Author Talk on “Susanna’s Midnight Ride”
Huzzah! Welcome to my book talk on “Susanna’s Midnight Ride: The Girl Who Won the Revolutionary War” at the Virginia War Memorial on May 11, 2020. There’s a discussion of the historical context of this true story set in May 1781 in Virginia as well as the crucial role that women played throughout the Revolutionary War. In addition, I discuss my novel-in-progress, “Dolley Madison & the War of 1812: America’s First Lady.” The release date is December 2020. It is about an hour long. Enjoy!
