MindHub and Date Runner Correlation
Today we will show how people can find their approach style using the MindHub system drives. MindHub is a personality profiling system which show from motivators how social or proactive a given personality is.
https://medium.com/media/b4c40d5eac6dd1010a30487efcfbcd2a/hrefWhere someone falls on the spectrum between reactive and proactive behaviors correlates to the part of the Date Runner system called the Approach Style, how introverted or extraverted a person is also has some effect on Approach Style. Approach Style during dating is about comfort with certain kinds of communication and the time frame it takes for people to initiate or respond to psychological and physical intimacy. The Approach Style is divided into four categories represented numerically: minus two, minus one, plus one and plus two. Minuses need the longest time frame to feel comfortable with intimacy and prefer verbal approaches before becoming physical. In contrast, pluses aim for quicker understanding and are willing to close physical distances quickly. They require little time to assert what they want with a potential match.
If we look at the MindHub circle we can map the correlation with the four approach styles. For convenience, we will use color to represent each type: Plus twos will be Red, Plus ones will be Orange, Minus one will be Green, and Minus twos will be Blue. We will overlay these colors on the MindHub cycle. Every MindHub profile is comprised of three drives which form a shape, most often a triangle. When color is overlayed you can look at the colors within the shape to determine the approach style. We can see that the plus twos are positioned on the social and proactive parts of the MindHub circle, while minus twos are positioned on the reactive and introverted side. Toward the middle of the circle, we have minus ones and plus ones.
In order to determine anyone’s approach style, there are a series of steps that should be done in order, to filter out mistypes. The first step is to simply determine if there is a color predominantly filling the shape. If so, congrats, you found it. If it looks like colors are split about half and half, then the second step would be to ask if there are two primary drives in one color, if so the approach style is the color of those drives. In the case that you don’t have two drives in one color and still have a split, then you must look at the levels of the drives, if there is an extreme drive the approach style will be the color of that drive. If no extreme drives and the profile is extraverted, then lean to plus one.

Let’s see how this works in practice. In this example, we have a person with primary Greed, Ego, and Lust. We can see that the dominant color is Red meaning this Mindhub profile is a plus two in the Date Runner system. In this example, we have a person with Ambition, Security and Principles. There are three colors within the shape, but the dominant color is Green, meaning that this profile is a minus one. This profile has Ego, Boredom, and Principles, the dominant color is Orange, so we see a clear plus one. Let’s see some more difficult to determine examples. In the case that we have a profile with Regret, Attachment, and Security, we will see that the triangle has an even split of Blue and Green. We have two drives positioned in the Blue area, so we know this is a minus two. Lastly, we have Principles, Resentment, and Revenge, a profile split with Green and Orange, it doesn’t have two drives in one color and has no extreme drives, but the profile is extraverted, meaning it is a plus one.
Once you get comfortable analyzing approach style, you can use this method to understand more quickly what to expect from potential dating partners. You can also assume probable personality drives based on the approach style you’re observing.

Date Runner Analysis — Black Swan (2010)
When minuses try to become Pluses, bad things can happen. Here at Date Runner, we define dating approach styles on a plus or minus spectrum. Minuses are uncomfortable with physical initiation of intimacy and pluses are stimulated by environments and people who can bridge physical distances quickly. For the most part, a minus is not less sexual than a plus, minuses are simply not comfortable initiating or receiving sexual advances in short time frames or from those they do not consider a potential partner.
https://medium.com/media/fcd2d1af878b19548c19a9668bf95155/hrefThe Black Swan is a film that perfectly portrays the differences between competing women who have the same score in terms of physical appearance, but different comfort levels regarding sexual approachability. The film also portrays something which is relatable to many people who have been in an environment where being more sexually approachable is advantageous for their career or opportunities, or find themselves under critique for their natural instincts. Generally, it’s quite true that people often pressure other people to become more similar to themselves, and pathologize or demonize differences and this can be especially obvious in dating. What is often described as the madonna whore complex or the light and dark feminine, for the date runner system is simply a difference in approach style preference and the predictable responses of those involved from either end of the approach style spectrum.

In the film, Nina is an ambitious prima ballerina who is beautiful, but focuses almost solely on her art. She has a perfect score in the appearance category, but her approach style is not appreciated in her work environment. Nina is given the main role in swan lake, but her director says she is only perfect for the part of the white swan, though the role requires a transformation to the black swan character. The White Swan is a character who is pure and innocent and the Black Swan is passionate and dangerous. Nina is put into the position of proving that she can play the darker role. After the director states his problem with Nina’s performance, Nina’s competitor, a new ballerina to the company named Lily arrives on the stage. When Lily dances she is immediately praised by the director, in contrast to Nina she is artless and natural in her movements. “Watch the way she moves, imprecise but effortless, she’s not faking it” he tells Nina. This subtly shows to Nina that the director believes that Lily has without effort that which Nina has to work hard for and that Nina’s feeling and expression is fake because her art is so cultivated and practiced. Faking it, also has a sexual undertone, implying Nina could not enjoy dance or other forms of sensuality. Predictably, Lily begins a sexual relationship with the director. In contrast, in this part of the film, another character describes Nina as a “frigid little girl” and asks accusingly what Nina did to make the director change his mind about her playing the principle role. When the director asks Nina if she is a virgin, she responds “no, of course not”. Though it is up to the viewer to understand whether Nina is immature or not, what is clearly shown is that she experiences people in her environment as intrusive (and her naivete may be that she doesn’t see them as abusive). She is not given proper physical or psychological space to be herself and becomes increasingly paranoid and terrified of the people around her.
This descent from wishing to please someone to self-destructive acts can be analogized to what some minus women go through while dating pluses. When minuses see a plus man praise or respond well to other women who are pluses, they are liable to believe that the plus woman is more beautiful and successful than they are themselves because they are seeing them be approached more or given gifts or opportunities. What minuses often don’t understand is that men will see high scoring women as equally beautiful in appearance, but may prefer to approach a woman who is plusy-er as it takes less time or effort to understand what will happen with a possible connection. When their dating counterpart is a plus and so is expecting very different behaviors from them than what comes naturally, minuses attempt to fill in the gaps of their understanding. They can think they need to “up their game” or become better looking or act differently. When minuses understand that the Plus approach is to see all options, they tend to see it as the plus searching for their “replacement” or backup. In Nina’s case, we see her burst into tears when she is told Lily will be her alternate and she begs the director saying “she’s after me, she’s trying to replace me.” His words of assurance are “Just give a great performance and you won’t have to worry about Lily or anybody else”. In some circumstances, minuses may feel the need to prove that they are equally passionate or expressive as pluses and may engage in physical acts which are antithetical to their own nature to do so. This creates confusion and often is destructive, as anyone who acts against their nature is prone to regret. Minus women will experience the consequences of casual sex quite differently to plus women who will shrug off negative encounters and move on much more easily. A minus tends to be more deeply affected. In the film, Nina is bombarded with the message that she needs to “let go” of herself and allow herself to seduce and be seduced. The director touches Nina and tells her to respond to it, acting as if her responses are broken. She eventually succumbs to his advances and it leads her to ever more self-lacerating behavior. Essentially, the minus woman gets caught in a cycle where she feels the need to show or perform passion to prove that she is as deserving as a plus of what, or who, she desires. Nina may or may not desire the director in the film, but she desires to be seen normally and not as cold or broken.

