Dear Friends,
My latest published book is called "Beyond the Victory Garden," and it's number 6 in the Serve Series. The War is finally coming to a close, and some things change for the better, others not so much! The funny characters make several appearances and I believe I'm getting to be just as fond of those incidental folks as I am of our four regular women! My current reading goal is a collection of 5 PG Wodehouse books, simply called "5 Complete Novels." He has such a genius for humor and making you laugh, whether you want to or not. You can journey through time, other countries, other cultures, and there's no limits on what can happen while you're there. Of course, it's sad when the story comes to an end and you have to say goodbye to the "friends" you've made along the way. I think that might be why so many of us like to create series--you can hang onto the characters you've created.(less)

May 2020

You know, I started writing this series to create a story about characters that I envisioned from my Mom and Dad's time during the World War II. Since the main characters started out based on real people, the characters themselves became real to me, and soon, so did their friends in the story. Now, on book 5 in the series, (which I think I'll call Promises Lost & Found) sometimes I find myself sta Read more of this blog post »
