i cant seem to purchase a touch of darkness on kindle. has any of your other readers have this problem?

They have, unfortunately. Do you live outside the U.S.? If you do, others have gone to the U.S. Amazon site to download the book. I am not sure why this has been difficult for so many.

Let me know if that works!

A Touch of Darkness - CHAPTER XX -...

A Touch of Darkness - CHAPTER XX - ELYSIUM

https://my.w.tt/r2mW2PYreZ

Persephone is the Goddess of Spring by title only. The truth is, since she was a little girl, flowers have shriveled at her touch. After moving to New Athens, she hopes to lead an unassuming life disguised as a mortal journalist.
Hades, God of the Dead, has built a gambling empire in the mortal world and his favorite bets are rumored to be impossible.
After a chance encounter with Hades, Persephone finds herself in a contract with the God of the Dead and the terms are impossible: Persephone must create life in the Underworld or lose her freedom forever.
The bet does more than expose Persephone’s failure as a Goddess, however. As she struggles to sow the seeds of her freedom, love for the God of the Dead grows-and it’s forbidden.

“Don’t make it sound gross, Apollo,” Persephone said, rolling her eyes.

“Gross?”

“Everything that comes out of your mouth sounds like a sexual innuendo.”

“Does not!”

“Does too.”

“Enough!”

Hades voice cracked like a whip, and when Persephone looked at him, she saw fire in his eyes. She had never feared Hades before, but right now, it vibrated down her spine.

“If you are no longer in need of my goddess, I would like a word with her. Alone.”

“She’s all yours,” Apollo said, who had the good sense to vanish immediately.
