i’ve ordered copies of my debut novel The Star Under the City for stock at the convention and am very happy with them. as I mentioned last time, i’ve done another edit and even changed the font (totally in love with it).

it would be super awesome to see some of you at the AFHE Homeschool Convention this year!

Generation Rising is thrilled to announce TWO brand new novels published...

This Beautiful Blue Book

What to do when it has been a long day, the older sibs are watching a show late at night, and you really should just go to bed? Crawl under a blanket with a bowl of their popcorn and the BEST book EVER!

upside-down: a poem

hey all =)
i’ve got to see life from more perspectives this past year than i have in my whole life before that. it’s been really interesting to learn new things about people and life and see things differently. here’s a poem i wrote a little while ago from something that was impressed upon me by circumstances. it was definitely a turning point in my life. i hope it gets across the lesson i’m learning. let me know what you think

i decided not to give up my attic corner but did make some pretty fun changes to it. as life gets busier and busier i realize i don’t actually have time to write and o...

A Short Story: My Father’s Power

One thing I’ve been learning is that no person will be able to be there all the time. Even if they want to and love you very much. I’m really learning that God must be All and All in every. single. area. of life. He is so good. ❤

This was originally posted on my page over at Noble Novels, but here it is for you all too.

A Poem: The Freedom In Surrender

This is something I’ve debated sharing with you for almost a year now.
Maybe you’ll relate with it – maybe you won’t. But I hope you understand it, and that you understand how desperately important it is for Christ to be first in life. No matter what the alternative may be, it must be surrendered to Him. ❤

The Freedom In Surrender

The Lord had given me a gift,
Precious, dear, and good.
But young and foolish as I was,
I didn’t seek HIM as I should.

Caught up in all the wonder,
I didn’t tur...
