New Release: Back from the Dark (A Gallows Short: Teri's Story)

Announcement: My email list has officially been closed down. What this means: if you’re keen to know when my books are out you’ll need to do one of the following; subscribe to this blog, like my facebook page, follow me on twitter, and/or add me as a favourite on Amazon.

Anyway, the good news behind this change is that I’ll be releasing the email exclusive short stories on wattpad, smashwords, and goodreads, so that fans of the Gallows Novels can easily find and read them for free in various formats!

The first story to be released is ‘Back from the Dark’ and focuses on popular recurring character Teri (aka Elle). This is best read after ‘Fate Fallen’, the third Gallows Novel, as it contains spoilers for the first three books. Enjoy!

Links to where you can read or download this short story:

Wattpad: http://www.wattpad.com/story/3346331-...

Goodreads: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

Smashwords: https://www.smashwords.com/books/view...

Next up:

The next short story will feature an important character I’ll be introducing in ‘Spirit Splintered’, the sixth Gallows Novel. I know several fans have been waiting for her to show up ever since book one, so this revealing bit of her backstory will be released soon after the novel comes out. Watch out for release dates nearer the end of this year!

September is Indie Author Takeover Month

As you may or may not already know, I’m taking a read and review break next month and will also be avoiding spending too much time on social media, all in an effort to fit in more quality writing time. Since this leaves me with an inactive blog for the month, I decided the best thing to do was to invite my fellow indie authors to ‘takeover’ my blog for the month.

This is your open invitation to this takeover!

So, if you have a new release, a book that is on special promo, or if you want to share an excerpt or an article you’ve written relating to books or writing, all you need to do is send me the information you want me to post!

I’ve also pulled together an indie author interview so if anyone wants to do this instead of sharing their own post please email me before the 20th August as I will need the answers back before the end of the month. If you need me to post on a specific date please state this date when you email me. Email me by 30th August with ‘Indie Takeover’ in the subject line and I’ll get your post scheduled in: sharonstevensonauthor@gmail.com

Important Notes:

Please send ALL of the information you want posted. I won’t be taking the time to check every last piece of information so if a link doesn’t work or you’ve missed something out I won’t pick up on it and I won’t have time to change anything once it’s posted.

I’m aiming to make this as quick and simple as possible so I will email you back at the end of August with the date that your post will go up and then it will be up to you to check my blog on that day (I won’t be online every day in September, but will tweet/share all blog posts whenever I am).

Lastly, do not just send me the cover and blurb of your book with no other information. I won't post it if you do this. If you're creative enough to write a book, you're capable of selling it better than that and you're doing yourself a disservice if you don't even try. Give me an excerpt, or tell us all why we should be reading it. You can supply reviewer quotes or explain why you had a burning need to write this particular book. If it's on free offer or sale or it's a new release give me dates and/or links on where readers can grab it.

The blog you're taking over is at: www.sharonstevensonauthor.com

The long wait is finally over

Well, it’s been a whole year but the second short novel in my After Death series is finally out! You can pick it up on Amazon for $0.99/£0.77. Part one is permanently free on Amazon, Smashwords, Barnes and Noble and iTunes; you can check out the ‘Books' page on my website for links: www.sharonstevensonauthor.com/books
I’ll be releasing the next two parts of this planned six-part series next year so the good news is that the wait won’t be quite so long for the next book! If you’re an urban fantasy fan who enjoys light entertainment with a dark sense of humour then you might want to give it a whirl.

Warning: These books contain profanity and sexual references. If you’re easily offended by that sort of thing you should probably leave now…

RAISED: PART TWO

After being killed by a one night stand and raised for the purpose of being recruited into the King’s Royal Guard, Pete went on the run.

His escape didn’t go as planned.

One dead User later…

Raised: Part Two

AN EXCERPT FROM RAISED: PART TWO:

There’s only so much one dead guy can take. I learned that pretty fast when Nick put a horrendous puppet-spell on me and made me go all clunky B-movie zombie on a bunch of hot chicks in the club. The screaming was bad enough, but one of them had taken her shoe off and punctured a hole in my arm. She’d had to be dragged away kicking and cursing. I flipped her the bird when Nick let me have control of my own body back. I doubt she even saw it by then. Glowering at my new User was fast becoming my new favourite past-time, not that he even noticed. He was too busy enjoying the attention he was getting from women who used to ignore him. Power; it drives chicks wild. Who’d have known?

