Whitney Release Date & What I’m Working On
Heya guys!
Well, it’s absolutely official, Alpha Marked #3: Whitney will be uploaded to retailers on Monday, October 28th. Keep in mind that Apple, Amazon and Barnes & Noble do take some time to process, so it may not appear on those sites right away.
In other news… I started a new book this past week that involves a hunky werebear and his equally gorgeous (and curvaceous) human mate. It doesn’t have a title just yet, but it is (personally) being referred to as the “cub in a pantry” book. Wanna know why? Here’s an unedited tidbit.

There was a bear cub in her pantry.
Mia Baker squinted her eyes and peered into the dim interior. Yup, a bear cub. The small ball of fur shifted, its reflective black eyes settling on her.
Heck no, she was not being mauled by a bear.
She slammed the door shut and counted to five, sure that it’d been a figment of her imagination. Her mind had been playing tricks on her ever since she’d walked through the door of her grandfather’s home. Part of her wondered if he’d decided to haunt her as he’d always threatened. A now familiar pang of grief speared her heart, that fleeting thought bringing back the memory of standing at the old man’s graveside.
A tear formed, the sting causing her to blink her eyes. She wiped away the moisture as it trailed down her cheek. He was gone. She needed to push past the grief and live her life. He’d whoop her from one end of the house to the other if he caught her crying over him.
A low, barking whine came from the pantry, the solid wood muffling the sound but that didn’t negate its existence. She still had a bear cub. In her pantry.

Hot Summer Romance
Heya guys! Whee! It’s another blog hop and another chance for prizes.

In this snippet, our hero and heroine meet for the first time and it’s, er, interesting.

He turned toward her and held out his hand, palm up. Not wanting to be rude, she placed her hand in his. He brought it to his mouth, lips brushing against her skin.
Soft, just as soft and silky as she’d imagined, and the touch shot a bolt of awareness straight to her heat. Her pussy clenched and dampened with the subtle caress of skin against skin. Then…then he flicked his tongue out, and she imagined him to be like a snake, tongue dancing this way and that, tasting. Her heat clenched again, harder this time, and she hoped he’d end his assault before she embarrassed herself by coming from nothing more than a kiss on the hand. Okay, a little more than a simple kiss, but not much.
“Miss Cilla.” His voice rumbled over her, through her, and zeroed in on her pussy. Damn, but the man had way too much control over her already.
“Cilla?” The Harpy’s voice broke into Cilla’s pending orgasm.
“Hmm?” She hadn’t let her gaze wander from Djimon’s.
“I release you.”
Wait. “What?”
“I release you…into the care of Djimon.”
Cilla snatched her hand back from the vampire, breaking their contact, and turned her fury on the Harpy. “You fucking what?” Now was not the time for subtlety.
“I have released you to Djimon. He holds your scale now, as well as control over you. I have searched—”
“You fucking bitch.” She took a deep cleansing breath and let her fiery fury erupt into the room. “You hold me captive for nearly six years. Six. Years. And now, so close to being released, you give me to this man? This vampire?” She spat the breed of this stranger. Cilla rose and stared down at the vamp. “I didn’t submit to her and I sure as fire won’t submit to you, vampire. If you expect a sex slave, try me. You’ll be burned so badly it’ll take you a century to recover. I may not be able to shift, but I can handle a can of lighter fluid with the best of them.”
“I have no intention—”
Yeah, right. She saw the look in his eyes and the bulge in his pants that even the baggy fabric couldn’t hide.
Djimon held a necklace aloft that Cilla recognized immediately. A thin titanium chain, spelled against all but the owner, with a single sparkling green scale captured on the string. “Twenty-four hours and then I’ll release you. Give me twenty-four hours to show you why the Harpy sought me out for you specifically, and then you can fly to the farthest corner of the earth. I won’t bother you again.”
What choice did she have? “Fine. But the lighter fluid threat stands, blood-boy.”

Sizzling Summer
Since it’s time for a little sizzle this summer, here’s a quick excerpt from Alpha Marked #2: Gabriella…
Low murmurs filled the room, the deep tone of Berke’s voice unmistakable, but Jack couldn’t force himself to pay attention to his friend’s words. He could feel the heat of Gabby’s body. The heady scent of her need wrapped around him with ethereal, welcoming arms. Her aroma was like a physical thing, caressing him with invisible strokes and sliding beneath his clothing to pet his skin.
He wanted. God damn, he wanted.
A soft gasp was her only response to his touch and nearness, her eyes fluttering open until their gazes clashed. He watched the expressions that flitted across her features, anger and fury warring with arousal and need. Other emotions clouded her gaze: distrust, attraction, wariness, and then a hint of tenderness and affection that he didn’t want to accept. Because he found himself feeling the same.
Jack let his finger slide over her lower lip, noting the difference in texture and softness with his tiny caress. Gabby opened her mouth, and her small, pink tongue darted out to lap as his digit. The warm touch went straight to his dick, forcing him to harden further while his beast howled in triumph. It was cocky and proud, rejoicing in the fact that his human half hadn’t destroyed their chance at mating with the luscious creature that called to them.
She did call to him, the siren’s song beckoning him closer, inviting him into her seductive world.

