“૦૪. અસંતુલન.”

સમય સાથે સારી વસ્તુઓ ખરાબ થાય અને યુગ બદલાય. સતયુગ પછી ત્રેતા, પછી દ્વાપર, પછી કલયુગ આવે. આ ચક્રનો કોઈ અંત નથી, નિરંતર ચાલતો રહે છે. સુખ વધે એટલે લોકો બીજાનો દુઃખ ભૂલી જાય, સ્વાર્થ વધે ને પછી તે કારણે દુઃખ આવે. અને દુખી માણસ ફરી સુખ માટે પ્રયત્નો કરવા લાગે.

લોકો કહે છે કે અંધકારનું જાતે કોઈ અસ્તિત્વ નથી, એ તો જ્યાં પ્રકાશ અવિદ્યમાન હોય ત્યાં અંધકાર થાય. હું આ તર્કને નથી માનતો. આપણો મૂળ સ્વભાવ તે અજ્ઞાનનો છે, અંધકારનો છે.

કદાચ એટલે જ “जन्मना जायते शुद्रः संस्कारत द्वीज भवेत्”.

કારણ કે અજ...

“૩. પુનર્જન્મ અને આત્મા.”

સનાતનને પુનર્જન્મમાં વિશ્વાસ છે, પણ શું તે યોગ્ય છે? તાર્કિક છે? આપણે છીએ ત્યાં સુધી છીએ, પછી નથી, એવા મારા, તમારા ને ઘણાના વિચારો છે.

વિચાર પછી એક જ વાત સાચી લાગી. પુનર્જન્મના તર્કમાં વિશ્વાસ માટે મને ન્યાયમાં વિશ્વાસ હોવો જોઈએ. ત્યારે સંભવતઃ પુનર્જન્મમાં હું માની શકું.

એટલું તો આપણે પહેલા બે લેખોથી જોયું કે કર્મફળ ઝપાટાબંધ એકીસાથે નથી મળતું (મોટાભાગે), અંશે અંશે અને લાંબા સમય સુધી મળે છે. જેમ આપણે જોયું કે ભીષ્મ અંબિકાને જીતી લાવ્યા અને તેના પરિણામસ્વરૂપ કુરુક્ષેત્રની લડાઈ થઇ. એટલે કર્મફ...
