Fake You Reviews

Well, the reviews for Fake You are in, and they’re great. Here’s a small selection for your reading pleasure!

Fake You, MV Ellis

This series is taking the whole bully trope and smacking it upside the head! I am absolutely floored and in awe of Ms. Ellis’ new story in this series!
~ Bibliophile Chle

An enemies-to-lovers/bully romance that keeps you hooked from start to finish with its twisty storyline, drama and hot as sin chemistry.

Fake You Except – Meet Drew & Kick

“I don’t want either character you play. Tonight I want Angelita.” She flinched slightly at the sound of the unfamiliar word on my lips.

“She doesn’t exist.”

“Yes, she does. Look at me.”

“No.”

“Look. At. Me.” When she didn’t alter her eye line, I crouched down alongside the bed, and lifted her chin with the crook of my index finger, forcing her to meet my gaze.

“I want the sometimes tomboy who was just as happy playing golf and fishing with her dad, as she was twirling batons and killing it...

Spider is now live and in KU

So my beautiful ‘Norse god-looking motherfucker’ is live. If you can’t tell, I’m a teeny bit in love with this guy. Spider is the second book in my Rough Ink series, and Spider and Emi’s rollercoaster ride of a love story that will wrench you by the heartstrings. I truly can’t wait for you to fall into their web.

Dealing with some sensitive and emotionally challenging themes, Spider and Emi’s romance is an intense wild ride of really high highs, and really low lows. It will have you laughing, cr...

Spider – exclusive excerpt. Live in 1 week!

Spider hits Kindles in just under a week, so I wanted to take the opportunity to share an exclusive excerpt with you.

“Hey, you okay? I mean, I know you’re not. I’m just trying to work out what’s going on. Is it something I did, or didn’t do… what?”

I closed my eyes. The last thing I wanted or could handle at that point was the pained look of concern in his big sympathetic gray eyes. It made me feel… pathetic. I was tired of being a loser at life in his eyes. I wanted to be normal. For us to be e...

Hot off the heels of Break You, Fake You (Boys of Trinity Hall Book 2) is now available for pre-order. Are you ready to meet Drew and Kik? This promises to be another hotter-than-Hades, fiery romance between two people whose lives are worlds apart, yet inextricably connected.

Drew
I hate the lies you tell.
For as long as I could remember, everything in my world had been fake. Literally everything. I’d had it with it all: the lies, the pretense, the show. But I was stuck on a dizzying merry-go-round of dec...DrewI

Break You is Live!

Yes, this IS very old news, but I’m also phenomenally awful posting here. Like HORRIBLE. So there’s that. So yes, Brea You has been live for over two weeks, and I’m only just posting here about it now.

In my defence, I have been mad busy – editing, writing, more editing, admin-ing, and life-ing. Those last two are not words, but you get the gist…

But before all that I had to get through the release of Break You, and what an EPIC release it was! Like…E…P…I…C, with a capital “WTAF just happened?”

Why? Well, firs...

RWA Conference Diversity Panel 2019 Part II

Still not convinced about white privilege?

A few small ways your life may differ from mine, although on the face of it we may be similar:

At the conference I repeatedly walked into a room full of 200 industry peers and was the only black person there except for a member of waiting staff. Most other attendees probably didn’t even notice that was the case, but to me it was strikingly obvious.

I hear people speak about experiences overseas where they have been the only white person for miles. B...

RWA Conference Diversity Panel 2019 Part I

A little bit of history…

Along with three other talented authors, Amy T Matthews, Renee Dahlia and Nicole Hurley-Moore, I recently had the honour and pleasure of sitting on a panel at the Romance Writers of Australia’s annual conference.

The topic of discussion on the panel centred around the issues surrounding diversity in romance specifically, and the wider media and entertainment landscape generally.

The genesis of the idea of the panel was a number of hotly debated posts within the RWA me...
