Learning How to Attract Your Soul-Vibe Tribe

Hey Sensational Soul!
Every week I like to give FREE Mastering Your Mindset training to help you tune into your thought patterns and how they are communicating to both your soul’s core and to the Universe. This week’s training is aimed at attracting the kind of friendships you really desire into your life. However, this can also be used for attracting ANYONE and EVERYONE who vibes with your soul because your soul’s vibe attracts your soul’s tribe. So, let’s get started!
Journal Out the Following:
1) Answer this sentence stem at least 10 times: the character traits I admire are…
2) Can I answer at least 3 people in my life who exemplify the above character traits? If yes, who are they and what traits do they embody? If not, are there any book or movie characters you can think of who embody these traits?
3) Finish this sentence stem 5 times: the character traits I admire in myself are…because…
4) Between prompts #1, #2, and #3, are there any commonalities that you notice? For example, maybe both #1 and #3 are “funny”. Or, maybe both #2 and #3 are “adventurous” and “energetic”, usually energetic people like to do adventurous things.
5) Looking over the commonalities between prompts #1, #2, and #3, how do you think these types would spend their free time? For example, a “funny” person might like to go to comedy clubs or go to funny movies. “Exciting” and “adventurous” people might like to go indoor sky-diving or off-trail bike riding. Brainstorm hobbies of the character traits you admire. There is no right or wrong answer to this, just let whatever comes to mind out onto paper or your computer document.
6) Look over the ideas you came up with for #5, are you partaking in these kinds of hobbies, yourself? Why or why not?
7) If you answered “yes” to #6, what might be keeping you from meeting others who share similar hobbies, even though you partake in them (what are you afraid of)? If you answered “no” to #6, what are you afraid of when it comes to partaking in this hobby, yourself?
8) Why do YOU think you are not meeting the type of friends you long to have in your life?
9) Now that you have confronted what you are afraid of with regards to meeting your soul’s tribe, answer this question: what is the worst that could happen if you took a chance on meeting new people in general?
10) Now that you have confronted what you are afraid of with regards to meeting your soul’s tribe, answer this question: what is the best that could happen if you took a chance on meeting new people in general?
11) Free-flow it for the next 2-3 minutes by finishing this sentence stem: I am now CHOOSING to COMMIT to being open to receiving my soul-tribe by…
12) Have you joined Facebook groups, clubs, or meetup.com groups around your hobbies and interests? Just an idea…
Be Open & Allow For It
Be OPEN to meeting new people. I know, I’m an introvert. I do understand that it can be scary at times. But I just remember that when I join a Facebook group or a club it’s because I love the hobby (itself).
So, I don’t really think about the people because I don’t want to overwhelm myself all at once. I focus on the hobby and the interest, and then people come into my sphere.
Through time by being 100% MYSELF, my soul’s vibe assembles my soul-tribe…and the others just fall away. It takes time, commitment to your end-results, and faith that you ARE meeting your soul-tribe. It’s totally happening for you! Have a wonderful weekend!

Selfishness to the Point of Scamming Others (And Why I Believe in Karma)