Dark and Light feminine are social constructs which represent the pressure society puts on women to be sexually available or not, and have little to do with the qualities of any particular women. In some periods of history or in some places, the pressure will be toward the minus end of the spectrum and at other times, and in other places, there may be increased energy spent in pressuring women to be more plus-y, or to put out. While Black Swan is usually understood as a movie about the perils of seeking perfection, it can also be taken as a film about the impossibility of being both the minus and the plus at once. In a world where we are constantly judged by others standards, we should be vigilant about preserving, and feeling good about, our own.

MindHub Analysis — Friends (TV Series)
In today’s video, we will take a look at the MindHub profile’s of the eponymous friends in Friends.
https://medium.com/media/fddadb95b8913cb79c46492c01c9d05a/hrefFirst, up Monica Gellar. Monica is chided often for being uptight and wanting things just so. In the MindHub system, the desire for maintaining control of the situation or environment can come from a few different places. In Monica’s case, we see that it is stemming from her desire for Competence. When she is annoyed or frustrated, it is because she perceives something is not ideally physically arranged or disturbs her sense of beauty. This sense of perfectionism extends to her culinary sensibility as well. Since cooking is her job, we can say that her life direction or aim in the MindHub system is Competence or wanting to be exemplary in one’s chosen profession. As the show goes on, she also directs herself toward a Family aim, starting her own family with Chandler. In terms of behavior, Monica also shows an extreme level of a drive we call Revenge which is called Autocracy. Monica has no qualms about bossing people around, cutting them off or ordering them to do what needs to be done in her eyes. Monica also shows primary Ego. She believes she deserves recognition for both her professionalism, her taste and other personal qualities. She is uber confident in any competitive situations and aggressive in her pursuit to win. Monica also shows primary Boredom and is content to indulge in lots of silly activities. Her goofiness and the family and friends aims remaining high priorities, balance out her otherwise overly strict personality.

Next, the crowd favorite, Chandler Bing. For Chandler, life is about people. He is most concerned with friends and lovers, and in the early part of the show is particularly focused on finding his other half. His search for love is a subject of quite a number of funny episodes, and it shows a side of him that is very self-conscious and that tends to idealize women he would like to begin relationships with. Though he is quite sarcastic on a daily basis, when it comes to sincere discussion Chandler is quite careful with both his significant others and his friends not wanting to hurt anyone. Chandler’s combination of aims and drives is endearing, because he has to deal with a lot of personal tension. He is lonely and often annoyed with situations in his environment. Chandler has primary Resentment in the MindHub system, meaning he often believes that others are to blame for his misfortunes. In a few episodes, we get a glimpse of Chandler’s relationships with his estranged parents who he blames anecdotally for his addiction to smoking and his sarcasm. His father performs drag, which is embarrassing and painful for him and takes him a long time to accept. In his relationship with Janice, he is continually annoyed and blames her characteristic laugh and personality quirks for their unhappiness as a couple. Since he has so much difficulty managing his own feelings and trying not to hurt others, he ends up running away from her, even going to Yemen. He is not graceful in forming or ending relationships until the latter seasons of the show. Resentment in general, when it is not in combination with other inner drives or extreme drives, can be expressed in sarcasm or in other quite humorous ways. Chandler also has primary Boredom, which is shown in the amount of funny games he plays, his million subscriptions to various magazines, and his love of television. He also shows primary Attachment, as he is ready to sacrifice or support close people. He is willing even to sacrifice a potential love interest and is tortured by guilt when he falls for Joey’s girlfriend. Likely, Chandler also has Friends as a relatively high priority and throughout the show he listens and gives sincere advice to his close ones. His mix of grouchiness and sincerity is relatable to fans.

On to Joey Tribbiani. Joey is a simple guy, he wants nice food, beautiful women and to act. His most obvious aim in life is to have a great variety of new experiences, which is an aim in the MindHub we call Fun. Perhaps less obvious is a second aim we call “hierarchy”. Joey wants to make it. He wants to become famous and rise in the ranks of the film industry. Joey wants to succeed in his acting career, but he shows no sign of having an aim we call Competence, which means desire to build up expertise. Surprisingly, it is not so rare to find people who want to climb the social ladder without caring too much about their skill, but in Joey’s case his looks and charisma help him get at least halfway there. Joey also enjoys attention and has a primary drive we call Ego. He thinks he deserves roles and women based on his looks and other attributes. The other friends often make jokes about his womanizing and we see him swap intimate partners frequently in the first seasons of the show, as well as in his spinoff which was supposed to take place after the show. His Ego would be highly functional for his chosen career. Finally, we see Joey participating in many unrelated activities. He doesn’t seem to have any real hobbies, but he has strange pets, plays games and gambles, and is willing to do whatever his friends seem up for. This points to Joey having a boredom drive. This combination of Ego, Lust, and Boredom is quite social and very proactive, meaning he is prone to impulsive behavior. Joey lacks any inner drives and so does not seem edgy or intense in any way.

Next, we have Rachel Green. Rachel’s direction in life is to achieve independence and to have the resources to do so. At the start of the show, she is breaking away from her fiance and the support of her family. She is faced with the challenge of making her own money. In the MindHub, we would say she has a Finance aim foremost, followed by an aim we call Friends. Often the second aim bolsters the first, and in Rachel’s case she is able to depend on her friends for housing and some monetary support initially. Her drives are largely in alignment with her aims. She shows a drive we call Greed in the system, which is wanting more money. We see her always asking for advance payment for work not yet done and for raises from her time at the coffee shop through her more prestigious jobs. We also witness Rachel’s shopping addiction throughout the run of the series. She is able to make this work in her favor later by choosing a career in fashion. Rachel also seems to have a primary Ego drive, since she seems overly confident about what she deserves professionally and in her dating life. Her last drive is likely boredom as she also doesn’t seem focused in her activities. The scenes shown of her at work show scattered energy and preoccupation with other ideas even when she’s on the clock. She also seems always available for whatever her friends want to do.

