Remembering Paul

There’s one Grey that I would so enjoy meeting and ask a thousand questions. I watched the movie when it came out, and it happened to play on television a few days ago. I thought, why not do a review about a cool, friendly alien!

The Original Summary

“For the past 60 years, a wisecracking alien named Paul, voiced by has resided at a top-secret military base in America’s UFO heartland.

[image error]Paul — 2011

When Paul decides he has had enough of Earth, he escapes from the compound and hops on the first handy vehicle—a rented RV manned by two British sci-fi nerds named Graeme, played by and Clive, . With federal agents and the father of an accidental kidnap victim on their tail, the two hatches a crazy plan to help Paul return to his spaceship.” — Google

It’s Probing Time!

It was in 2011 that the movie Paul hit the theaters. When I saw those big alien eyes, I melted and needed to see the movie. I’m also a fan of , so I couldn’t wait to watch that comedy.

If you’re a nerd, of course, Paul can speak to you. Not because of the alien factor, but all the nerdy references and quotes throughout the entire movie. It is a pure nerd/geek adventure filled with characters you fall for right from the beginning.

[image error]Paul — 2011

When I was in school, the Grey alien image was quite popular. There were shirts, hoodies, baseball caps and just everything you could think of and it was cool to wear those clothes. The X Files was on television, and so was Stargate SG-1. I mean, watching that movie brought me back to a cute time of my life where my nerdiness came out and forged me.

“I think we can all learn a lesson from this. Be yourself, speak from the heart, some shit like that.”

Paul, 2011

Also, Paul settled it. There is nothing a Grey would be interested to know by going through anyone’s anus. So, everybody can relax. Haha!

The Adventure of a Lifetime

The story was an excellent idea of and right from the beginning I felt pulled in the universe of and As a nerd I could so easily relate and so did my hubby. It does come out as a “cute comedy,” and it’s perfect! It’s an entertaining, engrossing and just enough referencing to iconic science-fiction movies.

[image error]Paul — 2011

What is fascinating, is how and was capable of creating such realistic characters and reactions to what is happening to them throughout the entire movie. Yes, of course, there are exaggerations, but all in all the leading quartet is believable. Also, yes, I include Paul because he fitted the story perfectly.

[image error]Paul — 2011

The FBI, a secret woman, a twisted ending when all comes to an end, it ended in a good way. A great ending to one of my favorites “cute sci-fi” movies. I like to watch Paul to entertain me and when I need a light movie to watch.

Bagels & Coffee

So, in the end, I give Paul an excellent solid 7.5/10. I find the movie refreshing, funny, nerdy and just the right amount of cuteness in Paul’s eyes. Haha! Seriously, how can one not like this alien! I recommend this movie, and even though it released eight years ago, it still holds today, and everything is just as impressive as it was.

[image error]Paul — 2011

“It’s not like I set my phaser to faint!”

Paul, 2011

There’s my first movie review for Space-Time Magazine. You might notice that my taste is strange as I like a variety of different sci-fi genre. Paul is one of them. I do enjoy light sci-fi, and not many movies in this style are out there.

Let me know your thoughts!

Star Wars Republic Commando The Review by Edward Hale

Well, folks, here it is, another review for all our hungry subscribers, this time, I am reviewing the newly released Star Wars Republic Commando for the Xbox One, available on your Xbox Game-pass for free.

Before the Online Sales

The Star Wars Republic Commando title was initially released on the original Xbox back in 2005 and a Microsoft exclusive at that, the second of my reviews as of late to be an Xbox exclusive.

It happened before games decided they needed to be online to make sales. This title was a solo game, allowing you to take control of a squad of elite Clone Commandos and battle your way through numerous battles of the Clone Wars from the Star Wars franchise.

[image error]Star Wars Republic Commando

This is one of the instances of a game developer seeing what was going on in other media and deciding to expand upon it, in a good way. It occurred back when the Star Wars franchise wasn’t booming on your mobile device or thrown to the micro-transaction wolves back when these games were good.

The Game

Let’s look at the time frame for a moment, in a matter of 10 years; we had some of the best Star Wars games ever with the likes of Knights of the Old Republic, this game and the Force Unleashed series which debuted on the Xbox 360. It was a good time to be a Star Wars fan, especially if you were a gamer.