The club was awash with flashing lights, scantily-clothed women and big, buff, irritable-looking men. Practically everyone was wearing leather. It was either a biker joint or a fetish club. I was leaning towards biker bar going by the number of times Nick had used me to fend off attacks from scary-looking dudes in Motorhead t-shirts. I was getting pretty sick of being used like a human Rottweiler by the time Nick was actually on stage and otherwise distracted.

I sank into the shadows at the side of the stage and tried not to think about how much this would suck if this were my life… Oh wait I have no life; I was revoked entitlement to a life when a crazy bitch decided to go slash-happy on me and paint my kitchen a vibrant shade of O-negative. My snort of laughter drew the drummer’s wary glance. He shook his head at me and kept right on banging away like a possessed monkey.

I should probably explain; Nick’s band is a mix of speed metal and rap metal with a heavy coating of grunge rock. This made for a head-ache forming combo. I doubted they were getting paid for the noise they were making.

It was too warm. The lights burning onto the stage and the equipment beside me were making the room uncomfortably hot. I folded my arms and snarled at a tattooed-girl with pink hair who was peering nosily over at me. She raised a pierced eyebrow and looked away slowly. Bitch.

I had no idea how long Nick spent writhing around on the beer-stained stage, singing mostly out of tune, but I took an interest when he decided to levitate three foot above the stage and perform a guitar solo that the rest of the band clearly hadn’t seen coming. They all stopped playing once he got five minutes into his over-blown, self-indulgent performance. He had women pushing against the stage to get close to him. He was glowing like Britt used to, overflowing with magic he just had to use. I rolled my eyes. It hadn’t been a short night so far and it didn’t look like it was going to wind down anytime soon either.

I wanted to get home already. The day had been long enough. The thought of sleep made me smile, even if it wasn’t something I strictly needed to do anymore. It was just one of those things that made me feel more human, more like the old me. I needed to feel human, particularly after the way Nick had just had me acting. They were actually afraid of me. Most of them, anyway. The disinterested few had the right idea but the majority actually seemed to think they would turn into an Animate if I bit them. Idiots. Why the hell would I want to bite them? They probably thought I was after their brains too. I snorted.

Nick came back to earth and was instantly mauled by his new-found groupies. His t-shirt was quickly ripped from him. He grinned at their lack of restraint. The tint of red on their wandering hands was more than just over-flow. He was be-spelling them. I frowned at him. The blonde girl pushing the others out the way grabbed Nick by the neck and pulled him into an open mouthed kiss. Her eyes flashed red before they closed.

What the fuck?

The band rightfully got aggravated and abandoned their instruments to go the bar. Three minutes later they were drinking, raising my jealousy. Not being able to eat or drink anymore bit the big one. I’d taken to chewing food for the taste and spitting it out again, but it just isn’t the same. Swallowing is highly underrated.

I watched Nick take turns with a couple of the more ravenous groupies. Their heated kisses dropped away quickly, replaced by hair-pulling and face-scratching when they started to actually bitch-fight each other. This wasn’t funny anymore. Nick was too busy to even notice the havoc he was creating; he was staring at the chest of the blonde who’d managed the climb on to the stage and had ripped her t-shirt off to keep his attention. The flimsy bra she was wearing was completely see-through under the spot-lights.

“You’ve got to be taking the piss,” I cursed, picking up one of the drum sticks the possessed monkey had left on the stage next to his kit. This wasn’t happening. I was not about to stand around and witness a live sex show. Even if the girl hadn’t been out of her head on Nick’s magic it wasn’t something I’d want to see. I chucked one of the sticks at him, hard. It hit him in the back and made him turn. The girl’s arms closed around his skinny chest from behind. The nipple ring and belly-button piercings she started toying with made me cringe, but no more so than seeing the chain that disappeared from Nick’s belly piercing into his jeans. Yuck. I so did not need to know what that was attached to. “That’s enough,” I warned.

Nick frowned at me, smiling when the girl licked his neck. “What? This is one of your only obligations, Pete. So…”

“I never agreed to stand around and watch you cast lust spells,” I argued, folding my arms.

Nick’s eyes narrowed. “I’m not doing anything wrong here.” He pushed the girl back. “So don’t get all preachy with me.”

“They don’t want you. You’re just forcing them to like you. It’s disgusting.”