Fifth, Ross Gellar. Ross is a nerd. Ross has a competence aim. He loves his dinosaurs and he will continue to study dinosaurs intensively for the rest of his fictitious life. Also a very strong aim for Ross is what we call Intimate. People with high intimate aim prioritize their significant others or potential significant others above other areas of life. One risk of having Intimate very high in the aims is that there is a tendency to give away control of important decisions to other people or partners. The risk may be even higher if combined with a primary Attachment drive, which Ross does seem to have. Primary Attachment is a readiness to suffer losses for close ones. Even when Rachel and Joey get together he is able to overcome his intense feelings to support them. Because of the risks related to his high intimate aim, the loss of relationships hits him quite hard, and after he experiences many break ups the disappointment accumulates. Ross shows primary Regret in the MindHub, meaning he is self-recriminating for past choices. Ross is often quite whiny and unsure of his choices. Ross’s last drive is less shown and more told on the show, but we know that he continues to research, write papers, and teach in an academic settings. He would have a primary Ambition drive in the MindHub. This combination of drives makes him the only predominantly reactive character in the group.

Last but not least there’s Phoebe Buffet. Phoebe has had a very interesting life leading up to the show. She often refers to her time as a homeless woman living in the streets of New York. Her upbringing and experience informs her life aim. Phoebe is explicit about her commitment to her own offbeat brand of Spirituality and what she can do to be helpful to her Community. In the MindHub system, she has both Spirituality and Community aims, meaning she is trying to become a better version of herself and to serve the needs of others. She seems to act in accordance with her aims, particularly as she develops a primary Compassion drive. She is often seen volunteering for various causes, doing telethons, working in soup kitchens, ringing bells on the corner at Christmas, and even going so far as to offer herself as a surrogate mother for her brother and his teacher-wife. She also shows primary Principles as she is willing to sacrifice for ideas she believes in. She refuses to give money or support to large corrupt organizations and often tells the other friends the way they should be acting, especially when they fight. Phoebe does seem to swing a bit between two other primary aims during the show’s run. She shows primary Ego, particularly as a performer. When she has a guitar she’s a bit of a prima donna and expects recognition and rapt admiration from everyone. She also sometimes shows unexpected bouts of Resentment. Even when she is volunteering, she can take jabs at the people she’s supposed to be helping. She can also resort to physical violence quite quickly. She is less worried about her close attachments than the other friends.

Date Runner Analysis — Disney Princess
In this video, we will be breaking down approach style in the date runner system by analyzing the communication and response styles of different Disney princesses.
https://medium.com/media/a276ff1241234f5719e140d635303654/hrefIn Date Runner what we call “pluses” are comfortable with both verbal and physical initiating behaviors while “minuses” are typically uncomfortable
with physical touch or quick advances in the initial stages of dating. Luckily for us, the princesses from early Disney films cover the whole range of approach styles from minus two to plus two. Remember, minus twos are performing minimal verbal approaches only, minus ones are performing active verbal approaches but still with resistance to physical contact, plus ones are performing minimal physical and active verbal approaches, and plus twos are performing active physical and verbal approaches. Please note that Passion jumps can occur when people desire someone to an extreme degree or are under the influence of substances.
We’ll start with Snow White. Snow White opens with the song “someday my
prince will come” showing Snow White prefers the waiting game, and for the man to make the first steps. As the movie progresses, she finds options
for dating, though she doesn’t recognize them as dating material or their advances as flirtation. This can be quite common among minus twos as they can miss signs that others are attracted to them. When the prince finally comes, the film makes us wait till the last moment, he kisses her and she doesn’t appear to kiss back. Though we can’t be too sure what is going on in Snow’s mind or body, we think it’s likely her reaching out her arms to the prince might only be her attempt to fully wake up and get out of her coffin. Minus twos have the longest timeline for decision making regarding potential partners.

Though for some, Aurora’s storyline may seem to resemble Snow White their characters are quite different. While they may be similar in her dreaminess and willingness to wait for the prince, don’t be fooled; Aurora is not passive — she is just asleep. Aurora doesn’t have to wait at all. Her longing song, where she dresses up and flirts with her owl, is interrupted by the hunky prince himself. When he arrives, she begins dancing with the
prince, who approached suddenly in the woods, without hesitation. If a woman is into spontaneous dances with hot strangers in the forest she is a plus. Her long wait while asleep is incidental.

In another forest scene, we see a very different response from Pocahontas. While she appears quite sensual while alone in the forest, she loses her cool confidence completely when she sees someone she likes. When she first encounters John Smith, she watches him for a time unnoticed and when he turns to look at her she runs away quickly. As John Smith catches up with her, she shows signs of self-consciousness fixing her hair and looking up at him shyly. Though some body language experts might claim there are signs of potential passion, we can only assume a passion jump might have occurred from her consequent behavior. She does allow John Smith to make physical contact. Her hesitance and the time it takes John to
court her would place her firmly in the minus one category.

Now for some Disney seduction. Megara has the distinction of being Disney’s only plus two princess, if she is a princess and if you don’t count Jessica Rabbit as one also. She is clearly in total control of her encounters and uses her femininity to get what she wants. She often exaggerates situations or devises them so that she can force the physical contact with Hercules, for example pretending to fall down the stairs and into his arms. Her communication is also full of innuendo, quite naughty for a children’s film.

What can we say about Cinderella? She comes from a dark corner and has never had much attention, and like many minus ones doesn’t know how attractive she is. She is grateful for her beautiful night at the ball though not so comfortable in the spotlight. She leaves in a hurry and is overwhelmed by the prince. Her courtship though dramatic still manages to be mostly dignified due to her grace and politeness.

Ariel is definitely a hidden plus though in a quite playful way. She is very active in her physical approach even though verbal communication is off the table while dating. We speculate if she’d had a voice, she would
have been quite talkative. She’s very comfortable in various states of
undress and likes to groom publicly. She has the natural confidence of a performer and is shown as a diva in her opening number. People who are in show business are more likely to be pluses.

Belle is a bit odd and isolated from those around her. She is smarter than people in her town, which puts her in a difficult position. The options are quite limited and she is unhappy with even the best option available. She perceives many qualities as buffoonish and likely has a long blacklist. This is potentially, why it takes the Beast so long to gain her affection. He must prove he isn’t rude or stupid, unlike everyone she’s known. The Beast himself is likely a plus and must change his communication style and slow his advances even though he is against the clock and might lose everything.

Jasmine also appears to be very comfortable with her body, but it might just be very hot in Agrabah. She is not afraid to initiate touch nor unwilling
to receive it after brief acquaintance. She has a near kiss with Aladdin after only a short time on her first visit to his humble home. Jasmine is crafty and seems to be trying to find the truth and weigh her options. In contrast, a minuses demeanor is more artless. However, her designs are not as calculated or assertive as a plus twos might be.

