfolio. Others are just kinda OK. But I enjoyed it and I think my drawing skills are sharper because of this practice.
So now what? I did the daily drawing in 2015 and took 2016 off from regular posting. But I think I’m going to continue on into 2018. See you on Monday in a new year with a new drawing. This should be fun.

Daily Drawing: Kids 21

I’m going to end the month the way I began it, with a baby. Consider this the new year’s baby a little early.
I hope you enjoyed these daily drawings all year. I plan on continuing them in 2018.