I remember hearing in the news about the couple who allegedly scammed the “homeless” man using the Go Fund Me method and raising over $400,000.00 in donations. I thought to myself, “People are just evil. How could they do that to anyone, especially to a man in need?” And then I see the news today and now this “homeless” man was allegedly in on it the entire time? My reaction was literally, “WHAT is WRONG with people!?”
While I did not donate to this campaign; nonetheless, I can imagine how shocked the U.S. public must be feeling right now. Betrayed, maybe a little stunned, and maybe even a bit angry. Hell, I’m feeling these things and I wasn’t even the one who was scammed.
All of us get duped, tricked, or scammed at one time or another in our lives.
My question to you:
How do you react to it when it happens?
Are you one who holds grudges? Do you get angry and seek revenge? Or, do you let it go and move on when you are the one who is betrayed?
Of course, there are varying degrees of deception. My question to you is in the general sense, how do you react and what do you choose to focus on whenever you are on the receiving end of being duped, tricked, or scammed?
Why I Believe in Karma
While that alleged Go Fund Me couple and homeless man’s scheme have deeply disturbed me, I know this is just every day behavior by souls on this planet. While sitting in my over-sized, deep purple velvety chair, I looked through my sliding glass doors at Mother Nature and started thinking about all the reasons why people behave the way they do in betraying others. And then I started thinking about all the times people betrayed me and how I responded to them.
I totally believe in karma. What you do unto others is done unto you in some form or fashion. I can count about 6 or 7 times I have been a witness to karma working its magic because of something someone chose to carry out. Also, in the past when I made a selfish decision that only benefited me karma didn’t discriminate. I didn’t fully understand how karma worked until I was in my 20’s. Then I started to understand its purpose and its cause and effect in Universal laws.
Karma can also be used to explain how the law of attraction works because in law of attraction “like attracts like”.
It’s very similar with karma. You get what you focus on, what you choose to do is a boomerang effect that comes back to you. Once I was fully able to understand how powerful karma and the law of attraction really IS in the Universe, I do NOT mess with nature. Oh no.
Yes, people may treat me badly and yes, I stand up for myself and speak the truth when it happens. But ultimately, I let karma take care of it because karma doesn’t let me down. I have faith in the Universe.
Focus
This doesn’t mean I sit around waiting for someone to treat me like crap and then laugh FOCUSING on karma. No, no, no. You get what you focus on. Yes, I get upset and I try to figure out WHY people behave the way they do to others, especially when others are only trying to HELP one another (ex: Go Fund Me).
However, I don’t obsess over the betrayal, I don’t get stomping angry, nor do I sit around plotting for the day karma seeks its justice. I can’t say I was ALWAYS this way; nevertheless, it IS the way I choose to be now because my emotions and my mindset go hand in hand. And like I’ve said before, you get what you focus on.
Nor should you think you have to be naïve either. I’m not suggesting you just turn the other cheek never again to think about it. What I’m curious about is, “how do you choose to respond when someone betrays you?”
From observing others, I find that the ones who decide not to hold grudges when they are deceived tend to live happier (and wiser) lives. Getting angry may work in the moment, but it doesn’t hold any healthy weight to it for the long-haul on your life. And little by little the angry moments start adding up within your mindset and start becoming beliefs.
Therefore, it’s so important to take time each day to work on your self-care, including your mindset. I’ll be honest, if I spent most days watching the news, I would probably be a basket-case of negativity. It’s so much easier to grab onto the negative and eat it up like Cheetos. All in all, YOU are in control of what you choose to focus on.

Choose and Decide
No, we cannot control how OTHERS choose to think and behave; but you ARE in control of how you decide to respond FOR yourself and your life. And what you CHOOSE to focus on and how you DECIDE to respond to other people’s behaviors and with your life situations is how you maintain your OWN power. This is how you maintain your alignment. This is how you maintain your happiness and success in your life. It’s not extrinsic, it’s intrinsic. It starts from WITHIN.
If you keep reacting to everything that happens around you to the point of it being your climatic focal point in your life, you are allowing yourself to be further away from your authentic happiness (your soul’s purpose). When you focus on your soul’s calling, your soul’s purpose-work, your soul’s needs, YOUR needs each day for at least 10 minutes, it helps you to remain centered, aligned, and in a clear communication with not only your soul, but also with the Universe.
And this is a good thing because the Universe is responding to you, always. Again, you get what you focus on, what you focus on expands.
Utilizing Mastering Your Mindset Journaling in Your Favor
While I will NEVER understand how some people behave so selfishly to the point of harming and betraying others, what I do understand is that karma is real. Karma exists for a reason, and I don’t mess with karma. I could never want to harm or hurt another person, but I am more mindful and aware of how I RESPOND to other people’s behaviors and my own life situations than I used to be many years ago.
And I have a lot to thank to Mastering Your Mindset journaling because it helped me to center myself and my life FROM my soul’s purpose and my soul’s calling. In addition, it really helps me in speeding up all my manifestations BECAUSE I’m using my powerful mindset energy, and I’m empowering myself each day through positive thought, positive feelings, positive actions, and being in a more positive light. Through my work, I was able to SHIFT gears with my mindset beliefs and it SHIFTED my life for the better!
What you focus on expands, you get what you focus on, and the Universe is totally helping you behind the scenes, even if you don’t realize it in the moment. So, keep going, keep taking soul-aligned, inspired actions daily, keep showing up, and keep being the total badass that you ARE in your life because YOU are in control of YOU. And let’s not forget, YOU are the creator of your own reality.