All right, so jumping into this review, let’s start with the gameplay. This game is your typical squad-based shooter, allowing you to control all of Delta squad to reach your objectives. You battle many creatures from the movies, as well as the Droid army.

[image error]Star Wars Republic Commando

The play happens in the heyday of shooters, meaning they didn’t just reward you for booting the game up, no; your progress’ earning is by your team’s blood, sweat, and tears. It wasn’t an easy game by any means, and it made it all the more worth your time.

You had to get better, or you wouldn’t progress, period. Yes, it had its various difficulty levels, but even on easy, you were fighting through your enemies tooth and nail.

Disney’s Delta Squad

The story is pretty good too. You start the game as an infant in the Clone Tanks. You hear someone talking about how you and your “brothers” are special, that you are to be their greatest secret weapon against the Separatists forces.

You are the leader of Delta Squad, and you and your “brothers” are all parts of a whole. While it’s been a while since I have played this, I do remember the story being awesome, so much so that Disney added it’s canon to the Clone Wars animated series, even having members of Delta Squad show up in the show on more than one occasion.

[image error]Star Wars Republic Commando

Disney has seen the responses fans have had for this game, as well as others at the time, and brought them into the fold after they purchased the Star Wars franchise.

They saw what all of us saw, that these games added to the whole picture in so many ways, made you adore the characters they had created as much as anyone you had loved in the films.

Snatch This Game Up

I’m not going to drag out this review any longer than necessary, but I am going to say this much. If you’re a Star Wars fan and you own an Xbox One, you owe it to yourself to snatch this game up.

It’s free, what more do I need to say? It’s a fantastic shooter, an amazing Star Wars game, and above all, worth your time. So, do yourself a favor and check it out.

[image error]Star Wars Republic Commando

I have plenty more reviews coming your way, plenty more Star Wars, and even some Star Trek sprinkled in for good measure.

So, two excellent reviews to start, and no telling where I could go for future reviews, only one way to know for sure, and that’s to tune in next time. So, until next time folks, see you in the games.

Space-Time Interviewed, Author Eileen Troemel

GALAXY: Milky Way, PLANET: Earth, SPECIES: Humanoid. OCCUPATION: Author, GENRE: Sci-Fi…

IDENTIFICATION OF HUMANOID: Eileen Troemel

Writing has been a love of mine since the 3rd grade when one of our assignments was to write a story. I remember spending much time writing silly things about Flora’s Flowers and other similar things.

I don’t remember a time I didn’t love to read. I may have been born with a book in my hands – or maybe I just read a lot because all of my family does. One of my favorite childhood memories involves climbing into a red maple tree on our family farm to read a book on a hot summer day.

[image error]Author and Artist Eileen Troemel

I’m a farm girl, proud of it and miss farming as my parents sold out of farming when my father’s health failed. I grew up working hard, reading, writing and creating.

I had my kids young and kept writing until I had three kids under five. Then they got older, and I found myself longing for something and rediscovered writing. I started with writing poetry – some awful and some not awful. I moved into writing essays, articles, and short stories.

BUY EILEEN TROEMEL NOVELS ON AMAZON!

My first novel, a romance, I started in the 90s. Once I got the first novel under my belt, I knew what my life needed. I’ve got a great husband and three amazing daughters who support me in my writing.

Aside from writing, I have a large extended family who annoys and amuse me. I love to research family history, crochet and read. I’ve crocheted since I was 12 and had an obsession with making things. My nieces and nephews appreciate this as they are the usual recipients of what I crochet.

SEARCH: ENQUIRY: AUTHOR INTERROGATION

ALEXA WAYNE (AW): When did you find out you would want to write novels?

EILEEN TROEMEL: I started with stories when I was eight. I don’t think I connected writing my stories with writing a book ever. I thought about journalism as a career, but it didn’t happen. Instead, I took a path which led me to kids and working, often two jobs, to make ends meet.

In my late 30s, I found I didn’t like me very much. I started journaling which included poetry and then other ideas. As time passed, I talked about writing with my oldest daughter. After her sisters were in bed, she and I would talk plot points. From there, I realized I could do this – I could write an actual novel.

AW: You mentioned your work, all set in science-fiction or cyborg settings, would you let our readers know why you are attracted to that genre?

