It's been over two months since my last monthly newsletter. Can you believe it? I remember thinking of it in January, and then well, February always goes too fast for me. My dad's birthday is the beginning of March and every year on the last week in February I'm always thinking how did month go by so fast and I don't have anything for my dad. He lives in California, so it takes awhile for packages to get from Missouri to there.
It's been a busy two months since I last talked to you. My family (husband, two sons, and 2 dogs) all drove to see my dad for Christmas and spent a week in sunny Palm Springs. It was glorious and so much fun. It was also crazy busy. My highlight was going to Malibu and the beach. Isn't that sunset gorgeous?
I'm still working on Hollywood Fairytale. So far it's 116k, and once I'm finished, I'll be breaking it down into three books. The first will be a novella, With Love, Alex. I won't publish any of it until I've got the entire first draft written because I don't want those who have already been patient with me to have to wait any longer for the rest of the books in the series. To the right is a teaser that my wonder fellow author friend, Alyne Hart made for it. I'll keep you up to date on my progress.
Right now, I'm taking a little break from writing Hollywood Fairytale because I'm currently working on a secret project that will be published by the end of the year., sometime around the holidays. I'm so excited and can't wait to share it with you! Since it has a deadline, I thought it would be prudent for me to start on it. When I can I will tell you more about it!
