Inner Potential of 7th and 8th Standard Students
This post is a real life experience and insight on the discovery of potentials of young children based on the 8 parts of their Inner Being.
I discovered this on Sunday, September 3rd 2017, which was an important day for me in my career of training for the last 22 years!
As part of the 4 month 'Beyond Schooling' program for 7th and 8th standard students I did a half day session on discovery of their uniqueness and individuality. It was done through dialogue. Explored with them how to sense qualities/ values within them that form part of their core. Explored with them to recognise the best qualities / values within their mothers and fathers and how it can fuse in a new, higher and unique way within them.
With a very short period of struggle, as this was new to them, they grasped. Some of the students gave insights which even adults do not come up to. One girl said, if there is a gap in my connecting to my core qualities, in that gap other limitations of mine/others can seep in! The whole class clapped for her three times. One boy said if we do mental synthesis (Part of the Pure Mind part of being) it gives food to the mind. I did not understand what he said. Then he said like photosynthesis, in the mind when we synthesise opposing thoughts and values it gives food to mind. I was awed with joy as it is so true. This combination and synthesis gives clarity and actually produces 'light' in the mind, which is its food.
Internally very happy today. In a way the essence of this book 'Into Great Depth of Your Being' which was written for different age groups, is being grasped by these younger minds and hearts spontaneously as there is a purity and freshness they are bringing into it. If only we adults can tune into the gifts and potentials of these young hearts and minds and support them in their evolution!
A whole new world can open up when adults can open to the potentials of children and be guides or mid-wives to help these potentials to come forth and flower.