EILEEN TROEMEL: One of my earliest memories is my father staying in the house to watch the moon landing. I remember how odd it was he didn’t immediately go outside to work. I guess it made me wonder about it – though I was only four so not a lot of deep thought at the time. I saw the original Star Wars movies in the theater – often.

I also watched the original Star Trek in reruns. Space offers options – lots of them. The characters don’t have to look like humans – or act like us. They can have a variety of skills different from us. There are many possibilities like stirring a pot and reaching to grabbing a handful of noodles.

Each of those noodles is an option and then putting them into some semblance of order. Science fiction is limited only by our imagination. What can I dream up this week? Will it end up being something that might occur in the future?

[image error]Rise of the Ancients by Eileen Troemel
Follow Eileen Troemel on Twitter!

More than that though, science fiction genre offers an array of sub-genres like romance, wars, paranormal, aliens, and so on. It’s a matter of putting characters in a setting which could be utterly alien to them, and the readers. I think science fiction offers flexibility and perhaps the most creativity.

AW: When writing about sci-fi, do you do research and if so, how far do you go with your research?

EILEEN TROEMEL: It depends on the story. I tend to write off the cuff, so I’m not necessarily looking for much information. I’ll start with a scene or character I want to write about, and the story develops from there. Now that doesn’t mean I don’t sit with Google at the ready. I do.

I’ve researched things like hanging, accounting departments, weapons, and a variety of other topics. I don’t tend to plan my books. They tend to come to me. This process means I don’t do much preparation for writing until the story takes me there. Research is fascinating and distracting. zOne thing I have to remember is that I don’t have 40 days to get sidetracked or distracted by one detail.

AW: What is most important to you when writing your novels?

EILEEN TROEMEL: The story. From the time the reader opens the book, I want them to be engaged. I want them to be unable to put the book down because the story makes them laugh, cry, and everything in between. The story needs to move the reader.

AW: Which authors influenced your writing in science-fiction?

EILEEN TROEMEL: Thank goodness you didn’t ask for my one favorite one – that’s an impossible question. Growing up I read Clifford the Big Red Dog books, The Witch Next Door and other things which were a little off reality.

[image error]Follow Eileen Troemel on Instagram!

As an adult, Piers Anthony, Anne McCaffrey and Patricia Wrede are three big ones – though Patricia Wrede is a little more fantasy / paranormal than science fiction. However, there were others like Slipt by Alan Dean Foster and A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle fascinated me.

AW: Which of your novels is your favorite and why is it your favorite?

EILEEN TROEMEL:This is like asking me to pick a favorite child. My Wayfarer series is probably my favorite series. Adara goes from a shy, under-confident character at the beginning of the series to a balanced strong, determined woman by the end.

For stand-alone novels, it would have to be Draconian Peace. In this novel, the Draconian people are in turmoil with the humans dealing with racial conflicts. The two things I like the most are the connection the two main characters make and the effect this has on society.

AW: Do you believe in alien visiting our world, by that I mean in abduction or close encounters of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th kind?

EILEEN TROEMEL: There’s more to our universe than we know – anything is possible. I think it would be arrogant of the humans on this earth to think we are the only sentient beings in the universe.

AW: What made you decide to be self-published?

EILEEN TROEMEL: I worked with several publishers to try to get published. Unfortunately, none of them followed through to completion. Each time this happened, I felt crushed. I tried the traditional publishing route for more than ten years. I know several authors and they were opting out of the traditional.

As more of them successfully self-published, I was mentored by them with advice and patience. Self-publishing is empowering yet tricky. You pretty much are jumping into the deep end of the pool and hoping you can swim.

You have to know the best business practices, marketing, editing, cover design, and so much more. Most important you have to know when to hire someone when you lack a particular skill. Holding my first book felt incredible. The pride and sense of accomplishment were over the top.

AW: What sets you apart from other science-fiction and cyborg authors?

EILEEN TROEMEL:In my writing, you’ll find women who are strong or learning to be in stories where personal relationships matter more than any battle.

[image error]The Wayfarer Series by Eileen Troemel

At the same time, the women, and the men, are willing to take on the battles if they are needed. I believe I offer a good story with moving events and exciting characters wrapped up in a science fiction format.

AW: What can readers look forward to from AUTHOR NAME in 2019?

EILEEN TROEMEL:I’m working on Hostile Magic, the sequel to Wild Magic, a fantasy novel, which launches the first part of this year. I’ve got a WIP about aliens coming to our world to help us after a plague.

