凱薩琳·艾登

生於美國德州奧斯丁，曾在莫斯科短居兩年。她於明德學院主修法國和俄國文學，取得學士學位後搬到夏威夷茂宜島，做過各式各樣千奇百怪的工作，包括騎馬之旅導遊、國際旅客私人導遊、賣可麗餅和撰寫研究計畫等等。在島上生活一年後，飛到法國布里昂松一所高中教授英文一年。九個月後，重回茂宜島。目前她所有家當都收在一個箱子或旅行袋裡，生活則是結合了她最愛的兩件事：旅行和塗塗寫寫。現在住在佛州。