Mulan can’t be assessed by the Date Runner system, as she doesn’t enter into any period where she is either actively or passively dating. We see early that Mulan is disinterested in the matchmaking process and has very different ideas for her future. For most of the film she is too busy thinking
about war. Though, when the prince comes to her home she does invite him to stay for dinner, which might be the beginning of something.

MindHub-MBTI Correlations
The Myers Briggs Assessment is one of the most popular instruments in the world, despite its lack of scientific validation. People find obvious benefit to utilizing it for descriptions of themselves and others and look to it for insights regarding their relationships, career suitability, or other areas of personal development. Here at MindHub, we like to encourage people
to understand both themselves and others based on their observed behaviors without making too many assumptions. However, when we look at the MBTI types strengths and weaknesses we can make a sound hypothesis about the likely behaviors or drives you would expect to see looking at each type. When you look at MBTI types through this more
behavioral lens, you see how some common stereotypes of each type might break down.
The MBTI uses four dichotomies to categorize people. They are introversion versus extraversion, sensing versus intuition, thinking versus feeling and judging versus perceiving. The introversion or extraversion dichotomy loosely correlates to the vertical axis of the MindHub with extraverted personalities showing drives located in the top hemisphere and introverted personalities typically displaying drives on the lower hemisphere. The judging and perceiving axis is correlated with our reactive to proactive horizontal axis, so we’d expect J types to have drives
on the left half of the MindHub circle and P types to have drives on the right half.
There are also correlations between MindHub’s inner drives and preferences for introversion and intuition. The tendency to have inner drives can only be assessed if you look at the cognitive functions of MBTI types, as types with strengths which are introverted or intuitive are not always obvious from the four letter MBTI dichotomy code alone. Inner Drives can also be predicted by a measure of assertiveness or turbulence, with more turbulent personalities of any type having a higher likelihood to have an inner drive. In MindHub we believe inner drives develop due to failed aims and any personality can develop inner drives after disappointments. Thinking versus feeling and intuition versus sensing are less directly correlated to MindHub’s circle, but we can see how they are represented in the combinations of displayed drives. Now let’s look at the MindHub for each of the types.
ENFJ are Extraverted Intuitive Feeling Perceivers in the MBTI. 16 personalities nicknames them “The Giver” In MindHub, they are social reactive personalities who tend to display Ambition, Attachment and sometimes Lust as primary drives. Interestingly, “the giver” in our system is unlikely to have Compassion as a primary drive, though they can be drawn to social enterprise. The ENFJ is more likely to focus on giving time and energy to the larger society and to their close ones when they are recognized or revered. They tend to grow toward Ego or Greed drives depending on their environment or successes. They are unlikely to have inner drives, unless they are turbulent.

INFJ are Introverted Intuitive Feeling Judgers in the MBTI. 16 personalities nicknames them “The Counsellor”. In MindHub they are introverted reactive personalities who often have Attachment and Compassion, and can have Ambition and Security drives. Though they can be values-driven individuals, they can be careful or rather passive in accumulating information or taking action in their environment. Of the personalities they are amongst the least likely to display impulsive behaviors, unless unhealthy. They are more likely to have an inner drive and of the inner drives most likely to have Principles.

ENFP are Extraverted Intuitive Feeling Perceivers in the MBTI. 16 personalities nicknames them “The Champion”. In MindHub they are social proactive personalities who are most likely to display Ego, Lust, Greed and Boredom as primary drives with Boredom the most common drive. They may develop Ambition as a primary or secondary drive, though, when this is the case, they suffer the tensions of having Boredom and Ambition polar drives. Though the stereotype of the Champion seems
happy-go-lucky and pro-social, MindHub shows that the ENFPs tendency for expansion in ideas and plans can lead to undirected behavior, impulsivity and even vice. They are unlikely to have inner drives.

INFP are Introverted Intuitive Feeling Perceivers in the MBTI. 16 personalities nicknames them “The Idealist” Their stereotype is a daydreamer who is quite happy to live in a fantasy bubble of their own imagining. In the MindHub system they are introverted proactive personalities very likely to display primary Compassion and Boredom, and somewhat likely to have Greed. They are often curious and acquisitive individuals. Though they are touted to be “ideational” they are somewhat less likely to develop the inner drive we call “principles” than their INFJ cousins. They are also quite proactive meaning they can display spontaneous behavior and are very unlikely to develop reactive drives.

ENTP are Extraverted Sensing Feeling Perceivers in the MBTI. 16 personalities nicknames them “The Visionary” and their stereotype is entrepreneurial. In MindHub an ENTP would likely display Ambition, Lust, Ego, Greed or Boredom as primary drives. They are likely to be doing many activities at once and may have the same Ambition and Boredom polar drive tension as ENFPs, however ENTPs are more likely to have Greed and Lust drives than ENFPs. The combination of Boredom and Greed can create
a personality strongly attracted to finding creative means to achieve personal gains, but which can be inconsistent in energy and progress. ENTPs are among the least likely of the types to develop inner drives.

INTP are Introverted Intuitive Thinking Perceivers. 16 personalities nicknames them “The Thinker”. They are often stereotyped as a scientist. In MindHub they are introverted perceiving types and commonly display Boredom, Compassion and sometimes Greed and Lust. Like their INFP cousins they are driven by curiosity or by the acquisition of knowledge in their fields of interest, but tend to acquire new information inconsistently or unsystematically. Their proactive tendencies make them open to experimentation which they are able to do alone. They are among the most individualistic of personalities and unlikely to develop either reactive drives or inner drives unless unhealthy. If they do develop an inner drive it tends to be Regret.

ENTJ are Extraverted Sensing Thinking Judgers in the MBTI. 16 personalities nicknames them “The Commander”. In MindHub ENTJ are likely to have Ambition, Attachment, Lust, and Ego and may have Security and Greed. ENTJs are drawn strongly to leadership positions and often provide structure for organizations or projects. This combination of drives can push these personalities toward not only consistent work but overwork, pursuing achievements or acknowledgement for themselves and their teams. They are unlikely to have inner drives.

INTJ are Introverted Intuitive Thinking Judgers in the MBTI. 16 personalities nicknames them “The Mastermind”. By stereotype, they are considered the most strategic of personalities and in memes are often portrayed as chess masters. In the MindHub INTJ are introverted reactive
personalities who tend to show Attachment, Security, and Ambition, with some likelihood to develop Compassion. Given their reactiveness, they can be passive or inert in uncertain situations. They have a greater tendency to develop inner drives, particularly revenge.

ESFJ are Extraverted Sensing Feeling Judgers in the MBTI. 16 personalities nicknames them “The Provider”. They are also very social and reactive. They are most likely to show Ambition, Attachment, and Security drives in their behaviors with some possibility of Lust, Ego, or Compassion drives as a primary or secondary. The strong emphasis on well-being and stability
is usually centered on close people, but can scale to whole communities and manifests as an instinct to provide structure for social groups or institutions. Proactive or impulsive behaviors as well as inner drives are uncommon.

