Watch for New Covers for the Twist Brothers

The Twist Brothers will have a new look soon. The new covers are more compatible with the romantic suspense genre, and they will create a cohesive look for the Bex Dane brand moving forward.

Moving forward you say? Ooh, what’s in store?

I’ve had a fun month studying hot alpha protector novels by some of the best-selling authors out there. I’m planning to start a new Men of Siege spinoff series. Helix will definitely get a book, and you’ll see appearances by Rogan, Falcon, and other familiar characters. I’m still working on the titles and series name, but I have several new hot guys, sassy women, and exciting storylines plotted out. Whatever it becomes, it’s going to be steamy and fast-paced. I’m going to be writing like crazy for the next few months, and I’m excited to get started.

Loralei has a unique nautical style in the beginning, but in the end, she finds her inner lioness and brings her out to play. She’s a mix of Camila Cabello and Mazikeen from Lucifer.

Here’s a little teaser:
“We need to draw some attention to ourselves,” he says while staring out over my head.
“What? No!” But I’m too late, he’s already dragging me out to the dance floor. My drink splashes as I reach to set it down on the bar.
He pulls me through the crowd and stops dead center in the middle. I’m afraid of what he’ll do next, but I’m stuck out here with him. A new song comes on and a wicked grin blooms on his face like they’re playing it just for him. It’s a grungy rock song, and his hips start moving to the vicious beat.
“C’mon. Dance, Lola.”
His whole body is vibrating to the music now, and the heat coming off of him is making me sweat. I start to move to the music but only a little, shifting my weight from foot to foot.
“Put your hips into it.” He makes a circle with his hips.
My cheeks are flaming hot. I never draw attention to myself like this, and Mace is far too comfortable with it.
His hands grab my hips and sways them back and forth. “Think inner lioness.” He makes a rawr sound and a tiger claw with his hand. He’s ridiculous and also gorgeous. It’s very hard to resist him. This is for a job after all. I let my hips go loose and finally start feeling the beat.
“That’s it. Woot!”
He takes off his jacket and tosses it into the crowd.
Oh my God, he’s crazy.
The chorus of the song says “Porn Star Dancing,” and I have to laugh at Mace for picking the perfect song to start stripping in a club. He goes for the buttons of his shirt, and I reach out to stop him.
“Mace, no.”
“Why not?” His hands are stronger than mine, and he has his shirt open in seconds. He’s pulling it over his shoulders, and I’m flashed with his massive hairy chest, ripped abs, and tattoos. He’s a feast for the eyes. Several people have started to watch him now that he’s half naked.
And oh my, with his shirt and jacket off, his pants are more visible. I’m trying not to stare, but I think he’s half-hard, and I can see the outline of a giant penis in his pants.
He’s not self-conscious at all. In fact, I bet he’s proud of his penis imprint on his suede pants.

It’s deathly quiet in the room. I hadn’t noticed the rocking before, but the ship sways with the waves. The noises we were hearing in the bathroom have stopped.

Either her ghost knows she’s sleeping or the room is rigged to stop making noise after the Devil’s hour is over.

Knock.

Oh shit. Her ghost is back and wants to chat.

Knock. Knock.

I peek at her to see if she heard it.

Bang.

Damn. I felt the walls rattle with that one. This fucking ship. How does anyone sleep on it?

A big curvy warm ass lands on my crotch again. She’s making noises from the back of her throat and biting her lip.

“Did you hear that?” she whispers.

“It’s a friendly ghost. You’re fine. I got a knife in my pocket.” And a raging boner but yeah…

“I’m not going back to that bed. I’m staying here.” She bites her nails and shakes her head.

“You can’t stay here,” I say.

“Why not?”

I grab her hips and jam them down on my shaft.

“Oh.”

Yeah. Now she’s remembering there’s a man in the room, not just a ghost. A man who’s had a taste of her and is aching for more. A man who spent the whole night watching her ass be cute and is now fighting with all his might to avoid throwing her down and fucking her on the couch in the most haunted room on the Queen Mary.

“Um.” She mumbles.

“Go back to the bed, Cass.” I say it through clenched teeth because I don’t want her to go.