“What the fuck would you know?” He stared at me. “You don’t have the first clue about what women really want.”

The girl behind him was glowing almost painfully now. He was pushing too much magic into her. She was going to crash. Her hands wandered as her eyes rolled up in her head. She moaned loudly, fingers following the chain hanging from Nick’s piercing.

“Oh, aye? Well, whatever it is, it’s not in your pants.”

The girl passed out, tumbling backwards and moaning lightly as she hit the floor. Nick turned and gazed down at her, no expression on his face. He knelt and touched her, and the glow of his magic coursed back towards him. He didn’t look at me again until the magic was safely contained within his own body. “It was just a bit of fun. If you’re going to keep over-reacting I’ll need to re-think your contract.”

I didn’t say anything. The thinly veiled threat wasn’t worth reacting to. Nick had gotten out of control but he’d stopped when he’d seen the harm he was doing. He just didn’t like being told what to do.

I folded my arms. “What time is this place open ‘til?”

“Doesn’t matter,” Nick said, turning and soaking up the drizzle of magic he’d poured over the crowd. They were suddenly a whole hell of a lot less rowdy. The bitch-fights near the stage stopped dead. Girls who’d been tearing each other’s hair out seconds before started crying and hugging and throwing out absolutes; let’s never fight again, don’t ever let me drink vodka again, you’ll always be my best friend no matter what. It was kind of nice and reassuring after the slip I’d just witnessed from Nick.

“We can go,” Nick said, putting his guitar in its case and picking up his leather jacket.

“What about…”

“The guys will tidy up. Or is asking others to pack shit up against your moral code as well?”

“I was only asking.”

“Well next time don’t bother,” he informed me, “unless you want to become a cleaning zombie.”

I knew when to keep my mouth shut; I’d seen the state of his flat. Nick hauled his jacket on and passed me his guitar case. I took it without complaint.

“So, do I get tomorrow off?” I was probably chancing my luck.

Nick frowned at me. “What the hell do you need a day off for?”

“I kind of still have to pay rent, unless you’re going to pay me to be a cleaning zombie?”

“Oh, right. That’s a bit balls.”

“You’ll need to sign my ‘back to work’ form.” Then I’d need to find an actual paying job at a place that recruited Animates. I got the feeling that was going to be quite a bit harder than it sounded. I couldn’t remember seeing Animates working anywhere out in the big wide world, besides the castle. I got the shivers just thinking about it.

“Well, you’re lucky I don’t have any gigs this weekend. You’ll need to find a job where there’s no weekend shifts,” he said, “and you’ll have to let me see the work contract before you sign it.”

Crap. I had to get pre-approval now too. This was going to just suck big hairy donkey balls.

Monthly Theme: Liquid Happiness

It’s July and it’s officially Liquid Happiness month on the blog, hooray! This month marks the release of Gallows Novel no 5 ‘Hell Halved’ and I will be revealing the cover for this book tomorrow, along with the blurb and release date. I also have a giveaway to go along with this reveal so be sure to check it out.

But back to the monthly theme; I’ll be sharing my Top 5 Cocktails and how to make them on Friday 4th of July, which is not only a fantastic holiday in the USA but is also my wedding anniversary so yeah I’ll be having a drink that night! Why not join me with one of my easy to make cocktails?

Exciting news: I have had the pleasure of interviewing Stephen Kozeniewski, author of the awesomely entertaining ‘Braineater Jones’ which features a zombie who needs to alcohol to stay fresh and stave off those nasty brain cravings but during prohibition that's not an easy thing to find. Check out the interview right here on Friday the 11th July.

I will also be sharing some alcohol-dipped excerpts from the Gallows series over the next few weeks which you may want to keep an eye on since I’ll have a few flash cash-prize giveaways with the answers hidden in the excerpts. Check out my blog every Tuesday from the 8th on for one of these excerpts and earn yourself some drinking money by being the fastest on the draw with the answer when I ask the question on a random day after the excerpt - get ready!

Liquid Happiness: Reasons why July is going to Rock!

I have an exciting announcement to make; starting next month I’ll be going back to monthly themes on the blog! July’s theme is ‘Liquid Happiness’ so there will be some fun and frank posts with a deliciously alcoholic twist. So why should you care? Well, here are some reasons for you:

Flash Fiction Competition:

I’m now taking submissions for an alcohol themed piece of short fiction. Any genre and no limitations other than the word count, which I am setting at a maximum of 500 words. I’ll post the best entry on my blog in July and the winner gets a $20 prize sent through paypal! Entries to be received by 27th June 2014. Winner will be notified on or before 30th June.