ISFJ are Introverted Sensing Feeling Judgers in the MBTI. 16 personalities nicknames them “The Nurturer”. In MindHub the ISFJ is introverted and reactive and are most likely to display Attachment and Security with some likelihood to develop Compassion or Ambition. Their stereotype is that they give in any way they can and are deeply unselfish. In MindHub they are relatively more likely to nurture their close ones and less likely to show the same level of care for strangers unless they have chosen a caring profession. They are also likely to prioritize their own security rather than the interests of the wider society. They are somewhat unlikely to develop inner drives, but can be drawn to develop primary or secondary principles.

ESTP are Extraverted Sensing Thinking Perceivers in the MBTI. 16 Personalities nicknames them “The Doer”. In MindHub they are proactive and social personalities and are likely to display Lust, Ego, Greed, and Boredom. Their stereotype as a pragmatic problem solver likely stems from their tendency to respond quickly to new information and situations. ESTPs are very unlikely to have any primary or secondary reactive drives and so are often unaware of the consequences of their actions both for themselves and others. ESTPs are unlikely to have inner drives unless
turbulent, but can develop any of the inner drives when disappointed.

ISTP are Introverted Sensing Thinking Perceivers in the MBTI. 16 Personalities nicknames them “The Craftsman”. The stereotype of the ISTP is an action hero or a cowboy who is resourceful under pressure. In the MindHub these are introverted and proactive personalities who likely have Greed and Boredom, and often have Ego and Lust. The combination of boredom and greed creates a personality who is likely to want to create real things in real time, but who may struggle to plan or work consistently toward desired goals. They may develop inner drives if frustrated and tend toward the development of Resentment when unhealthy.

ESFP are Extraverted Sensing Feeling Perceivers in the MBTI. 16 personalities nicknames them “The Performer”. Their stereotype is that they are the life of the party, which may well be the case. In MindHub they are amongst the most proactive and social personalities and they are most likely to display Lust, Ego, Greed, and Boredom. The lack of reactive drives can show a lack of awareness for the consequences of their actions on both self and others. They are unlikely to have inner drives unless turbulent, but can develop primary or secondary resentment.

ISFP are Introverted Sensing Feeling Perceivers in the MBTI. 16 personalities nicknames them “The Composer” and their stereotype is
a gentle artist. In the MindHub they are introverted and proactive and likely to display Compassion, Boredom and Greed, and somewhat likely to have Ego. The combination of compassion and with either greed or ego can lead to unpredictable social effects as they can spontaneously become very
close to others or retreat from individuals and groups equally suddenly. They can be somewhat mysterious to others due to the mix of proactive and inner drives. They are among the most likely to have inner drives and most likely to develop more than one.

ESTJs are Extraverted Sensing Thinking Judgers in the MBTI. 16 personalities nicknames them “The Supervisor”. In MindHub they are reactive and social personalities that are likely to have Ambition, Attachment, and Security as primary drives. They are more unlikely to develop proactive drives than their ENTJ cousins and the least impulsive of the extraverted personalities. ESTJs are more traditional and relatively
more risk-averse than other types that display Ambition. They are unlikely to have inner drives and unlikely to test as turbulent personalities.

ISTJ are Introverted Sensing Thinking Judgers in the MBTI. 16 personalities nicknames them “The Inspector” Their stereotype can be that they are quite robotic and mercurial. In MindHub, they are introverted and reactive personalities likely to display Security, Attachment, and Ambition. They prefer structure and order both in work and in their private lives. They are somewhat likely to develop Compassion and Ego as a secondary drives, however if the development of these drives interfere with their protocols they are unlikely to become permanent. They are one of the most likely types to have inner drives, particularly revenge and principles.

MindHub Analysis — Barbie
Today we will compare the MindHub personalities of the Stereotypical Barbie and Barbie After the Coup in Universal’s 2023 film.
https://medium.com/media/138c0c1e633bb419387408e789c7454f/hrefBarbie is having primary Ego as evidenced by confidence in the way she speaks to others. She is sure that everyone will come to her nightly parties, and others responses will be positive toward her. Boredom is also evident since she is doing things because she has nothing better to do. She is not intentional about her choices. Every person has three Primary Drives, and no fewer, Barbie has only two Drives, therefore, according to MindHub, Stereotypical Barbie is not a person.
Regarding Aims, Barbie starts with Community, because the other Barbies are the necessary social fabric for her life and the Barbies community clearly defines her role in Barbie Land. Her social role is basically a substitution for her personality. Strangely, she is not having Fun but she wants to have more of it. After Kens establish their regime, Barbie progresses toward full-on existential despair. She is overwhelmed by sadness and misses the old quote unquote normalcy, developing Regret. Paradoxically, Regret is what transforms her into a real person, because she now has three Drives.
After restoring the Barbies rule, Barbie feels her Aim Community accomplished and decides to move on with her life. However, having Drives without Aims is what MindHub describes as a child’s profile. Barbie is not sure what to do in the real world, and she has to figure it out as the next step in her development.
A brief note on Ken’s personality. He starts with only Ego in the MindHub Circle, flexing on the beach. His extremely strong Intimate aim carries
huge emotional risks. After failing in his goals with Barbie, he decides to focus on taking real world Hierarchy to Barbie Land. The final summation is that Barbie got a personality, and Ken did not. And that seems to be the real injustice of the story.

Date Runner Analysis — Twilight
In the first and second Twilight films, Bella thinks she is confused over existential and emotional dilemmas regarding her love interests,
but, even when there are vampires and werewolves involved, it’s not that deep or complicated. Given the Date Runner parameters, her choices are predictable.
Bella is a fairly high score in the Date Runner system. Despite a lot of internal dialogue, Bella doesn’t speak very much and her minimal communication style is usually indicative of an approach
style we call a Minus. However, Bella’s physically proactive behaviors
reveal a more passionate personality underneath with a willingness to participate in physical touch which would make her a Plus. A person with a mixed communication style may be what we call a Hidden Plus due to this masking of sexual approachability.
Jacob’s approach style is a Plus as well, as his comfort with his physical self and desire for intimacy with Bella is quite evident. His communication style matches Bella’s perfectly, but his overall score within the system is not as favorable. Jacob is in great shape, but, if we go by the books, falls outside of desirable dimensions, growing in one Summer from 6'1" to 6'7". Tall is great, but too tall means a point deducted in the appearance category. Women may also blacklist physical features and Bella might not be into hairy guys.
Edward, by comparison, is tall, athletic and classically attractive, though some might say he’s a bit vintage or old-fashioned. His family net worth is 34.1 billion and he has some connections in high places, including the Vatican, which gives him top status marks. Under normal conditions Edward would suffer a penalty for being 105 years old and consequently having an 87 year age gap with Bella, but in the Twilight series vampires do not age like humans do. Edward was turned into a vampire when he was
17 and still looks and acts that way.
Given all this, Edward would be deemed a Great Catch, whereas Jacob is just a good match. As many times as Jacob may try to impress Bella with his shirtless physique, he is doomed.

