The Two Ways Stories Are Driven

What I mean by character driven stories is that the story is influenced by the actions of the character(s) as those actions determine where the story goes and ultimately ends up. With and world-driven story, the surroundings, environment, and nature of the world influences the characters actions which means the world itself is leading the story, usually the political and economic system of the world are the prime movers in a world-driven story.