Setting Boundaries Is Healthy, No Matter Who You Upset (A Rant)

Hey Sensational Soul!
If you’re anything like me, you don’t like to upset others. In fact, harmony is more important to you than ruffling other people’s feathers.
However…
You wake up sometimes and you think to yourself, “I’m ALWAYS giving in some shape or form and people just keep taking from me! I’m so exhausted of this and I’m ready to just hide from the entire world!”
I felt this way for years, and I do mean YEARS. Then I decided I needed to examine WHY I was allowing others to take advantage of me, take me for granted, and just keep taking from me altogether.
And this is what I’ve learned:



Newsflash, you ARE human. You are NOT a robot, you are not Iron Man, and you are NOT Superman or Batman either. I hate to disappoint you…I would choose Batman; but this is beside the point.
If you are agreeing to a lot of requests by others, you are draining your energy reserve. And when you drain your energy reserve, you don’t have much energy left to take care of yourself. And when you don’t take care of yourself, you get cranky because “the vampires”, as I like to call them, keep wanting to suck your blood/energy from you. Not ALL vampires are as enjoyable to be around as Count Dracula on Sesame Street…

I’ve been there. I’ve most definitely been there. And I needed a HUGE wake-up call
Most people don’t realize their 1 or 2 requests are being multiplied by 30 or more people/situations on a daily basis. So, of course, they don’t realize that you are smiling and nodding “yes” when inside you are wishing and praying, “If only I could manifest a 20-minute nap” each day. This brings me to this question:
Are you getting enough sleep at night? Probably not. I’m in the same boat, sometimes.
So, what can you do to turn this all around?


So, I put my foot down on social media (along with a cheeky and funny photo quote) warning everyone that I WILL block their ass if they come onto my page and spam my page with rudeness and negativity (I don’t do that to their pages). Well, one person (not the person I blocked) actually blocked ME after leaving a response stating they didn’t like my “temper tantrum”.
Cue…what’s the phrase? Oh, “Byyyyeeee, Felicia!”
Listen, I don’t care who you are, if you’re going to be rude TO me, I’m just going to block you because “ain’t nobody got time for that.”
Why try to please people who cannot understand that it’s actually a GOOD THING to have healthy boundaries in life? Yes, I am here to help people, we all have our gifts we share with the world; but this doesn’t mean I should stand for bullying. HELL NO!
You can’t please everyone, and you really shouldn’t WANT to please everyone, anyway. Own yourself, you are a total badass at life and you DO deserve the self-respect you maintain FOR your own soul. Which brings me to my next point…

What to do instead?
PACE YOURSELF. Utilize a calendar on your phone and space out each task, each day. For example, I perform my Mastering Your Mindset journaling each day and I allot myself at least 5-10 minutes each day to do it. And then I allow myself 30 minutes or so to respond to emails/messages, an hour and a half for blogging, etc. (space it all out).
Also, when you pace yourself and spread things out on your calendar, you are not only more likely to STICK to completing them; but you are also more confident in replying to a request to help set the necessary healthy boundary in place, “Let me check my schedule and I will get with you soon!”
And then you look at your calendar and buy yourself some time to figure out:
1) do I really want to do this? Or, am I just saying “yes” because I don’t want to upset others?
And
2) where can I fit this in my day and on what day (BECAUSE I really want to do this)?

Before last year I had NO CLUE what it meant to have healthy boundaries in place for myself. And then I woke up after feeling completely drained and just plain irritable. Not to mention that I had a health scare and was ordered “to rest” for a week. I’m happy to say my blood pressure is in good condition, thanks TO setting healthy boundaries. BONUS! I lost 21 lbs. when I took back my OWN power and put my self-love and care FIRST. No gym required.
When you live by your own healthy boundaries you put into place, you start to feel calmer, happier, more at ease, in flow, and in alignment. And then everything you want to manifest comes more rapidly BECAUSE you are emitting calmer, happier, more at ease, in flow, and in alignment vibes into the Universe stating, “more of these types of blessings, please!”
I strongly urge you to re-evaluate your thought and behavioral patterns if you are feeling overworked, overstretched, and completely drained of your energy.
And for your Mastering Your Mindset journaling, ask yourself the following and journal out your answer at least 5 times:


It’s time to get more in touch with your soul’s wants and needs, Baby!

