It takes a village of folks...
Fallen Angel: A Kat Livingston, Willow Woods Mystery
It takes a village of folks to make up the characters of a cozy mystery. In my first book, Fallen Angel

readers are given a lot of character delineation to help familiarize them with the intelligent and ambitious heroine, Kat Livingston. Family, friends and co-workers are also introduced. And let’s not forget the town of Willow Woods itself. A character in it’s own right, “inspired” by the historical landmark village of Riverside just outside of Chicago.
It’s an amazing process this mind-journey that happens to writers. Deep into my third draft of Book Two, Birds of A Feather, the regular players are taking on a life of their own as they evolve. They seemingly take over, and my fingers virtually fly across the keyboard on their own!