This one has lots of twists and turns with flying transports, battles, politics, and personal connection. I worked on it for over a year, but I’m hoping to finish it this year and shift from the writing stage to production. Other than these two, I have a couple of sequels I am hoping to move from the back burner to actively work on them.

RENDERING: SATISFACTORY AND DISTINCTION

Make sure to stalk Eileen Troemel like a pro and to look up for our next author to interview!

Kilauea: Hawai’i on Fire

A volcano is a rupture in the crust of a planetary-mass object, such as Earth, that allows hot lava, volcanic ash, and gases to escape from a magma chamber below the surface. — Wikipedia

The Big Island

This week I am looking at the recent Kilauea eruption on the Big Island of Hawai’i in 2018. What is that you might ask? Kilauea is one of five volcanoes on the Big Island and is a shield volcano. Shield volcanoes rarely blow their tops like Mount St. Helens and erupt far more slowly.

If you choose to have a shield volcano in your world, you need to consider some things. What type of environment do you have it in? Nearly every planet has volcanoes, and there are many different types.

[image error]Kilauea – Hawaii

In Kilauea’s case, there have been extensive records available on the shield volcano. Pu‘u ‘Ō‘ō is a volcanic cone on Mount Kilauea and had maintained a lava pool for some years. Volcanologists first clue that something was going on was that the lava had entirely disappeared from Pu‘u ‘Ō‘ō. However, where did it go? Also, how did they know where it went?

More Evolved

Weaknesses in the ground, previous eruptions, and old magma chambers could often lead it around to where it ends up. In this case, it went to where there have been previous eruptions in the Lower East Rift Zone.

Pockets of old lava were present, and they were able to tell that it was older because of the amount of silica in it. Silica makes it thicker, “more evolved,” and the consistency of peanut butter. This event is in stark contrast to younger lava which is often the consistency of ketchup and does not have much viscosity.

They were able to track the movements of the magma via detecting where the earthquakes were at first. When those stopped moving right under Leilani Estates, they knew it had to go down or up. Cracks and sulfur discoloring the ground around them told them it was going up.

Another thing to consider is the topography of the area around your volcano. The topography determines where lava flows go, or have gone.

Another feature is a lava tube. Lava tubes require boiling lava to maintain and can be over thirty miles long—sometimes flowing months or years before they run out of lava then forming caves for your heroes to explore.

Breathe In

Pele’s hair is also present, which are fine strands of volcanic glass that embed themselves in nearly everything they can. They also cause serious health problems if breathed in, and require respirators to filter out. Pele’s hair can be a fatal flaw in your hero’s journey. Maybe they forget their respirator or are unaware. Only you know.

[image error]Pele’s Hair – Hawaii

One thing that can signal the appearance of the end of the eruption of a shield volcano, is the appearance of A’a. A’a is rough and extremely jagged. It’s the hardest lava to cut through due to its extreme density.

Many ways exist to kill a shield volcano, however, in Kilauea’s case the most prominent theory is that the ground shifted thus breaking the tube it needed to pump magma to the surface and bringing the A’a to herald the end of the eruption.

[image error]Magma

I hope this helps you flesh out your world into the rich environment you need it to be. See you next week!

Overall Orville

When Star Trek announced the arrival of their new addition to the franchise, Discovery, a new player in the game made its step in the sci-fi universe, The Orville. It happened the nerd battle.

McFarlane

It is impossible to talk about the Orville without mentioning its creator, main character and probably one of its writers too. achieved great success with its multiple animated cartoon series aimed for adults.

[image error]The Orville

He voiced quite a few characters, made a few movies, and if my memory serves me right—most of the time it doesn’t, ahem, one of his teachers told him he wouldn’t achieve success in his life or something along the same lines, that nerd proved that teacher wrong many times over.

It is no secret, is a nerd and proved it through his cartoons and references in movies. The universe of Star Trek though seemed to be a source of great inspiration to him. He reached a point in his career where I believe he thought he obtained enough notoriety to bring his touch to a sci-fi series: The Orville.

The Utopia

Stick with me, Trekkers! You can do this!

The universe of Star Trek is a vast one, spread through six series including DISCO and took over a few online gamers with their Star Trek Online. It is a universe science-fiction fans call their own and some of them instead it stays untouched.