I Surpassed Gabby Bernstein, So Thankful (Also, Donate)!

I want to take a moment and say THANK YOU SO MUCH for supporting my book, Don’t Feel Stuck! I am very appreciative to everyone who has not only purchased it; but, who has also given me feedback on how it has TRANSFORMED your lives into a positive state of being and doing. These past few days I have been deeply saddened by the California wildfires. The important thing to remember is that you are NOT alone when you are feeling down or sad about things going on in your life. And it does NOT mean you aren’t manifesting your life’s goals and dreams. You still ARE manifesting, I promise!
Do you think Rome was built in a day? No way! These things take time, and they ARE manifesting into your physical realm in Divine timing and by the Divine “how”. LEAN INTO your faith more and more during moments of mental and emotional struggles. Release, surrender, let go, and TRUST the process.

The Universe IS Providing You with Learning Lessons

When was the last time you had an epiphany? You know, “ohhhh THAT’S why it happened…”
Over this past week I have been receiving more exposure for my work and my book. I didn’t realize it in the moment when I saw that 1-star review on Amazon with its short description, “Cancelled order”; nonetheless, I truly think there is a lesson in everything that the Universe provides to us. And I truly do think it’s to help us grow within our soul FOR our soul’s highest happiness.
While I didn’t realize it in the moment, I truly do believe it happened to HELP me to understand that as I gain more exposure for my work and my book, part of being “successful” involves haters (cue the Taylor Swift music).
So, the next time something unfavorable happens, you can totally try to figure it out in the moment and drive yourself crazy with wonder. OR, you can tell yourself and actually LET GO by stating:
I know the Universe is trying to teach me something in this. I am going to release it and not worry about it because in time I will fully understand.
The Pain IS Real
Leveling UP pains (growth pains) are REAL. Usually before a breakthrough happens, you feel reclusive, doubtful, hopeless, defeated, exhausted, sarcastic, and you just wanna throw in the towel and “give up”. This may last for a few days or even a few weeks.
But, have NO fear because you are about to level UP and have a BREAKTHROUGH, which sort of feels like the “ahhhhh” moment right after you rip a band-aid off your forearm, or when the spa lady soothes your skin right after she rips the wax paper off you!
You Can’t Make Everyone Happy, You’re Not A Vibrator
I came across this quote the other day and it made me chuckle a few times. Alright, it seriously made me laugh out loud. Even if the quote is a bit raunchy, its message has a lot of energy release behind it.
I really want to leave you feeling hopeful and positive about life and understand that everything happens for a reason because our souls WANT to level up and grow. How boring would life be if we didn’t grow and expand within our understanding of our PURPOSE in this Universe? Life would be SO boring.
You may not realize it in the moment, but there truly is a lesson in everything. And while we are all human and we crave to be approved and accepted by one another, the fact of the matter is you simply cannot be YOU when you are trying to please everyone else. You’re NOT a vibrator.
So, live your life to your fullest, live it like YOU want to live it, live by your soul’s purpose, and keep going TOWARDS your manifestations! Show the Universe what you are calling into your physical realm. You ARE worthy of being happy and I totally believe in you. You’ve got this!
Follow your soul’s calling, don’t take any shit from anyone. Have a great weekend!

Keep Going

Keep going. Do not let others sway you off your path. People live in fear and try to make you feel inferior to them because they are insecure with themselves.
But, you are above this kind of behavior. Keep going. Keep being nice to others, keep being persistent on your path with confidence. Keep leading by example. Realize you are allowed to put yourself first in order to maintain your energy in helping others. And understand people often self-project out of fear and insecurity.
You have a purpose and it’s so much greater and so much bigger and so much more rewarding than you know right now.
Remember the golden rule, remember karma, keep your faith, and keep going.