Email me your entry with’ Flash Fiction’ in the subject line : sharonstevensonauthor@gmail.com

Ask a Silly Question:

As a just-for-fun trial feature on my blog I invite you all to submit your questions on life, the universe and everything… However I ask that you stay within the monthly themes so basically this time around ask about anything you’ve ever wondered about alcohol! I am somewhat an expert on the drinking of it but I can’t – scratch that, won’t, - promise that my answers will be accurate in any conceivable way! So what do you get out of asking me silly questions, other than allowing me to be my wonderfully weird self in reply?

Well I invite you to email me links to your facebook page and twitter along with your question and I will like/friend and follow because you are quite clearly awesome :)

Anything else I can ’like’ for you, let me know. If you have a blog send me a link and I will tweet your latest post. If you have books on amazon send me the link and I will tweet about your books.

Feel like asking a silly question?

Email me with ‘Silly Question’ in the subject line: sharonstevensonauthor@gmail.com

Note: Along with your question and links be sure to let me know what name you want me to use in the blog post and if you want me to include one of the links in the post then let me know which one! I will stop taking questions on the 27th June.

Other Reasons:

So what more could you want? Well I’ll be doing a couple of giveaways, sharing with you some of my favourite cocktails and of course there will be an alcohol doused excerpt shared from the next Gallows novel ’Hell Halved’. I may even share a few drunken tales of my own but I suppose you’ll just have to come back if you want to find out more about that…

For now get emailing me your boozy short stories and crazy questions; I can’t wait to read them! Cheers! :)

Format Wars: eBooks vs Paperbacks

Being the book addict that I am, I often come across problems that normal non-addicted people don’t seem to have. Today I’m going to look at a subject that divides many a book lover: what’s your preferred reading format: eBook or Paperback?

Okay, not being very technically savvy I spent a long time preferring good old fashioned paperbacks. Then about a year and a half ago I got a Kindle. I was undecided for the first six months or so. I still liked getting hard copies of my favourite author’s books – they look so pretty on my over-flowing book shelves! Then I started to get used to the one-click ordering system and that’s when I was swayed – I could have the latest releases from my favourite authors instantly, no waiting! I was in love. But is this a bad romance or true blue devotion? I decided to figure it out….

eBooks

The Highs

Instant Gratification – The ability to obtain the books you want to read instantly at the click of a button. No more waiting. The postman’s knock no longer sets your heart a flutter and you no longer feel the need to race to the book shop on your lunch-break or days off.

Low Cost – eBooks are generally so much cheaper than physical copies. There are often free deals and cheap offers too so it’s easy to find books that cost less than paperbacks. Even if you factor in the cost of the device in the first year, if you read more than say 12 books a year you are still probably going to be much better off with a Kindle than buying paperbacks.

Anonymity – No-one has any idea what you’re reading. It could be Shakespeare or it could be monster porn (or anything in between, I’m not telling you those are your only options LOL). There’s no judgement from strangers when you read in public – unless they are somewhat creepy and attempt to read over your shoulder on the bus ride home that is.

Light Weight – I find the Kindle lighter and easier to carry around than a paperback. I have a cover on it to prevent damage but it’s still thin enough to fit into even a small handbag.

The Lows

Compulsive Downloading – You develop a compulsive disorder for downloading everything that is available for free. Your Kindle quickly fills up with books and you don’t remember what any of the books are supposed to be about. The unending list of titles give virtually no clues to what the books are about and they linger on your device, unread for days, weeks, months.

Removing books – Occasionally, no matter how carefully you chose a book, one will come along that does something to make you angry. The fun of chucking said book in the recycling bin in an enraged fashion no longer applies. It’s really not as satisfying when you just have to click a button to remove the offending book from your device.

Reading Series – It’s much easier to end up reading books in the wrong order when they’re on a device. Unless you know what order they are in or there’s a clue in the title, you may well wind up doing what I’ve managed to do several times now – reading series books in the wrong order. It’s not always totally obvious by reading the book and it can spoil surprises big time.

Batteries – They run out. I usually only have to charge mine once a week and I get about 10-15 hours out of it so that’s not bad but it totally sucks if you forget to charge it and it runs out right when you have a long train journey ahead.