. It is a universe science-fiction fans call their own and some of them instead it stays untouched.

Star Trek is a “Utopian” idea that Gene Roddenberry shared with the world. He showed that in his mind the idealistic world where peace is most valued, and money isn’t worth a thing can be an achievement if humankind gives it a chance. Often, the series would take place without it paying too much attention to the private lives of its crew-members or would brush it once in a while.

Now, The Orville. If we compare ’s series to Star Trek, there are so many similitudes that it isn’t worth counting them. A few I even asked myself, “Wow! How did he get the right to use that!” However, and yes, I am a huge Trekker, yet as I can enjoy DISCO, I can enjoy The Orville, just as much and have a good laugh and let me tell you why!

The Realistic Sarcastic

The Orville captures the essence of Star Trek, i.e., its overall form with the Union equalling the Federation, the Krill species reminiscent of the old battle between the Klingons and the Federation, among other references. Even the look of the ship is quite similar to Star Trek TNG as well as the uniforms and colors. I don’t think aimed for subtlety when creating his science-fiction series.

[image error]The Orville

However, what set his series apart is the “update” he gave to his Star Trek doppelganger. The characters have a more realistic personal life. The captain who’s divorced because his wife cheated on him ends up having her as his first officer: the nerd pilot who never gets the girl, the smooth engineer who has thousands of one-night stand. Then you have the married alien with a kid and the doctor who’s a single mother with two young sons and the android who tries to understand human behavior.

To me, it’s like “The Office” but in space. Everyone has a family or personal life. It is part of the job because what else would one talk about? Yes, there are rumors, gossips, and people talking behind people’s back. That is life. However, at the end of the day on the Orville, everyone has each other’s back.

[image error]The Orville

Bottom line, The Orville is using its crew’s personal lives to advance stories without cutting out too much of each adventure they endeavor. The focus is different than Star Trek but quite adequate for the humor and lightness of the show.

DISCO vs. Orville

Yes, it was a thing. When Star Trek Discovery launched, I was one of The Geek Initiative’s writers to cover the series. I didn’t want The Orville because I wasn’t a fan of Family Guy. Can you believe it? I liked and his nerdiness, I have great respect for his artistic skills, but I couldn’t stand his cartoon, and that made me fear his vision for The Orville.

[image error]The Orville

This anecdote aside, I took it quite seriously when reviewing DISCO and I thought I would dislike it because I was hoping the show would happen in the future, not before The Original Series yet after Enterprise. However, I watched it with an open mind and enjoyed the first season. The cutting edge look of the show updated the overall look of Star Trek attracting new fans to the already vast existing fandom. The audacity the creative team tested with the Klingons was impressive, and people complained.

[image error]Star Trek Discovery – CBS All Access

Meanwhile, The Orville arrived on television. When my article published on TGI, I read a few comments of my peers about both shows. People who watched the two-hour premiere of Star Trek Discovery spat on the show and said The Orville at least kept the essence of Star Trek. Others harshly critiqued ’s attempt at bringing a mirror version of most likely one of his favorite series.

Just Sit & Watch

I guess many fans are quick to judge when people try to bring their touch to a beloved series or franchise. However, I find both deserve a watch, and both deserve to be appreciated.

Yes, DISCO went more action, more drama direction while The Orville kept it more straightforward and lighter. Both are part of my schedule, and I enjoy the artistic input of both shows. We’re nerds, let’s not bully anyone and enjoy where the journey takes us.

Project Artichoke

Project ARTICHOKE was a CIA project that researched interrogation methods and arose from Project MKULTRA on August 20, 1951 — Wikipedia

CIA not at the movies

When we think of the CIA, Central Intelligence Agency, we may envision Jason Bourne or Ethan Hunt. Running around the world, saving lives, and fighting baddies in nice choreographed fight scenes. For me, it looks cool as hell. Serving my country, traveling, and spying, but being a field agent is not as clear cut as the film industry portrays it.

There is a darker side to the CIA. The CIA tasks are gathering, processing, and analyzing national information from around the world, primarily through the use of human intelligence—HUMINT.

Relying on Intelligence

The CIA relies heavily on its human intelligence. What does this mean? The CIA heavily relies on information through human sources. These National Clandestine Service, NCS, are liable for the collection of HUMINT. These are the guys responsible for Jason Bourne and Ethan Hunt.

