You’re definitely right. My mom was diagnosed as bipolar at one point. But I’m mainly writing satire of the movie trope, Manic Pixie Dream Girl:

Great advice! The worst is when people try to diagnose literature. I swear, someone once tried to diagnose the characters in Wuthering Heights. I almost threw up.

I think you nailed it.
I think you nailed it. This hit me just when I was thinking about how some of my friends are responding to racism and sexism at work. In some ways, it’s the exact same scenario. We need to learn some new strategies.