Paperbacks

The Highs

That New Book Smell – book addicts know what I’m talking about. There’s nothing quite like it.

Adding to your Collection – I’ve been a bit of a collector (or hoarder as my husband would put it) ever since I was a kid and that obsession has always included books; used to be the likes of Nancy Drew and Point Horror and now it’s mostly urban fantasy books. I love having a complete collection and it kind of annoys me that some of my series runs are now incomplete because I got the Kindle version for quickness or cheapness.

Special Books – I can’t say I have a lot of them myself but special edition books and copies signed by the author are never going to be replaced by eBooks and I wouldn’t want them to be. As a collector I appreciate the need for these things and the excitement that getting them can bring.

Treasured Memories – I have many a pleasant memory of being lost in a good book over the years and I tend to associate those memories with physical books. I have two thoroughly battered Stephen King short story collections that I read over and over again when I was about 12-14. They really got me into the horror genre and I’ll always remember the thrill of discovering this awesome writer who captured my imagination so well with his words.

The Lows

Stiff thumbs – If you’re reading for any length of time finger pains are par for the course!

Book hoarding - The truth is physical books take up space. If you read a lot like I do you’re quickly going to find yourself calling your spare room (or another random room/s in your house) ’the book cupboard’ because they are pretty much all you can see when you open the door. Physical books can and will take over your house, given the opportunity.

Awful covers – That amazing book you’ve been waiting for comes out and has a hideous or inappropriate cover that you’re embarrassed to be seen with. I used to hate reading Kim Harrison books in public because Rachel was made to look like a whore on the cover and I just knew random strangers on the train were assuming I was reading erotica.

Wear & Tear – I hate it when I mangle a book because I’ve been carrying it around in my bag. Unfortunately I mostly read on the commute to work so a lot of my books have wear and tear not relating to reading them over and over again. Hardbacks tend to last better but are a lot more awkward to read, and carry.

My Conclusions

It’s all a matter of what you’re used to. When all I read was paperbacks those were what I loved and there are still nostalgic reasons for wanting to read in this format. When I stopped reading paperbacks and switched to Kindle, I grew to love this more and these days when a book I want doesn’t come in a Kindle version it is highly likely to sit on a shelf gathering dust for months before I actually bother to read it, no matter how much I love the author or series. I’m definitely a Kindle fan now and I can see this love affair going the distance!

So, do you agree? Or do you have a brilliant argument that will overturn mine in an instant?

What reasons do you have for preferring one format over the other?

Don’t be shy to comment!

How to Write a Review the Quick and Easy Way

Firstly, I’d like to thank everyone who has left a review for one or more of my books so far; you are all totally awesome and I very much appreciate it. So here’s the deal; I would love to get some more reviews on my Gallows series of books and so I’ve come up with the following proposal:

I will make Book #6 ‘Spirit Splintered’ free if I can get to 100 Amazon reviews on each of the first five books in this series by 30/11/14!

Note: Book #5 Hell Halved comes out in July. The reviews would be required by 30/11/2014 as Book #6 Spirit Splintered will be released in December, but that’s 8 months away so there’s plenty of time to get your reviews in. This shouldn’t be too difficult a task considering there are already 38 reviews (between Amazon US & UK) on the first book; it means less than 1% of the people who downloaded this book just need to post a simple review. So basically you can help make book #6 free if you leave a review (or 5!).

This needn’t be difficult and I’m here to help make it even easier!

Let a reviewer teach you how to write a review – me!

I’ve been publishing for the last year and a half and I very quickly realised how important reviews are to all authors, in particular indie authors like me. Being an avid reader, I started leaving reviews for all the indie books I’ve read and last year left 175 reviews on Amazon & Goodreads.

At first it was difficult: I had no idea where to start, what to say and how to say it. I persisted, learned along the way and then when eventually everything clicked I came up with my own format and began hammering out 3-4 reviews a week. It was easy and I’m going to give you a quick tutorial right here.

Remember, reviews are really just opinions, and everyone has an opinion.

So what’s your opinion of this book? Did you like it? Why or why not?

There’s your first line right there and if it hits the right word count for Amazon (20 words minimum) you can leave it at that for a short and to the point review; mega simple.

Examples:

I liked this because it had exciting plot lines. I was never bored reading this!

