Editing Update – The Tenth House

The editing process.

I thought I’d write another post since it’s been too long.  I’m still getting used to the blogging thing, and I’m working to get better at it.  Baby steps.

Writing my first novel has been a learning experience.  I’m already fighting the internal battle of just publish it versus editing it forever.  I certainly want to give it every chance of survival.

When looking for my first editor, I had no idea what I was getting into.

Publishing Update – The Tenth House

Allow me to start with a story.  My story.

I’ve always loved stories.  There’s no better escape.  No better way to reach the depths of your imagination.  No better way to travel to places both far away and fantasy.  I picked up books when I was young.  My dad always told me that I could have any book I wanted as I long as I read them.  And boy did I.  Every week after piano lessons, Mom and I would do some shopping, and every week I was picking up 2 or 3 new books because I’d already finished the ones that I had.
