Say what now?
As a brand new indie author and a first-time blogger, as in this is my first blog post ever, I had no idea what to write. As an avid reader, I've visited numerous established author pages and sites, but I've never seen one in its infancy. How did they get started? What were their first posts like? I don't know how others did it, but I'm going to start with this: Thank you. To each and every one of you who read my book. When I started writing, I did it as an escape. With a little encouragement, I worked up the nerve to self-publish a book. And let me just say, I was terrified. I clicked the publish button, slammed my computer closed, and ran into the bathroom to scream while jumping up and down like a silly girl who just drunk texted her crush. My goal was to sell 10 books, only 10 books. Ever. So, when I surpassed that on day one, I was ecstatic. And I've gone to bed every day since with a smile on my face. From the bottom of my heart, Thank You!