Many of these NCS officers need to understand human nature. How can anyone try to understand human nature? Well these NCS officials have to if they want to be successful. It takes years of practice and a certain emotional intelligence to be successful at reading people and all its complexities.

Now imagine if you could extrapolate information through mind control.
The CIA has done many experiments’ like these in the past like Project MKUltra. These are dark psychological experiment’s; these types of experiments brutalize the victims and don’t follow any ethical or medical guidelines. One such testing was Project Artichoke.

PROJECT ARTICHOKE

Project Artichoke was the study of interrogation methods through hypnosis, forced morphine addiction, and subsequent forced withdrawal, and the use of other chemicals including LSD, to produce amnesia and other vulnerable states in subjects.

The sole purpose of this project was to see if the CIA could control an individual through a series of experiment’s labeled above and eventually be a willing member to the point he or she would go against fundamental laws of nature.

This project ran from the ’50s and ended in the mid-’60s. I believe this Project Artichoke and Project MKUltra helped the CIA define some of the interrogation methods we now see used in Guantanamo Bay. Some of the released information says the found success with “total isolation” as an operational tool of potential.

Military Experiments

They conducted these experiments on military members. It doesn’t specify what they conducted on them, but you can imagine. Alternatively, how they got these six members, voluntarily or involuntarily? Did they know what this experiment meant? Alternatively, did they dump these six people in a dark hole somewhere?

We now know what isolation does to people, from inmates stuck in isolation, but there are varying degrees of isolation. For example, there is an isolation method called “The White Room,” where subjects are isolated in a white room, wear white clothes, and eat from white food from white plates. They are also sensory deprived.

They also used certain drugs to try to control people. Some of these drugs were muscle relaxers, psychotic medicine, drugs used in treatments for Parkinson’s, stimulants, tranquilizers, and two drugs couldn’t be identified previously used in Project MKUltra.

From the national security archive, it doesn’t explain or detail what they did or how, but for those who have seen or experienced addiction, you can only imagine how lethal these administrations of drugs by professionals could have done to whomever these volunteers were.

Only a few references carry little detail. So, we don’t know if a combination of drugs and isolation helped to control subjects better.

Hypnosis

Another use was hypnosis. This detail is vague too. It says they experimented with volunteer staff, but what type of hypnosis? What did they hypnotize these people to do? Was it successful? Did the volunteers know when the hypnosis ended or began?

The documents state there was intense interest but would be of little use in operational matters but could help as a tool in offensive or defensive aid. They also used mechanical means in this experiment with hypnosis.
These types of experiments are dark.

All About Control

I doubt any of these test subjects realized the extent this type of manipulation had on them; there is no follow up. I don’t doubt the CIA is still perfecting and experimenting on unwilling test subjects.

It would be ideal to have mind control over a person, to do your bidding in another country, to cause chaos and disorder. Do I believe the United States and other countries have reached this level of mind control, probably?

Space Time Interviewed Xeno, an Alien Witness

Space Time Magazine is a team of people curious about space science, sci-fi but also space related occurrences that most “science people” refuse to go… ufology. We do not judge anyone, we embrace experiences. This week, we interviewed Xeno from Québec, Canada.

THE INTRODUCTION

I am Xeno, and I was born in the French province of Québec in the northern country of Canada. I like to entertain and make people happy or just having a better day. My first language is French, but I have learned English pretty well.

I had no interest in the ufology subject until September 2014 when I remembered an encounter with nonhuman entities on the internet that used video games to interfere with the population.

They called themselves Reptilians.

I then discovered the reality of mind control technologies by participating in its development. I became of interest to some higher alien authority which joined the meeting letting me know I was, in fact, one of them.

However, they said to not be the UFO type of aliens we know. They were members of the Cosmic Family. Joining the conversation at that point were my cosmic parents telling me who I truly was and that I simply didn’t remember.

After reaching out to many medias out there and suffering multiple rejections. I felt like no one would believe me and that it could damage my every day life.

It took years for me to find a place because there were none until Aliendisc.net Disclosure Network. I wrote over eighteen hundreds posts about my situation. I told them my story. I finally felt good being the alien that I am. This is the most wonderful thing that happened to me. Also, I don’t care if it isn’t even real. Because I believed in myself and who I was, I have my wife and she gave me the most beautiful son I could have wished for my entirely life.

