Sofya Abramovna Mogilevskaya (1903-1981), Russian Soviet writer, author of stories for children and youth

Sofia devoted about fifty years of her life to children's literature, writing over fifty different works - stories, stories, fairy tales, scientific and educational books for preschool, younger, middle and older children. Her works, popular during the life of the author, continue to be published and read at the present time.

Sofya Abramovna Mogilevskaya was a native Muscovite. She was born into the family of a famous musician and, at the request of her parents, was preparing to become a pianist. She did not become a pianist, but fell in love with music for life. She has such an excellent book about music as Cello Santa Teresa.
