Busy Sunday

With the announcement of my Savage Wolverine project at Marvel, things have kicked into high gear. On top of my Wolverine book, I’m putting the finishing touches on my art book, Women Book 2, and dealing with couple of side projects.

This is what my drawing desk looks like right now.

Hopefully, I can finish 2 out of the 4 things on my plate before I leave for Dallas Comic-Con next weekend.

Wolverine #1 Cover and Sneak Peek

YES! Marvel just announced this week that I’ll be writing and drawing the new rebooted Wolverine ongoing series starting January, for their Marvel NOW program. Here’s the colored cover for issue #1 by my Marvel colorist, Jason Keith, in its entirety. Also here’s couple of panels from the first issue.

I’m having a blast writing and drawing one of my favorite characters in the Marvel universe, Wolverine! AND Shanna the She-Devil, the character that made my career at Marvel. It’s been a joy ride from start to finish. Big thanks to my main man, Axel Alonso, for believing in me and giving me this opportunity. Thanks big guy. I hope all the enjoyment and love I’m putting into these characters translate onto the paper.

Convention News:

No, I will not be attending New York Comic-Con this weekend. Sorry, fans.

However, I will be attending Dallas Comic-Con on October 19 - 21, next week.