This book was highly entertaining. I liked the characters and found their banter amusing.

This book was pretty good. I liked that every character was well written and the plot had lots of surprising twists. It was maybe a bit long and the ending was a cliff-hanger.

Who would you recommend it to, or why do you think others will like it?

This just expands on the first question but is helpful to customers looking for books that match their tastes.

Examples:

Anyone who likes an action-packed story should enjoy this book.

If you like urban fantasy with a witty sense of humour and surprising plot twists you should really try this out.

Fans of supernatural series like (insert an existing series name) or books by (insert author name) should like this too.

What were your first thoughts on finishing the book?

This is an honest personal reaction and makes for great review writing material!

Examples:

I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Wow, that ending was so surprising!

And there you have it; reviews the quick and easy way! You don’t need to be a book blogger or an expert at dissecting novels to write a review. You have an opinion and all you have to do is write it down.

The same principle can be applied to any book so feel free to catch the review writing bug – it can be addictive and fun, and it will most certainly be appreciated!

Here are the links to my books on Amazon:

Amazon US: http://www.amazon.com/Sharon-Stevenso...

Amazon UK: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sharon-Steven...

I will be posting monthly updates on this proposal so you can see how close I’m getting to making the sixth Gallows novel free. If you have any questions, please ask. Alternatively, I will be asking myself a few questions on this next week for anyone who’s not sure what this is all about so you could wait and check that out if you prefer.

Please Note: As mentioned in my previous blog post in order to make a book permanently free on Amazon I need to make it free on Smashwords who will distribute it free to other retailers such as iTunes and Barnes & Noble, and then Amazon customers need to get Amazon to price-match it. So if I reach the right number of reviews on its release the book will be marked at the lowest possible price on Amazon ($0.99/£0.77) until it is price-matched and made available for free permanently.

Things Are Changing For The Gallows Novels...

I have a few important announcements to make regarding The Gallows Novels:

Blood Bound (Gallows, #1) by Sharon Stevenson

*Availability for The Gallows Novels outside of Amazon

Book #1: Blood Bound is now available on Smashwords to download for free. Check it out here: https://www.smashwords.com/books/view...

Book #2: Demon Divided is also available on Smashwords. Here’s the link for that: https://www.smashwords.com/books/view...

Book #3: Fate Fallen will be uploaded to Smashwords on or around the 1st May.

Book #4: Curse Corrupted will be uploaded to Smashwords on the same day as Fate Fallen.

So what does this mean, you may ask? Well, Smashwords – as well as allowing anyone to download/purchase my eBooks in numerous handy formats from their own awesome site - will distribute my books to such other awesome places as Barnes & Noble and the i-tunes store so they will be available to a much bigger audience, which is very cool!

Note: As Blood Bound is free on Smashwords, anyone who wants to download it from Amazon for free can notify them of the lower price so that they will price-match it. I hope to make it free on all platforms utilising this facility so if you notify Amazon of the lower price I thank you kindly in advance!

*Price Changes on Amazon

Books #2 & #3: Demon Divided & Fate Fallen will be going up in price to $2.99 / £1.85 on 1st April, so if you’ve read Blood Bound and hadn’t quite gotten around to grabbing the next books in the series, now would be the time to get them while they are still $0.99 / £0.77 -

*Coming Soon

I have some exciting ideas up my sleeves including:

*Making Book #6 in this series free if the other Gallows novels hit 100 reviews each before 1st December this year (this is when the 6th book will be due for release). My thinking behind this proposal is simple: my books have had a decent number of downloads but I’m not seeing a lot of reviews so far. There will be more news on this proposal next month, including a fun little review writing tutorial!

*Making Back From The Dark (Teri’s Story) an email exclusive story to reward fans who sign up to my email list – the list will be up and running some time in May and I will announce it right here on my blog as well as providing a link to it on my Email List page on this website. The first chapter is currently available to read on Wattpad but the full story will only be made available to those who sign up for the list so if you really wanna read the rest you know what you need to do! If you need other reasons to join my list you’ll also receive news on release dates, special offers/discounts/giveaways, first chance at ARC copies of my books, and I will even ask you to vote on what the next email exclusive story should be about! Check back in May for more info on the list. This is the link to the first chapter on Wattpad http://www.wattpad.com/9707276-back-f...

That’s all for now! Thanks for reading and let me know if you have any questions on any of the above announcements.