MindHub Analysis — Joker (2019)
Today we are going to make a controversial claim, that Joaquin Phoenix’s 2019 version of the Joker can not possibly be the same person as the Jokers portrayed in the earlier films. Basically, the film can’t function as the Joker’s origin story.
https://medium.com/media/6670ff195f9925f591c8a634d3843682/hrefFor the sake of simplicity we will profile a composite of the many Jokers that preceded the prequel. In the MindHub system they have a common drive and a similar position in the MindHub circle. They all have Resentment combined with social proactive drives. The combination of Resentment with social proactiveness creates a personality that is willing and able to manipulate the environment in a way that can create chaos and harm, particularly with strong levels of Resentment. They also have a common aim, to have Fun. They vary their games, jokes, tricks, and their modes of violence as the name Joker would suggest and they are quite proud of their displays. For lack of a better phrase, they’re having “I don’t give an F” energy. They have strong Ego. As a viewer, we are never asked to emotionally relate to these villains and we have some comedic relief with them on the screen. They are evil, but in a zany way so that it is easier to view them lightly.
In contrast 2019s Joker, Arthur Fleck, presents with a very different set of drives. He does have Resentment in common with the others, but his other relatively fixed drive is Regret which presents as hopelessness. This is a sad clown. Due to this hopelessness, he is very present-oriented with no aims at all. The lability of his thoughts and emotions suggests mental health issues, his most prominent symptom being his inappropriate emotional responses which it seems are compulsive or not within his control. He attempts to deal with this in a functional way by becoming a clown, but this strategy breaks down when he loses his job. He loved his job because he is more social with animals and children, than adults and he understands that he doesn’t fit into society.
His third primary drive switches between boredom and attachment, which also creates shifts between being proactive and reactive making his behavior at times spontaneous and at other times calculated. This feels chaotic, like a personality roulette, where both the audience and the character are hoping Arthur can land on a safer profile. Unfortunately, things deteriorate further at the climax of the film when his disappointments push him to develop Revenge. It’s at this point, where Arthur has all three inner drives that he is able to take action in a very disturbing way. He seems desperate to achieve an Ego drive and seeks attention and validation by appearing on a talk show and admitting to his crimes. However, by the end of the film Arthur still hates his life. As a viewer, we can’t take this Joker lightly, we pity him as much as we’re afraid of him.

None of the Jokers are written with enough consistent symptomology to diagnose with specific disorders, and it’s worth it to note that people can be evil to this extent without a mental illness. However, 2019 Arthur’s symptoms tend toward the dissociative elements of Cluster A disorders as he seems torn from reality and very much preocupied with his inner world which distresses him. He also has a challenging socioeconomic situation. The other Jokers are much closer to dramatic/erratic Cluster B disorders, particularly psychopathy, and seem to have infiltrated or have power at the highest levels of their society. Psychopaths might have an easier time climbing the social ladder, so it makes sense for them to have a gangster or business-like persona like Jack Nicholson’s joker. This kind of Joker would never laugh when he should be crying, and would be very unlikely to cry at all.

We find it unlikely, if not impossible, for 2019s Arthur Fleck to transform into such a social and proactive profile confident enough or resourceful enough to reach such a level of power and control. This Joker doesn’t prefer chaos; he is chaos!

Date Runner Analysis — Will and Jada Smith
Today we will discuss a very discussed couple, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, and particularly how their relationship affected Will. How did he change from a 90s Show Business Prince to a Self-recriminating Simp? We will analyze Will and Jada’s approach style from their early days together and the changing dynamics of their relationship through the lens of the MindHub profiling system.
https://medium.com/media/6a5d2824be8e1629eeb0489283a8698a/hrefBoth systems add to an overall understanding of the current situation and the disappointments of the couple. Jada and Will began their relationship back in the 90s and married after a few years of dating. Since records are scarce here, we can look to their respective personalities through interviews to understand their likely approach styles. In most appearances from this time period Will exhibits Lust, Ego and Ambition. We see him bask in the glory of audience attention, asking people to clap longer and louder as he appears in several clips which shows primary
Ego or the desire for attention. He was constantly working on both his acting craft and his music career with prodigious output, showing primary Ambition. Lust, which in the system shows the need to blow off steam, is in evidence as Will would indulge in some bad boys behavior with his friends. This combination of drives is social to the max or totally extraverted. In the Date Runner system, these drives would translate to a dating approach style of Plus two, meaning he would be comfortable making both verbal and physical contact with potential love interests. Most pluses are open and comfortable dating other pluses.
Jada is also a Plus two. She shows an Ego drive, also seeking attention
and is very vocal about her self-love. Women with Ego in the system tend toward speaking about how important self-love is, and Jada’s focus on self-love has been consistent throughout the years. She also has an extreme drive called Revenge. Revenge is a willingness to hit back at people who threaten what they perceive as important to them and the extreme called “autocracy” shows a domineering need to control. In the 90s Jada was directing music videos and even when interviewed about her projects would end up directing the interview. She would frequently make sure credit was given to her for ideas that were executed by people like Doctor Dre or Tupac and said she knew they would be big like she knew their potential from the outset. She exhibits a Greed primary drive, which
is often looking for opportunities to expand their influence as well as their assets. So what happens when two Plus two personalities date? Plus two men and Plus two women will be relatively comfortable dating, but they do not act the same. For men, the Plus women are simple, easy, and fast, so they are often preferred even if the woman is a compromise in terms of score when compared to minus women options. Let’s compare their stats.