Note that I had multiple medial examinations and nothing seems to be wrong with me. I am clear. People called me crazy, insane, psychotic even when I was not. I have the medical papers proving that I am okay.

THE INTERVIEW

ALEXA WAYNE (AW): Would you be comfortable explaining what type of experience you’ve encountered?

XENO QC: No because I am scared not to be up for consideration.

AW: Often, people go through hypnosis to remember their experiences. Were those encounters voluntarily suppressed, imposed or left to be remembered?

XENO QC: The memories went through no suppression but a blockage. It was through the removal of access to consciousness. I asked to have my memories blocked and not come back to me for half the duration of the project.

AW: Do you believe to know which type or species of extra-terrestrials you’ve encountered?

XENO QC: No I do not.

“They called themselves Reptilians.” However, that is a name and it can mean that they might be a species of a different name or kind.

AW: Was it your personal experience that had you join the Google #1 UFO Forum, Aliendisc.net?

XENO QC: Yes, because this network is the future of ufology and paranormal communication platform.

AW: How do you feel toward people who are giving a bad reputation to those who encountered out of this world experiences?

XENO QC: I understand their point of view for their behaviour.

I had no interest in the ufology subject until September 2014 when I remembered an encounter with nonhuman entities on the internet that used video games to interfere with the population.

XENO QC

AW: Do you feel isolated in your everyday life?

XENO QC: Sometimes I wish I could go with them.

I, Alexa Wayne, believe that XENO QC referred to the Reptilians he spoke to and wish that he could sometimes be with them.

AW: Before your encounters, were you a believer in extra-terrestrials or abductee or contactee stories?

XENO QC: I could if I had heard about it, but I was busy with something else at the time.

AW: Do you believe extra-terrestrials have a type of people they wish to make contact with or abduct?

XENO QC: Yes.

AW: Do you believe ufology should be taken more seriously to help people?

XENO QC: Yes.

AW: What would you like to let our readers know about alien encounters?

XENO QC: Think about safety and diplomacy.

CONCLUSION

After reading this interview, I can tell that whatever XENO QC went through, did affect him. His word choice, his syntaxes and sometimes elaborated versus shortened answers has me believe that what he lived, to him, was real.

What is always intriguing is how we react and decide if we believe the story or not without physical evidence. A science mind can have a hard time, however, because of personal experiences, I am thankful for the platform of Aliendisc.net.

A Little About A. Wayne

Alexa Wayne, the CEO of Space-Time Magazine and sci-fi horror author, is a proud introvert. She believes it to be an asset for someone who studies, research and write all day long and night. She likes to be alone with her American Cocker, Carey by her side and read about the latest discoveries in space.

A. Wayne studied graphic and web design, studied 3D Animation and Sequential Art with Comics Experience. She added to her study Digital Painting, Storytelling, Proofreading & Editing, Self-Publishing, Social Marketing, Blog Business, and Novel Writing.

However, due to her fascination with space and science fiction, Alexa Wayne decided to add Ufology to her arsenal and is now studying Astronomy.

The Inspiration

A. Wayne considers herself a complete nerd. Trekker and proud, she also enjoyed Stargate SG-1Battlestar Galactica’s reboot, RoboCop, the Alien franchise, FarscapeFirefly, and many more. However, the movie that changed her forever remains one that she considers to be underrated, the 1997 movie of Event Horizon.

Gathering her passion, research, and creativity, she came up with two science-fiction series from the same fictional universe. UNFORGIVEN — Captain Caldwell came up in 30th June 2018. The release of the sequel is a surprise announcement to come.

SUMMARY

UNFORGIVEN — Captain Caldwell

When Colonel Locklear was turned on, with the DNA of whom he thought were his Native Americans parents, he became the first and only Type 4 Android. However, being a cybernetic being in the twenty-sixth century was illegal on Earth.

Luckily for him, Mrs. Borg found him and spared him the dreadful future of any AI sentient being. Mrs. Borg ruled over Louisiana and owned the freedom of many, including his and possessed what he first came to Earth to save but would she let him have him?

Welcome to the 26th Century.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

The Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic series, often abbreviated as KotOR, is a RPG video game series and subsequent comic book series based on the fictional universe of Star Wars by George Lucas. THE REVIEW, by our Star Wars and Video Game Expert, Vader Hale!