Gabriella is available now!
Long awaited, much begged for, Gabriella is now available. Woo hoo! Gabby is a lot of fun, gets into a bit of trouble, and still manages to find her hotness in the end. :D
Thirty and single? Getcha ass to the Gathering!
Ugh. Gabriella Wickham thought turning thirty was bad enough, but now she’s been invited (ordered) to attend this year’s Gathering (werewolf speed dating). Call Me Yours Out Now!
Yay! Call Me Yours is out in the wild.
Three hundred year old Mitchell Faerigan has been chasing Clover Brady for two years, determined to make the gorgeous red head his mate. The man is skittish, but Mitchell is one determined fae. When Mitchell’s family threatens and then tries to kill Clover, all bets are off, and Mitchell claims what belongs to him. Now, he just has to convince Clover that loving him is worth the risk. Clover Brady has a simple life running his simple antique shop and ogling the not-so-simple owner of Faerigan Cycles. He’d like nothing more than to throw himself into Mitchell’s arms and beg him to do naughty things to his body. Unfortunately, Clover is unwilling to risk his heart. He’s still recovering from the loss of his parents, and there is no way he could ever survive loving and possibly losing Mitchell. So he’ll keep his heart to himself, no matter how tempting the other man may be.

Here’s six quick sentences from my current WIP, Alpha Marked #2: Gabriella…
He tipped his head back, inhaling deep and hunting for more of that alluring aroma. It was…there! He caught it and ventured forward, attention split between his original destination and that—cinnamon?—goodness. Yes, cinnamon and sugar with a hint of apples. God, apple pie. Mixed in were the unmistakable hints of pure woman.
Alpha Marked #2: Gabriella is scheduled for release on 6/5/13.

Whazzup?
Just a quick not to update y’all on my writing progress…
Alpha Marked #2-Gabriella is in edits! My mad awesome editor, Chris, has it in his hot little hands and we’re shooting for an early July release. It’s sorta awesome, if I do say so myself.
Call Me Yours, a fun fairy romp filled with sparkling gay guys and an evil beyotch, is set for release on June 5, 2013. Then again, y’all know that Amazon and B&N take forevah to update their sites, so look for it there on June 7th.
Right this second, I’m working on Ridgeville #6, Harding’s story. I haven’t quite gotten to the hotness, but with two scarred characters, it’s gonna take ‘em a little while to get to the bow chicka bow bow.
Hmmm…. Other news…. Oh! A bundle of the first three stories in the Ridgeville series has been released. It includes He Ain’t Lion, You’re Lion, and Ball of Furry. Buying all three individually would cost ya almost $11 and the trio is only $5.99. That’s like, a mad big discount.

How’s it Hanging?
What up ma peeps?!
It’s been a smidge (*wince*) since I’ve posted. Right now I’m getting ready to say goodbye to The Mom. She’s been visiting the last few weeks and we’ve spent a lot of time together which rocks, but isn’t writing conducive. Note to Mom: But I love you!
Now, it’s back on the wagon.
In May, I’ve got two releases… Knots #3: Cuffed should be out on/around 5/8/13. It’s super smexy and growly and there’s tattoos! Also in May is Wicked Wolf, Wanton Witch. All Romance eBooks invited me to submit for their Shades of Naughty series publishing in May and now it’s that time. Yay! It’s smexy (when are my books not, right?) with wolves and vamps and witches. Okay, one witch, but there’s lots of the others. You can see both of those kick arse covers below:
Now… June… Well, The Mom (yes, that’s how we refer to her…weird, but I never said I was normal) has nommed on writing time, but I have managed to finish one other manlove story to publish in June. The current title is: Call Me Yours. It’s a m/m paranormal novella that features faeries, one of which happens to be a biker. How hot is that?! Anyway, more smexy, smokin’ hawt guys and ebil bad guys (bad chick, really) equals a fun story. I was gonna work on Gabby & Vamps, really, but I found the beginnings of Call Me Yours as I was poking through old files and just *had* to finish it. HAD TO! Now that it’s done and off to edits, I’m poking at Vamps & Gabby again. With a dash of Ridgeville in there for good measure. ;)
So, that’s me. What are y’all up to?