Will’s score was quite high. He is tall, rich, and super famous. Such men are often a moving target or on the wishlist of Plus two women. Jada was better-than-average looking, slim, but would have a slight deduction in score for being extremely short. Given the parameters, Jada would have seen Will as a “great catch”. The personality drives of plus two women can
often make for excellent acting skills, particularly in the presence of such a catch. They may be chameleons who can mimic any traits that might be particularly desirable for men including supportiveness and accommodation. Sooner or later, the real personality will emerge.
What happens during a long term relationship can be quite different to what happens during the dating window and can be difficult to
assess, but some aspects of Will and Jada’s relationship have been put up for display. Men generally can compartmentalize emotions
and also areas of life. When they have built something with their
woman and that’s flourished over time, what is confronting to their pride and manhood is not only about the intimate relationship, but everything that it’s made. This often makes it extremely difficult for men to let go. They sense the relationship as foundational, particularly when going through the loss of the significant relationship.
For women, disappointments tend to accumulate. What feels threatening to a woman isn’t a loss of their foundations, it’s the sense that with every minor complaint, things could have been otherwise or better in some way. This is especially the case with plus women, who can’t help but see opportunity everywhere or ruminate on alternatives. For the most part, women do not see their counterparts as foundational to their well being, but partnership is more about felt affection. The difference in perspective between the sexes can create a large rift. Will fell into a bit of a trap precisely due to his lighter personality, having no inner drives and needing to convince a quite intense person to continue in the relationship. Will’s default way of loving is likely to create positive emotions through shared experience, believing money or fun could help him to handle the issues. He thought if they had good experiences together that she would love him, but the more he gives the less Jada would respect him. Jada, who we’ve mentioned has Autocracy as a default mode in her personality, would simply not be receptive to such behavior. In this way, Will was doomed from the start. Jada wants an intense man, one with inner drives, potentially one with even stronger inner drives than herself.
People often speculate that Tupac was the idealization of her preferred type. The trap we’ve described can be self-deceptive as sometimes the beloved will react happily or say the things or act the way the lover hopes they will. Hope survives by intermittent reinforcement. When people are prioritizing their partners above all else, we call this an Intimate aim. When Intimate becomes first in priority, above all other life aims, especially with men, it can be difficult for onlookers to respect. Women respond especially negatively to men who don’t have other priorities. Over time, it is evident that sadness builds in Will, and his personality profile changes from Lust to Regret and from Ambition to Boredom. This would make him much less social and more proactive. On his social media, we can see the shift toward more extreme physical activities and impulsiveness. He takes a lot more risks than he took before.

The Oscars slap heard round the world, drew attention to what was going on with Will under the surface. Now that we know Will and Jada were separated at the time, we can see the violence as an outburst of emotion spilling over, combined with ego and the need for others to see what he wanted to show was his. This seeming protectionism was denial on multiple levels, the deepest of which was that Will was crying out about his wife, who hadn’t acted in this role for years. He was emotionally angry due to failed intimate aim and regret. Often, people do not expect regret to manifest as rage, but with certain triggers it can and does. Men who choose to marry plus two women can’t relax or feel too comfortable. They should stay on their toes. Jada would have always been difficult to domesticate. She also has said she never wanted or intended to marry Will. Plus twos can be brutally honest and should be believed. The trajectory of the relationship from here shouldn’t be so surprising.

MindHub Analysis — Revolutionaries
Today, we will attempt to profile the personalities of several famous revolutionaries. So what is a revolutionary? Revolutionaries are individuals who attempted, or succeeded, in radically transforming the social system or hierarchy in their given place and time. We can see from an analysis of nine such people that, surprisingly, there is no common profile, with the exception of an aim which in the MindHub system we call Community. Going against the social system or norms can arise from many core motivations and diverse aims, or may arise from the confluence of circumstances and decisions of key people during a turning point in history. In any case, the personality of the revolutionary figure can have various effects on the speed or degree of social transformation.
https://medium.com/media/1b8fd6d9d86f120276ee443852b152df/hrefThe RebelFirst up, Che Guevara. Che Guevara was the iconic Argentinian medical student-cum-guerrilla fighter, now often found on trendy t-shirts. He showed from his early career till his death a combination of drives including primary Principles and Compassion. This combination means Che was attempting to live up to ideals and was willing to sacrifice for those in distress. Che wanted to be a doctor who could treat ailing people, and aimed to work without compensation. In this sense, he was a true humanitarian and due to this many remember him affectionately. However, his strongest drive is a drive we call Lust in the MindHub system. Lust at its most extreme is carelessness or no longer taking into account the consequences of one’s actions. We should note the combination of Lust and Compassion is statistically rare. In the MindHub system these are referred to as polar drives. In this case Che was ‘Knocked under the table by vices but compensating for it with goodness to others’. In the moment, he wouldn’t take what happens to people into account, yet strangely he did care about what happened to people after the dust settled. Over the course of time, Che was able to use his strong principles to justify being led into violent conflicts, and with repeated successes in using guerilla tactics, he grew accustomed to the effects of war and willing to take ever greater risks. In the MindHub system we also look to the aims or what people strive for in life over a longer period of time. In Che’s case we can see Community as his first aim. He is at every stage of his career working toward improvements for the community, at least from his own perspective. Another more personal aim, was for the enjoyment of novelty. He enjoyed travelling especially. He has become a symbol of global rebellion, especially for social groups sharing similar drives.

Gandhi, known as the Mahatma, was a leader who employed the resistance to kick the British out of India, he also wrote a gripping autobiography. Gandhi is know principally for the concept and practice of civil disobedience. However, early in his career he studied approaches to creating movements in South Africa and was educated in England. He clearly displayed what we would call a primary Ambition drive, fully dedicating himself to success as an activist. He also had primary principles in combination with Ego. Now, Gandhi did not have Ego in the colloquial sense, wanting to be recognized or praised for his achievements. However, he wanted his life to be a perfect model of his ideals, and wanted others to recognize and follow the superiority of that model. His autobiography is subtitled “The Story of My Experiments with Truth” where he lays out quite clearly how he arrived at his life’s governing principles. The autobiography reveals a constantly deepening interior life, and we can see his effort centered around personal growth which Gandhi saw as foundational to the way he would connect with and teach the community. His legacy shows that non-violence and gentle dissent can also transform society. In MindHub this is an aim called Spirituality. Indeed, Gandhi’s legacy is as much one of a spiritual leader as a secular one.

Lenin was the Bolshevik revolutionary who brought the iconic cap with a star and the October revolution. Under his leadership the party grew from about 20,000 people to more than 700,000 in a short span of years. Lenin had primary Ambition, working continuously for the progress of the party. He also shows the combination of primary Security and Revenge drives. In MindHub Revenge usually means an individual seeks to control circumstances and security focuses on avoiding unnecessary risks. The combination of these drives usually leads to a focus on standard procedures as they help to keep the necessary level of control with limited expenditures of resources. Lenin’s profile is totally reactive, on the right side of the MindHub circle, which is shown through his ability to prepare but wait sometimes for protracted periods for the right moment to act. We might also mention that Lenin’s profile is without any extreme drives, making it quite sturdy, healthy in the sense that disappointments are unlikely to rattle him. His aims were also in alignment with his drives. He had Competence foremost, which focuses on expertise in the chosen field and Finance which is concerned with having the resources to execute operations.

