Family and Fury (Short Story Review)

In a short story of survival, “Family and Fury" follows Riven, his injured wife, and three daughters as they rebuild their lives in the remote deep woods, far from the horrors that destroyed their village. Riven dedicates himself to building a new home, forging weapons, and training to protect his loved ones while his daughters nurse their mother back to health.

Chase Quest (Book Review)

General Review Personal Review Personally, this story took some effort for me to read. I prefer dark, gritty, and action packed fantasies to the epic fantasy that this story represents. I’m in no way saying this is a bad story, not at all. This is a good story, just not to my particular taste. If […]

Unpopular Opinion: Show, Don’t Tell

Show, don’t tell comes down to semantics and how someone chooses to convey a message in their story to their desired reader. The object of writing is to tell a compelling story, thus the term ‘storyteller’. Sure, one can say using active voice rather than passive voice is better as it delivers more of a […]

The Grand Game (Book Review)

I couldn't recommend this series enough if I tried! This book starts off fast paced and is just a wild ride all the way. From the moment Michael wakes up in Erebus' chamber with Stayne looking over him to the moment he leaves the sector in the end, this book is one thing after another with hardly a moment's rest.

For those that want to go the traditional route, it will take anywhere from six months to a year depending on how long […]

Wandering Thoughts

I wonder how poets come up with a verseDo they start at the end and then reverseI wonder how a mechanic fixes a cardoes he start at the end and then pushes startA ridiculous query I know; the nonsensical natureof this verse must be shown. With no rhyme or reason, well, just a little bit of […]
