This is entirely true, but what this doesn't tell you is that you can magnify your earning potential several times over working for yourself rather than somebody else. This means finding a low-maintenance side gig and banking the earnings. This is what Tim Ferriss refers to as a muse in his book The Four Hour Work Week. If you do it right, you can net an additional $15,...

Some Person on Facebook to a friend on Facebook:   Lavar Burton is the man!

Friend:  Yes, and don't EVER forget that!

Me:  I am only sad that we'll never see the Captain LaForge spin off we know would have been awesome.

Friend:  If we do, Will Smith will play Geordi. :(

Me:  Yeah… Will Smith will play Geordi… Sigh.

Rush Limbaugh on Haiti

"We've already donated to Haiti. It's called the U.S. income tax"

I shouldn't be surprised I guess - but this is outside what I would expect even from the Republicans. It is sick and despicable. Is this how we want the world to see America?

To: Rush Limbaugh

From: Roger Ebert

You should be horse-whipped for the insult you have paid to the highest office of our nation.

Having followed President Obama's suggestion and donated money to the Red Cross for relief in Haiti, I was offended to hear you suggest the President might be a thief capable of stealing money intended for the earthquake victims.

As funny as this bit is - its kinda hard to watch as this guy knows better than anyone else what it looks/feels like when this sort of thing goes down. Do people rememeber how badly he wanted "The Tonight Show" now?

Main Gallery: KIRSTEN NELSON, assembly required

Frederieke Taylor Gallery is pleased to present assembly required , new sculpture by Kirsten Nelson .  Constructed out of common home building materials, these sculptures exist between what they seem to be and what they seem to be lacking; what is still required in order to understand them as realized objects or idealist representations.