“I’m scared.” She doubles down on the lip biting and that doesn’t help at all.

“Go back to the bed,” I say more sternly. She’s pushing the limits now.

“There was a loud slam,” she says, like that is going to change my mind.

Time to tell her the truth. “I’m gonna be slamming you up against the wall in about five seconds and what you told me is you’re protecting your heart because I’m dangerous, which is absolutely true. I’m telling you to watch over yourself, so we both agreed no contact. You came and put your sweet ass on my cock—twice—and now I can’t be responsible for my actions.”

“Oh.” Her voice is quiet.

“Do me a favor and go back to the bed.” I throw my head back and try not to look at her cute face as she realizes how she affects me.

She gets up slowly and I can’t help but look up. I want to watch it on her face. Sweet. Funny. Beautiful.

“Okay. I’m uh, sorry. I didn’t think. I shouldn’t… You’re right. We should…” She crawls back into the bed. Oh yeah, she had no clue how she affects me. I have to squeeze my dick till it hurts to tame it down. Control. I got it under control.

“Good night, Cass.” I got it under control.

Shit.

Captivated by Cutter provided me a lot of comfort during the uncertainty of Covid. When things got tough, I escaped to a haunted house with Cutter and Cass to play dress up as Freddy Krueger and his zombie girlfriend. I hope you enjoy their journey as much as I have.

Some important changes! New Titles!

Last month, you met Foster, the patriarch of the Twist family. That book was called This is Us, but I’ve changed the title to Fighting for Foster and made it a prequel. Cutter’s book was called Twisted Love, but I changed it to Captivated by Cutter and made it Book 1. Mace’s book was called Wild and Wicked and is now Memorizing Mace. The changes are intended to help with marketing and reaching more readers. Same awesome books, new title and series numbers.

Big Changes to the Twist Brothers

After much debate, I have decided to change the titles of the Twist Brothers’ books and renumber the series.

Lots of reasons, but here’s the new lineup;

Fighting for Foster (A Twist Brothers Prequel #0.5)

Captivated by Cutter (Twist Brothers Book One)

Memorizing Mace (Twist Brothers Book Two)

This is Us (Twist Brothers Book One) is now Fighting for Foster (A Twist Brothers Prequel #0.5) Published June 14, 2020

Twisted Love (Twist Brothers Book Two) is now Captivated by Cutter (Twist Brothers Book One) Expected Publication Date July 30, 2020

Wild and Wicked (Twist Brothers Book Three) is now Memorizing Mace (Twist Brothers Book Two) Expected publication November 2020

New covers are gorgeous. Same beautiful men. New Font. This is Us content has not changed, just the title and series number.

Fighting for Foster was previously published as This is Us on June 14, 2020. There are no changes to the content.



Captivated by Cutter was previously up for pre-order as Twisted Love but will be published as Captivated by Cutter on July 30, 2020



Memorizing Mace was previously up for pre-order as Wild and Wicked. It will be published as Memorizing Mace in November 2020.

If you pre-ordered Cutter or Mace, you will still receive them on the release date with the new titles and series number.

If you reviewed This is Us, you don’t have to change your review to reflect the new title (but you can if you’d like).

There are no significant content changes in Fighting for Foster.

I decided to make the change because the old titles and series order weren’t specific enough.

Foster was originally meant to be a prequel because he and Mila are the parents of the Twist Family, but I tried to make it work as Book One. I think Cutter will do a better job as the oldest Twist Brother and he will make a better Book One.

The new titles will also hopefully improve sales as readers can see from the titles what the book is about. Foster is a forbidden romance about fighting for love. Cutter is a wounded-hero story about a guy with scars and an obsession with knives. Mace is an opposites-attract love story about memory loss and life choices.
I have updated the blurbs to reflect this too.

I’d like to blame it all on Covid craziness and that could possibly be it. Most of these decisions are made at 4am, but I also think this is what’s best for my boys. I hope you enjoy the series with the new titles and I hope Foster, Cutter, and Mace bring massive escapism and joy to your lives like they have mine. I also have tentative plans for Book Three, Runing from Remy, which will be a brother’s best friend romance, but the future of Remy’s book is up in the air depending on lots of factors.