Mandela was the anti-apartheid revolutionary who spent the majority of his career in jail, incarcerated for 27 years from 1964 to 1988. He served one five year term as South Africa’s president from 1994 to 1999. Mandela certainly shows a primary Principles drive as he was willing to sacrifice his personal life for a larger cause. He kept himself busy in prison by writing two books, both about the struggle toward freedom and by studying the law. Although the works can be seen as autobiographical they are largely about how to set up life and leadership methods that serve others. This also reflects Mandela’s primary Compassion. He was focused on alleviating distress of his fellow inmates while in jail and in the distress of the oppressed in his country. He was constantly working toward those ends and even took it upon himself to learn enough to defend himself. Mandela was able to keep his hope through such a long wait because his profile is so balanced, with the position of the drives more compact around the center, though without many inner drives. This means greater flexibility, his drives are suitable for solo work as well as cooperation. He also kept his hope and increased the hope of others through a clear understanding of the goal for his country. He had a Community aim first, showing solidarity with the oppressed instead of setting himself apart from them. He had Spirituality as an aim as well but, without an Ego drive, this shows as a willingness to draw strength from a higher power and to have an awareness of the possibility of transcendence, which has a role in supporting the higher aim and drives.

Mao was the Chinese communist leader who introduced those infamous matching jumpsuits. Mao is the only revolutionary in our list with two extreme drives. Extreme drives have the tendency to disbalance the personality. Mao showed extreme Security and extreme Principles. In the MindHub system extreme Principles is fanaticism, a conviction that one’s beliefs are the only valid choice. Extreme Security is paranoia, seeing danger everywhere. Mao also had Ambition working consistently to implement his plans. It is also worth noting there are no individualistic drives in Mao’s personality. This combination of drives, along with this lack of awareness or care about individuals, contributed to the justification of eliminating entire groups of people. Mao also shows a life aim called Competence. He is focused on expertise in his domain. He had a second aim of Community. This combination of aims, with Community supporting Competence, means that Mao was most concerned with molding the community competently, essentially in a project of social engineering.

Peron was the Argentine first lady and political powerhouse who championed women's and workers’ rights, while hording extravagant fashion. She was a divisive figure beloved by many and hated enough to have her body stolen, twice. Eva was afflicted with poverty early in life and was open about her total self-transformation between her young life to the life of an actress, and then again from the life of an actress to political activist and first lady. She even separated her usual personality as Eva Peron from her new personality, Evita, which she popularized among the people. However radical the transformation, we can see common drives between Eva and Evita. She certainly maintained a strong Ego drive, enjoying public praise and attention, but in combination with this drive she also had primary Greed. In MindHub, having Greed shows expansionist tendencies, desire for monetary resources, and willingness to push to obtain quicker results. Evita was famously hardworking but for short periods of time, sometimes clocking twenty hour days as minister of health and labor, with workers, women, and in setting up her own foundation. She was willing to plow her way to what she wanted without much thought toward burnout or long term consequences for herself or other co-workers who she pushed equally hard. There is also evidence of a Principles drive, as she took strong positions on human rights issues and zealously defended them. Sadly, at the height of her involvement with governmental campaigns she was struck down by cancer and died at the young age of thirty-three. Eva’s aims were directed toward securing a future for herself, getting the necessary attention to secure resources, and then securing a future for others who were raised in similar situations to her own. She had a finance aim with a community aim second.

Aung San Suu Kyi is a Myanmar democracy advocate who spent much of her political career under house arrest, but whose tenure in power left much to be desired. She spent fifteen years out of a twenty year period confined to her home with only occasional visits allowed. She spent the time reading political books, biographies and writing essays of her own, which were published in two volumes. She also played piano and tended to orchids. Her activities reveal an organized and consistent work ethic which fits well with the primary Ambition drive in the MindHub system. Her personal essays also show a personality focused on logical structures and having effective formulas for understanding that will benefit her as a political leader in the future. She studied the models of democracy in many countries and was attempting to learn from each of them in turn to be exacting about the implementation of democracy in the transition of Myanmar. Though this may look like Principles, it may better reflect her pragmatic and strategic nature, which points to her drives being mostly reactive. Given her captivity and the assassination of her father, it’s more likely she has a primary Revenge drive. In MindHub, this drive is not about personal revenge per se, but rather reflects the tendency toward cultivating strict control over circumstances and, as much as possible, over situations or the environment. She showed discipline in all aspects of life, making no demarcation between the political and personal. In addition to these, Aung San Su Kyi has had to develop a strong Security drive, as she has faced the danger of possible assassination and further arrests. Her aims have been to develop competence as a leader and to overthrow the current military hierarchy. The world seemed quite shocked to learn that she was not similar at all to her imprisoned revolutionary predessesors, showing neither strong community aim nor pronounced principles or compassion drives.

Fidel Castro was the bearded Cuban revolutionary who turned a tropical paradise into a communist time warp. Castro ruled for 47 years, enough time to span ten US presidents. Castro had primary extreme Lust in the Mindhub system, which is a carelessness regarding the consequences of one’s actions. Combined with Ego, this drive can create a particularly impulsive and individualistic leader, which can be seen as unpredictable or capricious to others. Many world leaders including Vladimir Putin described Castro as unique, but what they meant was that it was difficult to determine what he might do and surprising that, given his wildness, he was able to outmanuever enemies. Castro’s proactiveness was cooled by primary Security, a drive that would become a necessity to survive approximately six hundred assassination attempts. What Castro directed himself toward over the long term was simply the goal to keep himself at the top of the hierarchy, but he had a second aim called Fun. He wanted to enjoy the process and enjoy the power as he held it. He made time for novel sensations and particularly enjoyed cigars, scuba diving, and adventuring with likeminded friends like Ernest Hemingway. Toppling oppressive regimes is a serious thing to do, as is leading a country for a half century, so Castro comes across as very social and charismatic through this unique mix of aims and drives.

Ho Chi Minh, known affectionately as Uncle Ho, was the Vietnamese revolutionary who taught the French and Americans some valuable lessons. His backstory is mysterious as the biographies of him that exist do not agree on key points of his early life. A person who used hundreds of psudonyms and pioneers ways to create invisible networks underground during war, is a person who has primary Security drive. Ho Chi Minh saw danger and responded to threats accordingly. We know that Ho Chi Minh was well-educated and had a strict Confucian upbringing, and that he became a poet and writer before his political career. We see evidence of primary Principles as his letters, diaries, and correspondence were all related to becoming a committed Marxist-Leninist and to the cause of independence from French colonial rule. His third primary drive is Compassion, which is also evident in his diaries, but more so in his visits to children in Vietnam. He clearly cared about the children, but also wanted to instill in them similar values. His triangle is mainly positioned in the lower half of the Mindhub circle, showing a more introverted disposition. Such personalities are usually not active enough to grab power on their own. Ho Chi Minh was likely chosen as a leader due to his knowledge and zeal for the cause. He had a competence aim with a second community aim; he wanted his use his intellect to plan and implement changes that would benefit everyone. He didn’t want to be the face of a movement; he just wanted everyone to prosper.