Released Back When

What better way to kick off the game review section of our little magazine than with an instant classic, something that almost every gamer/Star Wars fan can agree on and give their approving nod to, yes, that’s right, Bioware’s classic Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic.

Released back in 2003 on the original Xbox, Bioware delivered one of the single most amazing Star Wars games ever made. This game was an entire universe at your fingers, and for what seemed like the first time, you controlled how your destiny would play out, be it for the good or bad.

[image error]Star Wars – Knights of the Old Republic

This formula is now present in so many other series, specifically another of Bioware’s titles, Mass Effect. You chose how you spoke to the characters, your actions determined if you rose in the ranks of the Jedi order or where seduced by the Darkside.

I was fortunate enough to have played this game in a time when the internet was in its infancy. There were no spoilers for this game until months after its release in whatever gaming magazine you happened to be picking up, as long as it covered Xbox games that are.

That’s right. When this bad boy released, it was an Xbox exclusive. This launch was a massive blow to the PlayStation elitists of old, those who would never dream of picking up Microsoft’s fledgling console.

The Twist

If you wanted to enjoy this masterpiece, you had to own an Xbox. Now, ported to PC and even your phones, but, never has it been released on a console that is owned by Sony or Nintendo. I can admit the day we got our Xbox One, I bought both of these games, the first and second games for 20 bucks, and never look back.

All right, so you’ve listened to me talk up Bioware’s game, and how it was an Xbox exclusive, and how it allowed you to choose your destiny, but you’re probably asking what the story was. What about the characters and how do they fit into the overall scheme of things in the vast universe that is Star Wars? Well, I’m going to tell you.

[image error]Star Wars – Knights of the Old Republic

So, unless you’ve lived under a rock your whole life or have absolutely no love for Star Wars or Xbox, then you probably heard that this game has a huge twist at the end of it, one of the first of its kind for its time. See, you start the game as an unnamed character, giving the player the ability to customize your character completely.

A Prequel to a Story

Also, before you ask, there is no Skywalker’s here; this game takes place 1000 years before A New Hope. You quickly are met with lore that Bioware had created, learning of the things that had been going on at the time. You learn of the two Sith Lords of the time, Darth Revan and Darth Malak, but, for the duration of the story you don’t see Revan, you only hear about the things he has done, and how he and Malak almost brought the Universe to an end.

[image error]Star Wars – Knights of the Old Republic

Well, I’m am going to “spoil” this one for you. You are Revan. You were injured and lost your memories, the Jedi Council of the time decided to see if you could regain your former glory or if you would fall to the Darkside once more.

See, this was the twist, you didn’t find out until near the end of the game, no matter your choices, you were always Revan. Just so you know, if you chose the Jedi, there is an appropriate ending for it, as well as being seduced by the Darkside. I can be the first to say that I completed both endings, and boy was it a journey.

Some RPG and a Little Disney

Knights of the Old Republic is a roleplaying game first and foremost. You build your skills. You force powers. You even build your lightsaber. By the end of it, you are the Jedi/Sith you always wanted to be. It is broad enough to have the seasoned vets coming back for more time and again.

I have played through it a total of three times so far, namely because I had found things that I had missed on my first and second play-through.

[image error]Star Wars – Knights of the Old Republic

On a quick side note, this game and its lore added to actual Disney canon in the past few years, and fans rejoiced. This addition was a dream of fans since the game initially released, and finally, Disney listened.

Now, let me tell you another little secret before I close this review. If you have Game-pass on your Xbox One, this title is free. If you want to play its sequel, Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords, it cost 10 bucks.

A Classic

However, let’s be serious a second here, one game for free giving you over 40 hours of play time on one play-through, and another game with equal play time for 10 bucks, that sounds like a deal to me.

All right, so I usually give you my score, but I’m not going to do that here. No, this is a classic. It’s already one of the greatest Star Wars games of all time, so, me telling you more of the same isn’t going to solve anything.

[image error]Star Wars – Knights of the Old Republic

No, I’m just going to tell you that this is a must own for Xbox One owners and fans of Star Wars in general. I have it on our console, and for that reason alone, I can never get rid of that Xbox One.

So, there it is, I could drop 1000 words here on how amazing this title is, 1000 more, however, I’m going to draw this review to a close. This video game is a title worth your time, so, check it out.

Until next time folks, see you in the game.
