Chloe Cuthbert's Blog

Welcome, have a seat, bring some tea!
Hello everyone!
My name is Chloe Cuthbert, welcome to my blog!
I have recently published my first book, a memoir. Now, why would you be interested in the memoir of someone you've never met, someone who is not famous? That's a fantastic question. This book is for anyone, honestly, but my purpose behind writing it was to show anyone who has ever been in an abusive relationship, regardless of the type, that there is hope. That no matter how dark things seem now, or how dark they have been in the past, you can reclaim your own inner light and move forward.
It is available on Amazon in Kindle format and paperback. You can find it here:
I am currently working on my first fiction novel, that I hope to publish sometime in July or August, 2018. No title, yet, but the writing is flowing, and for that, I am thankful. It will give up its name at some point!
I have been influenced by so many amazing writers over the years. Reading is one of my passions, and I still indulge regularly. Daily, even. If you're interested in what I am reading, I have recently gone through my bookshelves here and tried to arrange them a bit better than they were. It is still a work in progress, much like my bookshelves here at home. I have added specialty shelves, one of which is "reference for my writing". Any books listed here are just that, books and/or authors who have influenced the types of stories I enjoy reading and writing the most.
One of my most recent finds, author wise, is Alexandra Sokoloff. I have no idea how I have missed her for so long, but I am so glad she came across my shelves when she did. Her Huntress/FBI series pushed me forward in my writing, fiction wise. I had been toying with an idea for quite some time, and just couldn't get it to come together. After reading that series, and others like it, the idea came together, and I've been writing like mad ever since.
Sometimes, all it takes is a push in the right direction.
Thanks for taking the time to read and I hope to see you around. Feel free to ask any questions, I'll try to answer them as quickly as possible.
xoxo-