I Just Want to Scream! And NOT in the Good Way

It feels like lava is in my esophagus and it’s slowly rising into my mouth. Yet, I keep calm despite the fact that lately there is a lot of funk in the air, and many people are being extremely rude towards me and to others.
Are you the type of person who bottles up your emotions inside of you? And then you burst all at once?
Or, are you the type to have outbursts in the exact moment of something influencing your mood?
Do you take your anger and frustrations out on OTHERS? Or, do you tend to become angry and frustrated with YOURSELF?
Do you go straight to the source when you are angry or frustrated to hash it out? Or, do you go to others and vent about them, instead?
I Have a Secret
I have a tendency to bottle up my negative emotions for fear of “rocking the boat.” I sometimes bottle up my positive ones, too, for fear of showing any kind of attachment.
I have more to disclose: I take out my anger and frustrations on myself. I try to figure out what I did wrong. And sometimes I vent to people who are close to me (but not at them) BECAUSE I’m trying to figure out what the hell just happened.
We All Have Our Moments of Feeling Like A Ticking Time-Bomb
I ask these questions because I find they are important in getting to know yourself in how you operate under pressure. Furthermore, it helps you to be able to be more AWARE of your emotional reactions vs. more thought-provoking responses.
While we can’t always adjust our emotional temperature 24/7, there are some things to keep in mind and practice while performing your Mastering Your Mindset journaling to BE more aware and take your power back within yourself.
So Ask Yourself While Journaling Out The Following:
1) Is bottling up my current emotions/unleashing my current emotions through hasty reactions going to SOLVE/HELP the current situation? State your case: why or why not?
2) Is bottling up my current emotions/unleashing my current emotions through hasty reactions going to HELP my relationships with others in my work life and/or personal life? State your case: why or why not?
3) When I think of my current challenge that is influencing my negative emotions, what am I TRULY afraid of about it? WHY am I afraid of this outcome?
4) What could I be thinking and doing in order to SHIFT from these emotionally-charged feelings of frustrations or anger so that I no longer feel like I am out of control of myself and my life?
Remember
Everything IS temporary. What you are currently undergoing right now is not going to be the same a month, 3 months, 6 months, or even a year from now. And what is the best way to take your power back within your soul and put yourself back into the driver’s seat? Gain KNOWLEDGE around your thoughts/feelings of WHY you are thinking/feeling this way. In addition, Google some articles to read to further understand that you are NOT alone in your feelings. Lastly, you CAN and you WILL get through this.
Whether or not you take your frustrations or anger out on others, or you bottle them up inside and explode all at once, you ARE ultimately responsible for YOUR responses. We all have our emotionally-charged moments, but we always have a CHOICE in how we want to go forward with the situation at hand. And while it can be challenging to remember during these emotionally-charged moments, practice makes for progression in empowering yourself for WHEN you have these charged moments.
When you practice at thinking and feeling how you TRULY want to think and feel, it gets easier and the outside influences won’t affect you the way they used to affect you BECAUSE you are in the driver’s seat of your soul and of your mindset. Everything is relative and nothing is permanent in this Universe (except change, change is always constant).

Have You Forgotten the Little Things?

Hey Sensational Soul!
Have you forgotten about the little progresses and successes during your week? Have you forgotten about the little progresses and successes during this past month? What about this past year?
Some law of attraction mentors make it sound like $20K comes in one, lump sum that just falls into your lap! I’m not saying it can’t happen; but, let’s get REAL.
Your manifestations, whether they be in money and/or even MORE blessings you are calling into your physical realm, DO happen in waves and batches. It’s so important to celebrate ALL of your progresses and successes!
Your manifestations ARE coming, and I highly recommend you to write down some of your favorite moments so far in your week, your month, your year, and even your life. You are progressing much more than you realize. It’s important to acknowledge and be your own cheerleader in everything you do.
Are you sitting around on the couch and not taking inspired actions? Well, turn it around and START doing and moving towards your manifestations TODAY! If you have started, KEEP GOING! Keep doing your Mastering Your Mindset journaling each day, mix it up in your journaling to help keep yourself in alignment and in flow.
And REFLECT on some good LITTLE things that have happened as well as some good BIG things that have happened. I promise, you are doing so much better than you realize. I totally believe in you, I’m here to help kick your spiritual ass into gear; but, you also gotta keep going and keep calling it all in. You CAN do this!
The Universe works behind the scenes before it materializes into your physical realm. You may not think you are manifesting, but you ARE, so keep going. You’ve got this!
